Renxue gently placed Yunfeng on the bed. "Okay, it's time to go back to sleep. It's not time for kids to wake up," she said softly, tucking a blanket around him.
"But wooo," Yunfeng started to protest, about to say that he wasn't sleepy, but before he could continue, Qian Renxue placed her finger over his lips, silencing him.
She looked at Yunfeng seriously. "If you don't want to sleep now, that's okay. But you can't go outside to play either," she said firmly. Yunfeng glanced at his mom.
"Okay, but promise you won't leave me alone next time," he said earnestly, his innocence tugging at Renxue's heartstrings.
Smiling affectionately, she pinched his cheeks lightly. "I promise, my little warrior."
Hun Yu, seated nearby, observed the interaction awkwardly. He felt like a stranger in this familial bond, having only recently discovered his connection to Yunfeng.
Renxue had instructed him to keep his identity a secret, adding to the complexity of his newfound relationship.
As Yunfeng succumbed to sleep, Renxue finally found a moment to herself. "Miss Renxue, are you free?" Hun Yu asked tentatively. She turned her attention towards him, her eyes curious. "What is it?"
"I might have to leave in a few days. I can sense my soul power nearing a breakthrough to level 60," he explained. Renxue considered his words for a moment before replying, "There's still time for the breakthrough. Don't rush it."
Hun Yu couldn't help but be surprised by her nonchalant response. "Aren't you shocked?" he inquired.
She regarded him calmly. "Why should I be? I've been keeping an eye on you since the day you entered the academy," she confessed. "I've observed your progress. Besides, I sense no malevolence in you. If you had used unscrupulous methods, I would have known."
His past, once a tale of wasted potential, seemed to loom in his mind. "Oh," was all he managed to say, humbled by her understanding.
"I must admit, if someone had told me a that reaching your level in just 2 or 3 years was possible, I wouldn't have believed them," Renxue confessed, her tone admiring. "Yet here you stand, a evidence of making the impossible possible. While I am curious about your Little Secret, I respect your privacy. Your path is your own."

Bibi Dong sat on the throne of the pope, reading a report from her spy in the Heaven Duo Empire.
"Hmm, the crown prince is injured by a spirit beast while hunting for a Spirit ring and won't meet anyone for the time being."
"What's going on in her head? This will surely arouse suspicion from the emperor."
She raised her hand, and two figures appeared in front of her. "Chrysanthemum and Ghost, you will go and investigate the so-called injured prince," she ordered them before dismissing them.
A voice entered her ears. "Bibi Dong, I've told you multiple times, if you absorb that kid, you will become much stronger."

Hun Yu woke up and sensed Renxue and Yunfeng still sleeping. "These two sure do sleep a lot," he mumbled.
He headed outside his house and sat on a stone to cultivate his soul power. After some time, he stood up, saying, "Finally, level 60."
Renxue, awakened by the energy disturbance of Hun Yu's breakthrough, walked outside and looked at him. "Hmm, finally reached level 60?" she asked, even though she already knew.
"Yes, finally 60," he replied.
Yunfeng's little face also emerged from the house. "What are you doing, Mom and Uncle Hun Yu?" he asked, rubbing his eyes.
Hearing this, Renxue looked at Hun Yu and chuckled. In the past two weeks, Hun Yu had tried to convince Yunfeng not to call him uncle, but Yunfeng continued doing so.
"Nothing, just woke up," Renxue said, picking Yunfeng up in a hug. But Yunfeng struggled and got down, asking, "Where's the doggy?"
Just as Hun Yu was about to reply, Renxue gently smacked Yunfeng on the head. "Wake up and go play," she said sternly. "Go wash your hands and sit quietly at the dinner table."
"Okay," Yunfeng replied in a low voice, slowly walking toward the washbasin.
"I don't think you have to be so harsh on him," Hun Yu said to Renxue.
She raised her eyebrow and asked, "Do you think this is harsh?" Hun Yu replied in a low tone, "Hmm, I think it's good for us to let him do as he wants."
She looked at Hun Yu, her hands folded, tapping her finger on her arm, and replied, "I don't think you understand. I don't want him to become like that Fourth Prince of the Heaven Dou Empire, Xue Beng. If I am not strict with him, he will have no fear of me or my words. Love is one thing, and strictness is another."
After lecturing Hun Yu for some time, she finally headed towards the dining room and sat on a chair.
Yunfeng looked at his mom and said, "Mom."
Hearing Yunfeng calling her, she hummed.
"Can you please make that round Thing for Yunfeng today?" he asked, looking pleadingly at Renxue.
Hearing this, she smiled and said, "Don't you like Uncle Hun Yu's food?"
"Humph, Uncle only makes the same thing every day. I don't like it," Yunfeng replied immediately.
"Oh," Hun Yu grabbed Yunfeng's cheeks and said, "So Yunfeng doesn't like the dish I made, hmm? And there seems to be a cage free in the basement. I am thinking to put this little doll named Yunfeng there."
Yunfeng, freeing himself from Hun Yu's hands, looked at his mom and complained, "Mom! He is scaring me again."
She gave Hun Yu a glance and said, "Okay, so it is decided. Today, I will make the food," as she stood up and headed towards the kitchen.
