C1 A New Start

While waiting for my brothers to come to my room and bother me again, I continued laying out and writing the theories from my past life to try and make sense of my situation.

So far, the theory with the highest feasibility was the reincarnation theory based on the novels I read in the past.

But I also took into the account the possibility of being trapped in a virtual world or maybe I'm currently in a coma. Though both of them has low possibilities of being the case as I concluded based on my experience in the past week that this is very much real.

Though it's not bad to be cautious and that's why I'm currently surfing the internet.

"If I'm in a coma, then the things that would be in the internet would be quite limited to only what I knew."

I continued searching again for things that did not exist in my past life. I just started searching earlier as I was busy getting used to my life as a three year old girl. Don't blame me for taking nearly a week to get used to it, I'm a normal person and of course I was straight.

Anyways, minutes and hours passed and I discovered more evidences that proves that I am definitely not in a coma. There was this anime called "Garden of Lies" that is apparently extremely popular.

There's also the presence of my current family, the Nanami Conglomerate. There was nothing like this in my past life neither.

With so many things proving that I am definitely not in a coma, that left me the possibility of this being a virtual reality world or being reincarnated. I would like to get the VR theory out of the window because it's so unlikely to happen due to my past world's scientific level. And in the unlikely event that it was possible, why would they choose a mediocre pathetic lonely guy to test the tech first.

That leaves me with only the reincarnation theory and it is also the best. Because my wish of living a new life was granted and that's the best, except that I'm a girl, but I wouldn't want to be choosy. At least I'm not dead or stuck in some kind of hell in the afterlife like I imagined.

I looked at the door and before glancing at the window to look at the black night sky outside, "It had been hours and he didn't come. I bet he's busy with some things or he got occupied with Francois. Though this will be the last time he'll see me for a while."

That's right, I'm leaving. Tomorrow I will leave with my mother. Mom is just a bar waitress and I am but an illegal child so I don't have any right to the Nanami family business.

|| Nanami Family Mansion Gates ||

In this breezy morning I waited in the car for my mother. She was talking with my father about me, I bet.

No one knows about me except the old butler who took care of me, my father, Ryusui and probably Sai because I think Ryusui told him about myself. I didn't see Ryusui earlier though, I think he's still asleep.

Now that I'm sitting in the car, I feel a little sad leaving. Maybe because even though I had only been here for a week, with most time I spent acting like a child (which I literally am), he took care of me and entertained me like an older brother would. In my past life I was the older brother so this is kinda new to me.

Not long after, my mother arrived. She looked at me and noticed the look on my face.

"Don't be sad, Yuki-chan. You can see your big brother in the future when you grow up, okay." My mother said with a gentle look on her face.

I looked sideways to avoid her gaze and said, "I won't miss him."

My mother giggled and then gently caressed my head as she said, "Yes, yes. You won't."

The car then slowly drove and left the Nanami Mansion. Looking at the slowly fading silhouette of the mansion, although I didn't spend much time inside it, I still would miss being fed by those sexy maids and that amicable old butler.

|——•Ryusui PoV•——|

"Let's go, let's go! Sai! Come on!" I dragged my elder brother with me in the hallways as I excitedly ran.

My brother looked at me awkwardly and asked me, "Why are you so excited? Did something happen?"

"Haha! I discovered yesterday that our little sister was a genius! I bet she would go along with you well, Hahaha!" Ryusui said with glimmer in his eyes as he remembered his sister's image yesterday.

It was a pity that he could only go now because he was occupied with his classes yesterday.

"I already said I'm not a genius!"

"Haha! No more talking, let's just go visit our sister." Ryusui said with finality ignoring Sai's words.

Not long after, they arrived in front of their little sister's room. But Ryusui was confused now because he always saw the old butler guarding the door in the past but now, he's not here.

Shrugging off his thoughts, Ryusui just opened the door and said, "Haha! Hello little sister! I'm here now as promised!"

But as soon as he looked around, he can't find his little sister anywhere. He was confused. He thought that his little sister was not allowed to come out of her room, then why was she not here?

It was at this time that the old butler arrived and saw the two young masters in the room.

"Young Master Sai, Young Master Ryusui, are you looking for the little miss? If so, she already left the mansion an hour ago."

"W-When will she be back?" Sai asked the old butler as he was also quite curious about this little sister of his that he hadn't met yet.

"When will she be back? She won't be coming back. She left with her mother to live somewhere else overseas." The old butler replied.

"That—" Ryusui was shocked as he didn't expect that to be the case. "Do you know where they are?"

"I don't know. I think the Master knows." The old butler said as he shook his head.

Clenching his fist, Ryusui had a determined as he swore to himself, "I will come to you in the future. I desire all things in the world and you will help me achieve it."
