Apologies from A Dragon

Treasca finally finished her story not looking at him. She didn't want to see pity in his eyes not from him.

"We have to stop that creature from hurting anyone else even if it means I am bound to you forever." She said tears welling in her eyes. He stood suddenly making her jump and look up at him. He placed his hands on either side of her head, and gently pressed his lips to hers.

"I will kill this Shade, and I will make you mine, but I will not do it just to save others. If I do eventually you will resent me. I want the chase of wooing you. What fun would it be if I gave in now?" He said then deepened the kiss before sighing and pushing himself up right again. He grinned down at her mischievously. Then sat back across from her.

"Regarding your parents, I think you need to speak with them. Don't look at me like that. I plan on you staying here, but I think you need to tell them if not all the truth then at least part. Warn them, that if you return with them you will be a target for every non-human entity in the world, and perhaps even some humans. I may have opened the hornets nest here, but if it had not been me eventually someone would have discovered you." He paused as if thinking very deeply. He sighed and waved his hand in a circle. " I know that I have wronged you. I am a very selfish creature, but I hope you can learn to love me. I will tell Delyn to take you to them tomorrow if you would like. I would go myself, but I am going to start tracking the Shade. I will be back in three days at the very latest. If I don't return go with your family, and get as far away as you can from here." He kissed her once more before turning, and leaving.
