III - the dreamworld and the gods

Jacob wearily sat on the floor, his eyes slowly shut, his muscles relaxed, and he set foot into the dreamworld. Jacob was shocked at his surroundings. Every perceivable direction was cataclysmically and endlessly dark.

Four giant figures descended from the sky in a multitude of ways! Two of the giants crashed down at insane speeds. Another giant with luscious, flowing, blonde hair simply floated down with elegance. Jacob's face was perplexed and his eyebrows hastily furrowed. The last giant slowly walked down from the mystical heavens.

Jacob squinted his blue eyes as he began to extensively analyse these nerve-racking collosus creatures. The first giant was at first glance an inanimate object, strangely this inanimate object was animated. It was a sentient pile of rocks.

Jacob started to inch his face towards the next creature but was quickly suppressed.

The pile of rocks, with a speed undeserving of his size, rushed towards Jacob with an ever increasing pressure. His mind was racing, "What if he hurts me!" He fearfully thought! The moment of impact came closer and closer as the rock thing accelerated.

Silence.

Jacob and the rock monster stared at eachother intensively, a battle in it's own right. The rock's eyes were pitch black as if they were forged in and by the abyss itself.

The rock pile slowly came nearer and nearer to Jacob's face with every passing moment. Jacob felt tiny and inferior, his brain was shouting at his body, telling every fibre of muscle to move, but he couldn't. He didn't know if it was paralysis or fear.

a human like voice appeared from the moving rock pile. "Hello", it spoke calmly. "You are Jacob, an apprentice in the Ryish army. We come to deliver a message, what you do with the information is up to you."

Jacob's brain started pulsating and throbbing continuously as the pile of rocks and his other giant friends ascended with as much speed as they descended. Jacob wailed and the unbearable agony rapidly worsened. He passed out shortly after.
