Rescue mission.

During their stay at the Inn, Zareth and Elena filled each other in on their various experiences during the previous year.
They also came up with several rescue plans while waiting for God eyes to scout and also spy on their enemies in order for them to be able to rescue Emiera and Lydia easily.
After two days of scouting and spying on the enemies, Elena summoned God eyes back to the Inn as she listened to to Crystal's report.

From which she was sure that Lord Raven was currently present in the third city Although the crystal was unable to notice or gather any information about Lydia and Emiera.
This left a sour taste at Elena's mouth, as she genuinely had a bad feeling about the entire situation.

Left with no choice, they decided to confront the city Lord about the whereabouts of their friends.

Back in the 3rd city, Lord Raven was having the time of his life as he read through the war reports, he was grinning from ear to ear as his plans of spreading chaos in the vampire settlements was at an all time high.

The vampires were dying by the thousands in the war against the humans and Asura [Lord Raven] being the divine of chaos was benefiting from all the chaos and war.

To crown it all up, seeing maacah's greatest creations die daily was satisfactory and Asura could do this all day.

"Just you wait Maacah, after regaining back my full power, I'll kill every last one of your puny little bloodsucking leeches before killing you."

Asura [Lord Raden's] thoughts was interrupted by a loud but yet somewhat familiar voice.

The voice was heard by everyone present in the castle irrespective of their current location and this drew the attention of many including the guards and servants.

"And who dare barge into my palace unannounced and uninvited? " Lord Raden asked a question of his own before looking through the window to see none other than Elena and zareth were standing at the Royal Garden just outside the Palace.

Without wasting any time he made his way towards them with a wide grin on his face the entire time with his fangs on full display.

This must be my lucky day! Asura thought to himself as he was full of joy since the two morons were foolish enough to deliver themselves to him in a golden platter.

If they thought they would be rescuing anyone today then they were seriously mistaken.

And he was goings to have a fun filles day toiling with both of them.

A true vampire would have stood his ground and sacrifice himself for his companions but not only did you prove to be useless, you also sacrificed your friends for your survival.

The fact that Lord Raden had talked about zareth not sacrificing himself for his friends opened up a fresh wound that was yet to heal.

So many times he had wished he was the one who stayed behind in the 3rd city while Lydia and Emeira had escaped.

Seeing the negative effects his words had on zareth, Raden was grinning from ear to ear to the point where he was unable to hold in his laughter as he began laughing maniacally.

Seeing this, elena released her aura without holding back as she activated mind of darkness as she began instilling fear into Raden's mind.
For a moment everything seems to be going as planned as Lord raden fell on both knees with his facial expression filled with fear and terror.
The next moment he began laughing maniacally as he stood to his feet. "I must admit that you're good kid! But using a skill like that on me is a complete waste of time.

Without wasting time to explain further, Lord Raden countered Elena's attack with a similar ability of his.
Mind of chaos has been activated. Upon activating his own skill, Lord Raden Began instilling fear into both Elena and zareth as he also began using his power to control both of them into fighting one another while he literally got himself a popcorn as he took a seat while watching Elena and zareth fight with one another.

Manipulating them into using their strongest attacks on one another from the start Elena and zareth both dealt fatal blows at each other without being able to hold back.

Elena activated her domain of darkness skills with the intention to trap zareth in her domain where she would have the absolute authority.
But much to her horror zareth reacted much faster than her as he cancelled out her attack by using the void element and also trapping her on a void space of his own.

While Elena was trapped in zareth's void space she was vulnerable to his attacks as zareth could willed into existence and also destroyed whatever he wanted while in this space.

Creating thousands of small energy bullets he pierced elena from all directions in a matter of seconds as she received several notifications informing her of the rapid decrease of her hp and energy points.

[Arrrrghhhhhhh ]Elena let out a terrifying dragon roar that sent shivers down zareths spine as she activated dragon roar thereby petrifying zareth for split seconds.

She quickly used this to her advantage as she began hauling several deadly attacks of her own at zareth in an attempt to regain the upper hand in the battle.

The moment zareth regained himself he quickly activated his skill Detonate as he blasted elena out of his void space with great force sending her flying backwards.

The moment her back made contact with the ground she spurted a mouth full of blood. Seeing that they were both at the bring of killing themselves, Lord raden decided to temporarily halt the battle by controlling them to stop.

When he arrived in front of them he smiled as he took in the battle scene once more. " You see weaklings I really don't need to raise a finger to kill you guys as you're both beneath me."

Now before you meet your end, I have a present for the both of u. With that a projection screen appeared in front of them and they both saw a recording of the gruesome way Lord raden had used in torturing Emiera and Lydia.

From plucking off their fingernails to cutting off parts of their bodies daily before killing them in a way that made them look like criminals that had committed treason.

Why? Why? Why them? Why did you kill them? What did they ever do to you? They were both simple vampires who wanted to leave a simple but normal lives.

Why did you have to kill them like criminals whyyyyy? Elena asked as tears ran down her cheeks.

Seeing this, Lord raden began laughing uncontrollably. some how, seeing Elena and zareth like this gave him an odd feeling of satisfaction.

While he was still laughing like a maniac Elena's eyes began emitting a crimson coloured glow as she made her resolve to kill the bastard once and for all.

Willing mana to her legs and fists she took a fighting stance as she reach into her storage ring while taking out a blood flask and her claymore simultaneously.

Seeing this, Lord raden decided to use his ability to control Elena once more but to his surprise he was unable to control her.

Knowing he could no longer avoid getting his hands dirty like before, he too took a battle stance as he decided to also take the battle seriously after he felt the profound killing intent that was sipping out from Elena's aura.
