Kindness

Brenton grinned like he had won a prize. This was going to be very easy. She was obviously fae, even she seemed. The look on her face was still reserved, but she obviously was starting to see the truth. He could afford to be generous now that he was a hundred percent certain.

"I think we can stop for the day. I have some other entertainment for us actually." Brenton grinned down at Treasca who still stood unmoving staring at the smelly plant. She turned to look at him eyes wary.

"And that would be?" She asked somberly. At least she was no longer giving him the silent treatment.

"I thought you would like to see your family." Brenton said holding the door for her. Treasca just stopped dead swirling around to face him so fast she nearly fell over. "How?!" She practically yelled gripping his arms. That was the first time she had willingly touched him. It made him feel light headed. "The same way I could see you when you tried to run." He said wrapping an arm around her leading her away.
