39 The First Test

As Vlad entered Ground Zero with a determination to begin his journey on the path of strength, his first objective was already set in his mind.

After entering the training grounds and seeing more than 150 children around his age group, some being older and many being younger than himself, he patiently waited for the instructors to arrive.

Vlad, now a part of Ground Zero, found himself surrounded by a group of children who had also experienced the harsh realities of a world in conflict. These young vampires, each with their own stories and scars, were brought together by a shared understanding of the unforgiving nature of their society. They had learned that relying on others was a luxury they couldn't afford and that they needed to become predators in a world where becoming prey was a real danger.
