Confiding

Delyn walked through the magical door, and embraced his brother. Taylon held his brother at arms length to look him over. Taylon had the same fire red hair all Drakes had, but was shorter and broader than Delyn.

"That Dragon finally let you have a break? It has been nearly fifty years since I last saw you! Thalon gives me a day off at least every ten years." Taylon grinned at his brother leading him to a chair near the rustic table he had been sitting at. Delyn sat down smiling. His brother always could make him feel better when he was down.

"So brother what brings you here? You look like something is weighing on your mind." Taylon poured him a glass of whiskey and passed it to him.

Delyn sighed and said, " My master has taken a bride..."

Taylon spat whiskey all over his brother's face in suprise, and yelled "WHAT? That recluse actually decided to get married! To who? Was it Saleen? That would indeed be a very troubling pair to look after."

Delyn shook his head flinging whiskey all over before continuing. " No, actually a woman from the Alonian. You remember the bargain my master made with them? Well He found a Fae living amongst the human Traveler's, and took her as his bride."

Taylon starred for several minutes. Then said very quietly as if afraid to be overheard. " Brenton has married a Fae? Is she Seelie or Unseelie court? He had better be careful if the Fae find out he has one of their people they will unleash hell on him." Taylon looked at his brother with a look of pity.

"Well to be honest she doesn't know apparently the left her with the humans, as is their custom of course, but never reclaimed her. She might have lived a very long time with them before someone noticed." Delyn sipped his drink somberly before continuing. " She absolutely hates my master now. I fear that she will not ever reconcile with him. He needs her now, I can see it in his face if she leaves he will be heartbroken."

Taylon looked alarmed at that. "Brother this is very serious indeed. I am not sure how to help you. Match making was never my strength. My master has been alone nearly as long as your own." Delyn nodded not looking up. Suddenly the door flew open, and Taylon's master came in grinning.
