At the end of the one week training, master Aidris appeared in front of them once more. Still with his expressionless face and his long silver hair dancing with the rhythm of the wind.
Upon seeing him They all greated him in unison. After acknowledging them, he began addressing them.
"I can see you've all made drastic progress, but your progress will remain useless if you do not apply it in real-life scenarios. so I've decided to text your progress myself."
with a flick of his , He unleashed one of his mid-level darkness skills [ blindfold].
Blindfold was a skill that allowed the user to completely blindfold his victims with darkness for a giving period of time.
This came as a shock to Elena, Aruh, and Arwin as they were able to see clearly in the darkness domain ever since they mastered the darkness element.
Never in their wildest dreams would they have believed that even after mastering the element of darkness, it would still be used as a weapon against them.
After blindfolding all three of them, Aidris began attacking them from every direction nonstop, as they would try to dodge the incoming attacks.
he would attack them nonstop for hours while only allowing them one hour to rest in an entire day.
they were only allowed to rest for an hour every day without eating, this went on for several days and he would only give them few drops of blood when he noticed they were on the brink of turning into a crazed blood sucker.
other times, he would open several blood flasks and allow the sweet metallic smell of blood to work its magic on the young vampires.
since they were literally starving in the hands of Aidris, their body will react almost immediately to the sweet smell of blood, compelling them to rush towards the direction of the blood.
this would result in another round of attacks from their teacher Aidris. while they were starving, Aidris was having a good time beating or, as he would put it, teaching them to be a better vampire.
this gruesome training continued until all three of them were able to sense and successfully dodge 90% of his attacks, and also able to resist the allure of the blood even while they were literally starving.
All of this took Aidris nothing less than 5months to teach Elena, Aruh, and arwin. for 5 months, they were only allowed to take off their blindfold for an hour every day while having to survive on a few amount of blood.
At the end of the 6 months, Aidris decided to move to the next part of his training, as he finally decided to take off their blindfold for good, and also return back to them their storage rings and devices.
This came as a shock and surprise to them. The first thing elena did was to check through her communication devices, and to her expectation, she met several notifications indicating that alacad and zareth had tried to reach out to her during the past months.
while she was checking her device, Arwin decided to go on a blood drinking spree. she was currently drinking from the 3rd blood flasks in just a matter of seconds.
seeing this, Aidris wondered if all he had thought them for the past couple of months was for not.
for the next phase of their training, Aidris took them to yet another planet. the planet they were currently on was not as big as zuk. from the point they were standing, Elena could feel the presence of about one hundred vampires with the help of her perception.
The vampire settlement on this planet was nothing like the one in zastlevania. if anything, she could tell every single vampire on this planet were shadow warriors. She could tell this much from the immense concentration of dark energies that was present in the entire settlement.
"Welcome to my home," Aidris said with a genuine smile on his face. this was the first time Elena and the others were seeing him smile in such a way.
It was easy to tell he cared deeply about this place. After speaking, he began making his way to the vampire settlement while Arwin, aruh, and elena followed him closely.
[8 months later]
Aidris stood in front of his three students, who, according to him, were ready to go back to the real world as they've mastered all they needed to know concerning the ways of the shadow warriors.
During the last 8 months, they've lived among the true shadow warriors, learning their way of life. once every week master Aidris will set up a friendly spar between his students and some local vampires in the settlement.
during the remaining days of the week, elena, arwin, and aruh all took turns in challenging Aidris in battle.
sometimes, he would create an entire army of darkness for his students to battle against.
during this period, Aidris became more than just a teacher to his students, as they now shared a much closer bond between them.
For Elena, Aidris was a teacher and a friend. for arwin, he was like a second father figure, and for aruh, he was a mentor and a guardian.
during their stay in the settlement, Elena and the others got to understand why the shadow warriors were living on a different planet from the other vampires.
How they were betrayed by their kins and why they needed to stay in the shadow without revealing themselves.
during this time, they also came to understand that Aidris and the other shadow warriors had plans to someday exact their revenge on those who betrayed them a long time ago.
As a result, they had all vowed to come to the aid of their master Aidris if he ever needed them in his quest of revenge.
Before sending them back to Zastlevania, he gave each and every one of them a blood flask, to which he instructed them to only use its contents in extreme situations.
Eleana , Aruh, and Arwin finally activated a shadow warp orb as they were teleported back to Zastlevania. For the first time in his long life, Aidris felt very empty. especially while watching them leave.
When they finally arrived in zastlevania, Elena and her friends were in for a big shock. their shadow warp orb had teleported them to Aidris apartment in the 3rd city, which used to be Alacad's.
the city used to be a peaceful place, with vampires going about their daily lives while engaging in various activities.
the current 3rd city was like a city preparing for war. there were soldiers matching on the streets, and war ships could be seen up in the sky.
Elena tried contacting zareth, but all her efforts were unsuccessful. she then decided it would be best for every one of them to go back to their various homes.
Arwin decided to return back to the first kingdom while elena used the nairest teleportation stop as she decided to visit alacad in the city of kings. Aruh finally decided to return to his own city after he was left alone by his friends.
