Prisoners

Treasca tried not to move. She listened with all her might trying to hear any small noise. At first she thought perhaps the lights just went out when she heard the water moving very faintly. Her heart pounded, and she tried to orientat herself. Hands wrapped around her making her yelp.

"Who is there?" She half shouted voice shrill with panic.

"The harpies where supposed to hold you for me, but that stupid snake found you." A deep voice said behind her. She didn't know it, fear made her shiver despite the warm water. She folded her arms over her breasts.

"Shhh you are so afraid, you really shouldn't be. I don't want to hurt YOU." He said emphasizing the word you.

"No, my quarrel is with that Dragon not his beautiful little slave.. I think you will be a fine companion." He kissed her neck and rubbed his hand above her arm where she tried to cover herself.

"I would love to wait for the snake to slither his way back, but as much as I would love to flatter my ego I am not ready to face him. I will be needing you to help me with that, so you will be coming with me. I promise to treat you well." He began dragging her through the water. Treasca kicked and screamed hoping Delyn would hear her. The man had no trouble with her struggles though and soon they where out of the water. The room was still pitch black so she stumbled as he dragged her further out of the water. She heard footsteps coming for them fast, and she threw herself on the ground. The man cursed, and tried to wretch her back up to her feet. Treasca's hand brushed a pillar, and she dove for it wrapping herself around it.

"You try my patience woman, get up or I swear you will regret it." He snarled. A roar reverberated around the room making the man panic and pull her with such strength she skidded back into the water. She resurfaced sputtering, but not hurt. She was the flung over the man's shoulder, and he was running. It felt like they pushed through a membrane with a soft pop. Light blinded Treasca for a minute the man dropped her onto a soft surface making her yelp. She sat there several minutes trying to shield her eyes from the too bright light. A shadow passed in front of her, and her captor laughed in a hysterical sort of way. Treasca shuddered vision clearing at last she was nose to nose with the man.
