However, this tranquility was soon interrupted as a beast emerged from the shadows, drawn to the water's edge. Its skin was a brilliant silver, and the five bluish-black scales along its body seemed to glisten in the moonlight, as though they were absorbing its energy. The beast's size was enormous, towering at around 5 meters tall. As it took a sip of the cool water, its reflection was distorted by the ripples it created.
As the beast drank from the lake, three figures observed it from the safety of a nearby tree. The trio consisted of Yu Qi, Yu Yi, and Ru Jen, who had been searching for the elusive Silver Moon Dragon for nearly three days. As they watched, Ru Jen's eyes were fixed on the beast, and he observed it intently. This was the very creature they had been seeking - the Silver Moon Dragon.
"Xiao Shen," Yu Qi spoke in a hushed voice, "judging from the scales of this Silver Moon Dragon, its cultivation seems to be between 500 to 550 years old. Should we attack it?"
After a moment of contemplation, Ru Jen replied, "Yes, Uncle Qi. This Silver Moon Dragon is exactly what I need. Please help me absorb it."
Yu Qi nodded in agreement and signaled to Yu Yi. They engaged in battle, and in mere moments, the battle was over. With a soul king among their ranks, the trio was more than capable of defeating the dragon.
Yu Yi's voice rang out, "Ru Jen, climb down and deliver the final blow."
Ru Jen quickly descended from the tree, drawing a small dagger from his belt. He approached the Silver Moon Dragon, which was now almost dead. In one swift motion, he delivered the final blow to the dragon's neck. As the life left the beast's body, a deep yellow-colored soul ring floated up from its corpse. Ru Jen crossed his legs and sat down and began to absorb the soul ring, soon the dragon's energy started flowing into him.
