The Bride of a Dragon

When Treasca finally started to awaken the sky was glittering with stars. She tried to stand up, but found herself tied to a giant marble slab. It was tilted so she was half standing half laying on it's cold stone. She gasped into a gag as she saw nothing but a thousand foot drop before her. Men in white robes stood on either side of her holding up torches. She had barely a chance to register all of this when she heard the sound of massive wings. A huge white snake like dragon was weaving it's way towards them. She froze in place where these men really going to feed her to a dragon? One man stepped forward and dropped to a knee before the creature that hovered in the air before Treasca, so close she could feel its breath on her skin. It smelled oddly good like sweet mint.

"My King we have brought you the girl as requested. Does this maiden please you?" Treasca recognized the voice of Governor Jackson has he raised his arms out to the huge monster. The dragon turned its huge snout towards her as if regarding her worth. This infuriated Treasca for some reason, and she looked into the beasts eyes challenging him.

Brenton couldn't help, but be amused by this girl that challenged him despite being offered like a lamb. He turned his snout back to the governor and spoke. He could not use human speech in this form, but he said in telepathy to all present.

" I have found a bride at last our contract is complete. You may deliver her onto my castle within three days time." He said grandly before swooping up and away back towards his home.
