Treasca was being pelted by rain and hail. Lighting was striking near by trees making the horse buck in fear. She calmed the mare best she could then dismounted trying to drag the terrified animal to the meager shelter of a nearby cliff. Treasca slipped suddenly the reigns fell from her grasp as she tried to scramble back up before she was trampled. The horse bolted away running back the way they had come. Treasca swore running to the shelter herself as the hail grew in size. If it got any bigger it could easily crush her skull. She pressed as close as she was able to the back wall shivering in fear and the cold.

There was a sudden pop and a full grown man sat next to Treasca. The man wrapped his arm around her, and Treasca screamed trying to kick away from the man temporarily forgetting the raging storm in her suprise. The man yanked her back against him placing his other hand gently over her mouth.

"Sorry about the storm, I may have over done it a bit." He said leaning forward to look at the sky. Treasca tried desperately to wiggle free, but the man was fiercely strong. She bit his palm snarling at him.

"Hmm.. I do admire your spirit, but that is a wimpy bite." The man grinned at her turning her face to examine the bruises on her face. She gasped eyes widening as she realized he was the same white haired man from the fair.

" I am Brenton by the way. It has come to my attention we never where introduced. What is your name?" He asked looking her over. Treasca felt a blush creeping over her face, and it annoyed her. She was extremely confused as well which really was a feeling she wasn't use to.

"Hmm..you are being stubborn I see. Is it because I nearly ate you? I promise I won't even take a nibble." He swore raising a hand.

"Wait a minute you are the.." Treasca stopped mid sentence fighting wildly to get away suddenly. Brenton seemed mildly surprised, but kept his grip firm.

"I know you are a punky little thing, but I think if I am to get you home in one peice you had better settle down. I think I will take a page out of your book, nighty night now." Brenton said and Treasca fell into a deep sleep at once.
