Chapter 63 Starting of Great War

"Young Master, there seems to be a group approaching the emperor's palace," informed She Long standing in a dimly lit chamber.

"And among them is Poison Douluo," he added.

Seated comfortably behind a lavish table, a young man absorbed She Long's words with keen interest.

"Oh," he remarked nonchalantly.

"Do you recognize any of the others with Poison Douluo?" inquired Qian Renxue, who was presently disguised as Xue Qinghe.

"From what I gather, one appears to be the patriarch of the Breaking Clan, and the other is Tang San," She Long replied.

"It's likely that Poison Douluo has pieced together the truth about the emperor's poisoning," the young man mused.

"Hmm, since they've willingly come to our doorstep, it would be prudent to eliminate them," he added coldly.

"Let's go. I'm curious to see the capabilities of the weakest Title Douluo," he said, rising from his chair.

 ...

"Seems like we've got some unexpected company," Tang San murmured, his eyes narrowing as he scanned the surroundings.

Dugu Bo's face darkened. "Who dares obstruct the path of Poison Douluo?"

The ground quivered slightly, and the air grew thick with tension. Out of the shadows emerged 2 figures clad in golden plated armor.

One of them stepped forward, revealing a glinting weapon in hand. "So, the famed Poison Douluo graces us with his presence," the figure sneered. "You should have stayed away."

Tang San's gaze remained unwavering. "Who are you?"

The masked figure chuckled. "That's not important. What matters is that you won't be leaving this place."

Dugu Bo flexed his muscles, ready to unleash his formidable power. "You underestimate us."

Suddenly, a voice echoed from behind the two masked figure. "Enough."

The both of them steped asied to reveal a young man in royal attire, his cold eyes fixed on Tang San and Dugu Bo. It was Xue Qinghe, or rather, Qian Renxue in disguise.

"So, the crown prince is really working with spirit hall," Tang San realized, a cold smirk playing on his lips.

Qian Renxue's lips curved into a mocking smile. "You're smarter than you look. But it won't save you now."

The tension in the air reached a breaking point, and the inevitable clash between powerhouses was about to begin.

"Not soon enough, Dugu Bo realized that the two individuals were not just random Spirit Masters, but Title Douluo.

"You! Does Spirit Hall want to declare war on the Heaven Dou Empire by sending their two Title Douluo?" Dugu Bo shouted angrily, his gaze fixed on the two Title Douluo.

The two of them exchanged glances, remaining silent.

Qian Renxue turned her attention to them and instructed the Porcupinefish Douluo to deal with Dugu Bo. She herself intended to confront the Tang san.

"I will personally take care of this Tang San," she declared. Almost immediately, the battle commenced, with knights charging at Tang San and Yang Wudi.

As the battle raged on, Qian Renxue stood aloft, observing from a vantage point. She hoped the knights would handle the situation, sparing her the need to reveal her true identity.

"Bind!" Tang San used his skill on the knights who were rushing towards them, and most of them were immobilized.

She Long was busy taking care of Yang Wudi.

Tang San, sensing the urgency of their situation, swiftly produced a small object from his pocket. With a flick of his wrist, he ignited a firecracker, its sharp crack reverberating through the air. To the untrained eye, it might appear as a simple celebration, but in reality, it served as a distress signal—a beacon of danger.

Qian Renxue looked at the sky with an annoyed expression.

Qian Renxue, her azure eyes narrowing, gazed skyward.

"You!" She glared at the knights who were being beaten and tossed around by Tang San.

Time was of the essence. Qian Renxue couldn't afford any delays; these nuisances needed to be dealt with promptly.

With a graceful movement, two resplendent wings unfurled behind her, shimmering in the dim light. A sword materialized in her hand, its blade releasing holy energy.

In a blur of speed, she charged towards Tang San, her intent clear and unyielding.

Caught off guard, Tang San's instincts kicked in. He braced himself, assuming a defensive stance.

The sheer velocity of Qian Renxue's attack left him with minimal options; evasion was futile.

The impact was brutal. Tang San was hurled backward, crashing into a stone wall with a bone-jarring thud. Dust and debris filled the air as he struggled to regain his composure, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.

With gritted teeth and unwavering resolve, he locked eyes with Xue Qinhe "The Crown Prince conceals his abilities well," he remarked, a hint of admiration underlying his words. "Who would have thought you possessed such formidable skills?"

determined glint in his eyes, Tang San activated his 4th spirit ring. "Blue Silver prison!" he shouted, sending forth a flurry of blue silver vines toward Qian Renxue.

The tendrils moved with incredible speed, aiming to ensnare their target.

However, Qian Renxue was no ordinary opponent. With a flap of her golden wings, she soared into the air, effortlessly evading the oncoming vines.

Her Angelic Domain continued to radiate its golden glow, suppressing the surrounding energy and weakening Tang San's spirit power.

Tang San gritted his teeth, realizing the gravity of his situation. "This isn't Xue Qinghe... How can a Swan Spirit possess a domain?" he muttered, his eyes narrowing as he assessed his opponent.

Qian Renxue descended gracefully, her gaze icy cold. "You talk too much," she remarked, her voice dripping with disdain.

The golden silhouette produced by her Angelic Descent appeared beside her, ready to strike.

Tang San's eyes widened in realization. He needed to change tactics and quickly. Channeling his spirit power, he prepared to unleash another technique, but Qian Renxue was already one step ahead.

With a swift motion, she unleashed her Angel's Howl, targeting Tang San's mind. The powerful mental attack caused him to wince in pain, momentarily disrupting his concentration.

Seizing the opportunity, Qian Renxue lunged forward, her Holy Sword ablaze with holy flames. Tang San barely managed to raise his Clear Sky Hammer in defense, the clash of their spirits sending shockwaves reverberating throughout the palace.

Despite his best efforts, Tang San was clearly outmatched. Qian Renxue's superior strength, coupled with her domain, gave her an undeniable advantage.

With each passing moment, Tang San's energy waned, while Qian Renxue remained relentless.

Just as she was about to go for the killing strike, a pink energy surged from Tang San. Soon after, a girl materialized in front of him.

"Wu..."

Qian Renxue surveyed the girl before her, recognizing the aura of a "100,000-year-old spirit beast."

A sense of caution washed over her, even as she stood as a Spirit Saint. She knew well that she was not on par with a spirit beast equivalent to a Title Douluo in strength.

However, Xiao Wu's eyes blazed with a fierce intensity as she locked onto Qian Renxue. "You dare harm Brother San!" she exclaimed with palpable rage.

Without a second thought, Xiao Wu lunged at Renxue, delivering a powerful kick that sent shockwaves through the ground. Rising slowly, Renxue sneered, "Damned rogue rabbit."

With a swift motion, Renxue unsheathed her sword and ascended into the sky. The facade of Xue Qinghe faded away, revealing her true identity.

Her martial spirit manifested behind her, illuminating the entire palace with its brilliance. With a resolute stance, Renxue unleashed a flurry of devastating attacks aimed at Xiao Wu's spirit.

Yet, as the dust settled and the debris cleared, it became evident that Xiao Wu had withstood Renxue's assault surprisingly well, sustaining minimal damage.

Frustration clouded Renxue's features as her gaze landed on She Long, who was ruthlessly overpowering Yang Wudi, leaving him on the brink of death.

Seizing the opportunity, She Long darted towards Xiao Wu, intent on delivering the final blow.

"No! Wu, get away!" Tang San's desperate shout echoed through the air.

However, Xiao Wu was in no condition to evade.

She was painfully aware of her limitations in the Title Douluo realm, finding herself even weaker than the weakest Title Douluo, Dugu Bo. With grim determination, She Long raised his spear, poised to end Xiao Wu's spirit.
