Chapter 73 Eye's Reveal

The unfolding momentum left no room for doubt: she was indeed a Title Douluo.

Hun Yu found himself questioning his own perception. Could it be that the girl who had been accompanying him all this time was a Title Douluo?

Certainly not something he could have anticipated. As pressure began to mount, a humanoid figure materialized behind Bo Zhi.

It stood tall, wielding a trident with pride, emanating formidable energy.

Hun Yu sensed the presence of a Martial Spirit, one of a humanoid nature, unlike any he had encountered before.

He could easily determine that this Martial Spirit was a God level Martial Soul easily.

But the surprises didn't end there. Nine spirit rings ascended, one after the other, in a sequence of black and one crimson, unleashing a powerful shockwave that pushed them back.

Eight black rings and one crimson.

Hun Yu couldn't believe his sense's. How had he missed it? For all this time, he'd been traveling with a Title Douluo without even realizing it.

Finally, Bo Saixi stirred. Her eyes fluttered open, and a smile spread across her face.

No longer just an ordinary woman, she could feel the surge of excitement coursing through her veins.

Scanning the area, her gaze landed on someone.

With a sense of pride, she got to her feet and approached Hun Yu, as if seeking validation.

"I never would've guessed you were a Title Douluo," he said, almost nonchalantly. "But hey, it does make things easier."

She simply nodded in response.

Then, turning to the turtle, she asked, "So, where's this dagger you mentioned?"

The turtle felt the weight of her gaze and began to sweat nervously. Who wouldn't be nervous? She seemed almost godlike.

"Bo Zhi, don't intimidate him," Hun Yu interjected, sensing the tension.

"Humph!" She huffed in annoyance, turning her head away.

"Why do you always blame me?" she snapped, though her anger seemed more staged than real.

"Alright, alright, no need to get upset," he conceded, not wanting to exacerbate the situation.

The turtle cowered behind Hun Yu, too afraid to meet Bo Saixi's gaze. Hun Yu gently scooped up the trembling creature.

"So, where's this dagger that can supposedly cut through space?" he inquired.

Isn't it intriguing?

How could a dagger possibly slice through space? Space is just an immense void, almost entirely devoid of matter. A dagger needs something solid to cut through.

When you cut something, you're essentially separating its molecules. But in space, there's hardly anything there to cut through.

The turtle hesitated, scratching its head. "Um, well, I'm not entirely sure if it's real, but there's an ancient legend about a dagger known as The Voidwalker's Dagger. I've spent years trying to piece together its origins and history."

"It's said that in the western depths of Liurnia, beneath the sea, lies a hidden space where an enigmatic city is rumored to exist."

"I've also discovered that in ancient times, there was a civilization that worshipped an unknown deity, about whom I could find little information. Although that race has long since vanished, their sacred weapon, which they revered, may still be out there."

"The dagger supposedly contains a minuscule fraction of the power of that deity."

"But I can't say for certain. It's just everything I've managed to uncover over the years."

Bo Saixi turned her attention to the turtle, intrigued by its story. Feeling her gaze, the turtle trembled in Hun Yu's hand.

"Bo Zhi, I think it's best we don't waste any time and leave immediately," Hun Yu suggested, rest was unnecessary. Their priority was returning to their world as soon as possible.

Bo saixi nodded and turned to the turtle. "Where is Liurnia?" she asked, knowing they didn't have a map and had to rely on the turtle for directions.

"We're in Liurnia of the Lakes. We just need to head west," the turtle replied, avoiding Bo Saixi's gaze.

Bo Saixi unexpectedly displayed her impressive speed and agility, swiftly bringing Hun Yu to the cave's exit, he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. Her movements were fluid and graceful, surpassing any other Title Douluo he had encountered.

"Your speed is truly remarkable," Hun Yu remarked, his tone genuine as he expressed his admiration.

Bo Saixi's cheeks flushed slightly at the compliment, her heart fluttering at the unexpected praise from Hun Yu. "Thank you," she murmured, her voice tinged with both pride and bashfulness.

"Can you fly?" Hun Yu asked, a seemingly obvious question, yet one he needed to confirm.

She lifted her head, wordlessly releasing her martial spirit and gracefully taking flight into the sky. Her actions provided the answer Hun Yu wanted, and soon she descended before him with elegance.

"Hmm... You can fly, but I can't," he lamented, expressing one of his greatest regrets. If only he could fly, he could bypass the need for walking and travel wherever he pleased.

Bo Saixi heard his remark and quickly offered, "Hmm... I can carry you if you don't mind," her expression stoic, concealing any embarrassment behind her composed demeanor.

"Yes, Brother Hun Yu, you should not waste time and accept Miss Bo Zhi's offer. Otherwise, walking will consume too much time," the turtle chimed in from the pocket of Hun Yu's clothing, its voice surprisingly audible despite its small size.

"Alright," Hun Yu agreed, then added, "But... how will you carry me?" he inquired.

Upon hearing his question, Bo Saixi fell into momentary confusion. Grabbing him by the collar all the way wouldn't be appropriate.

"Brother Hun Yu, you can ride on Miss Bo Zhi's back. It's the best suggestion I can offer; it won't hinder her, and she can fly at her optimal speed. Remember, we don't want to waste time," the turtle suggested before falling silent.

Bo Saixi emotions were complex but she thought of somthing and said,"Okay" turning her back to Hun Yu, her expression as cold as ever, hiding whatever emotions lay beneath.

As she offered no resistance, Hun Yu approached her with a deliberate pace, his hands enveloping her neck with a tender touch as he prepared for their journey together.

Bo Saixi soared through the sky, guided by the turtle. With each passing moment, she felt Hun Tian's hands around her neck, holding her close as they moved forward. His head rested on her shoulder, his warm breath brushing against her ear, stirring a sense of closeness that tingled through her veins.

A faint blush crept onto her cheeks..

As they descended to the earth. Slowly, Hun Yu's hands released their hold on her, Unaware of the subtle change in her demeanor, the fluttering of her heart.

Hun Yu stood still, his brow furrowed with an unspoken unease, a sense of distress for some reason.

Bo Saixi gazed at him with concern, her eyes searching his face for any sign of distress. "Are you alright, Hun Tian?" she asked, her voice filled with gentle concern.

"I'm... fine," he replied, his attention drifting towards the distant horizon where the sea met the sky.

In his previous life, he had never laid eyes on the ocean in person, only through television screen or the descriptions of others. Now, with the vast expanse of the sea spread out before him.

In a moment of impulse, he removed his blindfold.

Even Bo Saixi couldn't help but cast a curious glance at him. Previously, she refrained from prying into the reason behind Hun Yu's blindfold, respecting his privacy. However, now, intrigued by his actions, she sensed an opportunity to catch a glimpse of the eyes of this bad guy.

Hun Yu opened his eyes, hopeful to find even the slightest return of his eyesight. However, as he opened his beautiful eyes, golden irises emerged, adding an hint of royalty to his aura.

Bo Saixi was surprised by the sight of Hun Tian's uncovered eyes. They were unexpectedly attractive, leaving her wondering why he always kept them hidden. One thought crossed her mind, perhaps he did it to shield them from theives who might become infatuated and want them for themselves.

in front of Hun Yu, there was only darkness. Despite sensing the presence of the ocean ahead, his eyes remained blind to any light, a realization that left him utterly disappointed.

He had hoped that with his increasin strength, even a sliver of his eyesight might return. Yet, to his dismay, nothing had changed. he was still as blind as ever. With a heavy heart, he closed his eyes.
