Hun Yu walked through the crowd wearing a black robe to avoid attracting attention. He had a handsome face and was blindfolded, but he knew that people would still be curious about him. He soon arrived at the place where the preliminary competition was about to begin. He explored the area using his other senses, noticing that most of the people around him were normal civilians.

It's great to be your host for the opening ceremony this year." The host was a tall, confident man with a booming voice. He had a microphone in his hand and wore a suit that looked expensive.

He introduced the 28 teams of the competition, starting with the Tian Duo Imperial Academy 2nd team. They were the embodiment of strength for the Tianduo Empire, and their motto for the year was to "stop at nothing and go for everything." Next up was the School of Five Elements, who were one of the best teams and hoped to become champions. The host then asked the audience which team they thought would come out on top.

The School of Florals was the next team to be introduced. They had a unique approach to soul fighting and had a reputation for being tough opponents. Finally, the last team was introduced, which was wearing odd dress and called the Shreak school. Their motto was "unrivalled champion," and the host said that they were a wildcard in the competition.

As all the teams walked by, the host continued to speak. He gave some background information on each team, telling the audience about their strengths and weaknesses. He also asked some of the team members to wave to the crowd, which they did with enthusiasm.

Soon, three people appeared on a platform high above the audience. In the middle was Emperor Xue Ye of the Tian Duo Empire, an old man wearing luxurious gold clothes. On either side of him were Ning Fengzi and the Archbishop of the Spirit Hall. They were all respected members of the soul fighting community and had played important roles in the development of the sport.

Emperor Xue Ye picked up a staff and announced, "I, Emperor Xue Ye of the Tian Duo Empire, on behalf of my empire and the organizers of this competition, now announce that the Continental Soul Master School Elite Competition begins!" His voice was strong and clear, and the crowd erupted in cheers and applause.

The competition was the biggest event of the year for soul fighters. It was a chance for young fighters to showcase their skills and prove themselves on a national level. The competition was organized by the Tian Duo Empire, spirit hall and star luo Empire.

As the competition began, Hun Yu entered the Tian Duo Soul Arena and made his way inside the area where the fights would take place.

Upon entering, he was given a blue flower, which he didn't like, so he burned it. As he took in the surroundings, he was amazed by the grandeur of the place. The arena was massive, and it was filled with people who were eagerly awaiting the start of the competition.

Hun Yu took his seat and looked towards the arena where the teams would fight. The atmosphere was charged with excitement, and he could feel the energy in the air.

The teams would be competing in the Continental Soul Master Elite Competition, and Hun Yu couldn't wait to see how the competition would unfold.

Suddenly, a woman with wings on her back, which seemed to be made of air, flew in and announced the start of the competition. She introduced Lord Salas, who drew the lots for the first preliminary rounds.

The host then announced the first match-up: Shreak versus Tian Duo Imperial School. Upon hearing this, the people in the arena began to ridicule the Shrek Academy. However, Hun Yu felt a strange familiarity with the green team, and he couldn't shake the feeling that he had met one of the members before.

Without further ado, the Continental Soul Master Elite Competition began its first round. The two teams walked onto the platform, and Hun Yu watched intently as the battle began. As the match progressed, the host announced the main show of the night: Tian Duo Imperial School's second team. The team made a grand entrance, and in Hun Yu's opinion, it seemed a bit too much. Nevertheless, the excitement in the arena was palpable.

"Greetings to each team," said the host, "[Tian Duo Imperial School] vs [Shrek School]. Countdown to start!"

"Three!"

"Two!"

"One!"

"Preliminary round one, match three!"

"Starts!"

As everyone on the platform released their martial spirit and slowly released their spirit ring, everyone's eyes were on the black-haired guy from the Shrek Academy who was in the middle of the team formation. His 4th spirit ring was decade millennium old. Hun Yu also looked there but was not too shocked as his 4 spirit ring is also decade millennium old. As everyone was shocked, the battle started. The Shrek team attacked first, and in response, the Tian Duo team was lagging behind as they looked pretty dumb from Hun Yu's perspective. As the fight was going on, the guy with the decade millennium soul ring released his spirit ability and trapped all members. The one with golden hair also released his 4th ability on them, something called white tiger meteorite shower, and the Tian Duo team lost in a minute.

Hun Yu was thinking that the Tian Duo team was literally dumb. They didn't have many skills, and the only thing they had was show off and their dumb entrance, yet they still lost. In one minute, Hun Yu really thinks that they were quite dumb.

In the Spirit City, inside the Pope's palace, two people stood before a woman who was seated on a throne. She spoke, "Yue Guan, how is our Spirit Hall's plan going in the Heaven Dou Empire?"

Yue Guan replied to the Pope, "Yes, Your Majesty the Pope, everything has been going smoothly in the Heaven Dou Empire."

"But."

"But?" asked the Pope.

"I have recently received a report from the Heaven Dou branch's Salas that there has been abnormal behavior from the young master," said Yue Guan.

"Hmm, abnormalities," mused the Pope. "You go and investigate it and return quickly."

Yue Guan bowed and said, "Yes, Your Majesty the Pope," before leaving with his partner, Ghost Douluo.

The terms "Tian Duo" and "Heaven Duo" Empire refer to the same thing. The word "Tian" means "heaven" in English and is simply the Chinese word written in English letters. Therefore, "Tian Duo Empire" is translated to "Heaven Duo Empire" in English.
