Brenton paced his office something He seemed to do more, and more these days. That fool Thalon was right unless he was able to lay his claim on Treasca soon anyone could take her from him. He fell into his chair sighing. He had intended to woe her overtime not be a tyrant and just take her. Though he supposed he had already done that. He could not let her go back to the Traveler's now either. Too many people knew of her. and once that loud mouth Thalon was through many more would know as well. He was furious with Delyn as well. He knew he had asked a lot of the Drake, but he had never let him down until now. He needed out of this castle for awhile. He got to his feet, and started for the main entrance.

Brenton felt much better soaring through the skies. The wind wiped at his face, and made his scales feel nice and cool. He changed forms just outside of Alonian dropping the spell that kept him unseen as well. He was growing accustomed to walking around on two legs again. He hadn't held this form so long since his mother and father where alive.

The city seemed much more subdued than during the festival, but there was still a lot of action to see. The children ran around under foot squabbling, and playing games only they understood. Merchants sold their wares yelling over one another to attract attention, and even squabbling here and there themselves. Brenton kept his hood up he really didn't want to attract attention, but he wanted to know if the Traveler's had known he had their daughter. He saw a guard he recognized heading down an alleyway. and picked up his pace. Brenton lowered his hood, and called after the guard.

"Are you one of the faithful?" It was a code they had come up with long ago to keep the general public from knowing just what ruled them. The guard spun to face him eyes wide.

"Your humble servant listens, my king." The guard said kneeling.

" Very good then, I have some questions that I need answered." Brenton said walking toward the kneeling man.
