Ch.3 Life changing

We all meet at Zera house one by one. As we waited for others to come we entertain ourselves by playing some card games. "Haha," Chris said holding his cards in his hand with pride. "Just hurry it up already," Moonlight said annoyed. "No way your winning," Deven said convened. "Yea right your bluffing," Chris said trying to study him. "Am I," Deven said increasing the steak. "Just hurry it up you two," Moonlight said. "I win," Alex said laying his cards down. "Hey what!!," Deven said surprised. That was the third time?, I said surprised. Sapphire clapped, "Good game." Moonlight grunts, "Darn I thought I had you." Alex chuckled, "Maybe next time." Zera come out the kitchen with some snacks. Like bowls full of some chips or some cookies. "Snacks anyone," Zera said as she brought it to us. I took a cookie eating it slowly in peace. As everyone else ate. "Oooh how about a movie," Sapphire said with a grin. Let me guess a scary movie, I said not even surprised. "Of course," she said turning on the tv putting on a scary movie. Everyone seemed so constrained on the tv so I kind of sneak to the kitchen I just when in the cabinets just to see if there was any snacks. I then bumped into someone. "Oh I didn't know you shucked out to," Alex said in a low tone as the scary movie when on. I mean yea what are you doing here, I asked. "Well I took this opportunity to sneak out the movie was terrible," Alex said with a chuckle. I laughed softy he was right though gosh Sapphire watch some terrible scary movies. "Hey how about we take a short walk together," Alex asked as the tv screamed in the background. I chuckled as I nodded. We got our jackets on and when outside. The moonlight shined in the moon sure was beautiful although it's kind of cloudy. It was a quiet night as we walked down the neighborhood. "You know I might move away," Alex said with a kind of sadden look. Oh no, I said with a sad tone. Then should I be quick in telling him my feelings. "I just wanted to tell you because I didn't want you to feel like I just left you," Alex said looking at me with a gentle smile. We walked around a little more before going back to the house. Thank you for telling me, I said as I looked at him. I could tell that he was pretty hurt to leave to leave us me... We stopped in front of Zera house. Alex..., I said softly. Alex looked at me as I looked down kind of shy and embarrassed. Alex... I like you a-as in more then a friend, I said all flustered. Alex eye widen as I stood there waiting. "W-wow I didn't know you liked me," Alex said finally. "But I have to reject-," as he said those words my heart shattered. I looked down as tears started forming. "H-hey that should stop us from being friends-," Alex said as I cut him off. Yea "friends", I said with some anger. I hid my face away from Alex as he step closer to me. Leave me alone!, I shouted stopping him in his tracks. I stepped away from him. "June?!," Lily said standing on the porch. I turned away from her. Alex tried to reach out his hand but I pulled him away. What do I not make you happy.., I said softly. "June I didn't attend to hurt you-," Alex said getting cut off again. Well you did are you happy now!, I said raising my voice. In the corner of my eye I could see everyone on the porch. A tear when down my face. "June please," Alex begged holding his hand out. I took a step forward, Just leave me be, I said trying to not to break down. As I took that last step my body floated in the air. What the, I said confused. "June!!!," Sapphire yelled. I looked at myself slowly disappearing. Ha was this my destiny I felt Alex grasp on me. "Come on," he said pulling me away from that light. I pushed him away, nothing will be the same. I closed my eyes as everyone else ran to me to get me out of this weird strange light. I'm so glad they don't know. All I could see was darkness. I'm sorry mom, I said to myself tears going down my face. I could feel my body just floating endlessly. As tears go down my face I drifted to sleep. My body feel numb and weak. I opened my eyes in a house. Huh, I said getting up putting my hand on my head. My head gosh it hurts like hell. "We found you in the forest you almost died," a boy said making tea. I see, I said as he handed a cup of tea to me. "I'm Mark," he said as he sat on a chair besides me. I'm June thank you for the tea, I said taking a sip. What is this another world... "Seeing how your dress you must be some kind of warrior," he said. Huh, I said confused looking at myself. I had bit of pieces of armor on me with a sword besides my waist. What how did this get here it was so strange. I touched the sword getting flashing of using it. I shock my head in shock and unbelief what was that. "Hmm I think you hit your head on the ground too hard," he responded. I understand why he would think that but I just sipped the tea. I appreciate your hospitality, I said looking down at the tea. "Your welcome to stay in this village as long as you like," he said. Village? So like this is some kind of fantasy world or something? "I could show you around if you like," he offered. I nodded as I put the tea on the bedside table. He held my hand ever so gently lending me outside. As I looked at the village. I was so amaze seeing the houses, lights and people. What a world... He introduced me to everyone in the village guards to villagers. It was so welcoming. "This is Jenny you could stay with her," he said as Jenny smiled. Ah thank you, I said with a slight bow. "If you like you could be a guard," Jenny suggested. I'll think about it, I said slowly. "Come on I'm sure your tried," she then said grabbing me. "I'll see you girls later then," Mark said as he walks off. I appreciated how kind and generous he was. This village is so beautiful and way different. It was such a welcoming village full of kind people as traders come and go. Jenny pulled me into her house closing the door from behind, "You could sleep in that room if you need anything left me know," she said with a smile walking over to this kind of weaving machine. It was made on wood and looked so complex. I watched a little while Jenny started to make cloth out of cotton. I didn't want to seem weird so I walked to the room closing the door. I took off the armor looking at myself. I undid my hair watching it drop to my shoulders. So is this where people go when they disappear, I said to myself laying on the bed. What should I do now? Maybe this world wouldn't be so bad...? I could make a life here...
