Chapter 29 Locket

Master Yun and Hun Yu were sitting in the room master Yun curiously asked. "Why are you here? Shouldn't you be at the academy you just joined?" Master Yun asked in a curious tone.

"I came here because I wanted to go back to my village and get something," Hun Yu replied, looking a bit uneasy.

"You can get whatever you need after the tournament. It's important to build a bond with your teammates for better teamwork," Master Yun advised him.

"I know, but I have to get that thing. It's very important to me," Hun Yu said with determination.

"Hmm, alright. But make sure you return quickly. We only have two months before the Advanced Soul Master Continental Contest," Master Yun reminded him.

"Thank you, Master Yun," Hun Yu said, feeling grateful for his master's understanding.

Hun Yu bid farewell to Master Yun and stepped out of the hotel room, determined to retrieve what he needed from his village. As he left the hotel, he spotted a cart that was heading towards his village. At first, the cart owner refused to take him there, but Hun Yu showed him his Token of Heaven Duo Imperial Academy, which convinced the owner to take him.

As Hun Yu got into the cart, it started moving towards his destination.

The cart was travelling steadily, moving closer and closer to Hun Yu's village with each passing moment. After a long day of travelling, Hun Yu finally arrived near his village. As he stepped out of the cart, a gust of wind caught the blindfold on his back and caused it to flutter in the breeze. Hun Yu was dressed in a black outfit, and he turned to face the cart owner.

"How much?" he asked.

The cart owner rubbed his head and replied, "No need to pay, since you are from the Heaven Duo Imperial Academy."

Hun Yu was not satisfied with this answer. "Why don't I have to pay? What does it matter if I am from the Heaven Duo Imperial Academy?"

The cart owner was speechless as Hun Yu reached into his pocket and pulled out a gold coin, which he handed to the cart owner as the cart departed. Hun Yu didn't want to feel embarrassed or shameless by accepting a free ride, as he wasn't that kind of person.

Hun Yu continued on his way, making his way deeper into the village. He headed straight for the village head's house and knocked on the door. After a few moments, the village head answered and greeted him.

"Little Yu, you're back! Didn't you leave for training? How did your training end so quickly?" the village head asked, inviting him inside.

Hun Yu took a seat and replied, "My training is still ongoing. I'm back to get my stuff."

The village head looked at him quizzically. "Which stuff?"

Hun Yu replied. "That locket."

The village head nodded in understanding. "Ah yes, the locket. The one you were found with when you were a kid."

The village head replied with a thoughtful "Hm," before promising to go and find the locket that Hun Yu had come back for. "Wait here, I have to go and find where I have put that locket as it has been years," he said

he explained to the village head that he didn't have much time because he had joined the Heaven Duo Imperial Academy and would be participating in the upcoming contest. He knew he needed to retrieve the locket quickly so he could return to his training.

The village head was surprised to hear that Hun Yu had joined the prestigious academy, as it was known to only accept Nobel's and the young man's talent in the spirit master world had not been that great. But Hun Yu explained that his talent had increased, and the principal of the academy had recognized his potential and taken him in.

"I hope you can be the first high-level spirit master from our village," the village head said with a hint of pride.

"Don't worry, village head, I will," Hun Yu replied with determination.

As he waited for the village head to return with the locket, Hun Yu.

Hun Yu sat patiently, looking around the house with mild interest( not to be confused he is just looking here and there using his senses as his eyes are covered with blind fold ) . He was feeling a little bored after the long journey. He was suddenly interrupted by the arrival of a coated dog with a striking black and white fur pattern.

Typically, this dog has a black topcoat that is darker on the back and fades into a lighter grayish-black on the sides. The undercoat and belly are usually white, sometimes with black or gray speckles. The fur is thick and soft, designed to protect the dog from cold weather. The eyes are blue, and the ears are triangular and stand erect. The nose and paw pads are usually black, and the overall appearance of the dog is sleek and athletic.

This particular dog was running towards the village head house, and as it entered the house, it immediately started to wag its tail and lick Hun Yu. He smiled and greeted the dog happily, saying, "Xiao Xiao, long time no see!"

Xiao xiao continued to lick Hun Yu affectionately.
