24 Chapter 24: double kamui

The Ape King fell, and dust billowed.

Ye Qiu's figure seemed somewhat illusory, a faint smile playing on his lips as he watched the Ape King crash to the ground. "Indeed, some creatures never learn." 

"Roar!" Failing to land a hit, the Ape King wasn't surprised. It immediately activated its berserk mode and charged towards Ye Qiu.

"Have you had enough?" Ye Qiu said, advancing and delivering a crucial strike with a sweeping leg. 

In its berserk state, the Ape King seemed oblivious to defense. 

Splurt! This time, Ye Qiu didn't hold back. If he hadn't absorbed the soul ring in time, he might have been crushed by it. This was just a slight punishment.

"Roar!" Watching the Ape King rolling on the ground, Ye Qiu didn't want to linger here any longer. The commotion from earlier might have attracted someone's attention. 

He signaled to the tiger cub that had just climbed up and was about to leave. 

"Huh?!" In the distance, a purple light caught Ye Qiu's attention. "Could it be?"

"Phew~ Not bad power!" Ye Qiu was delighted. A six-hundred-year Gale Wind Demon Wolf, killed in seconds! 

Ye Qiu jumped off his mount. Having ridden the tiger for so long without much gratitude he had nothing to thank him with. Before leaving, he could only give him the Nine Large Intestines.

Finally, after patting the tiger's head a couple of times, Ye Qiu headed towards the exit of the Soul-Hunting Forest. 

The tiger, standing in place, now had clear eyes. Watching Ye Qiu's departing figure, it howled. 

"Roar~" Gurgling! The feeble roar was overshadowed by the undisciplined growl of its stomach. Looking at the Gale Wind Demon Wolf torn in two not far away, it didn't care about manners, lunging forward like a hungry tiger, thoroughly enjoying its meal.

Looking at the two old people in surprise, he didn't expect these old folks to have such a precious item!
