11. Marrow cleansing

In the bathroom Xiao Han slowly emptied the bottle of marrow cleansing liquid into the tub of water.

The water quickly turned green with a strong smell of herbs. Seeing this Xiao Han removed his clothes amd entered the tub.

Sitting in the tub he suddenly felt a wave of pain washing over him making him grunt.

Trying to hold his scream not to alert his parents Xiao Han was gritting his teeth as the medicine in tub was being absorbed by his body greedily.

Everytime the medicine enter his body he felt searing pain in him as if being cut over and over again. His eyes reddened and veins bulged on his forehead with pain.

"Fuck, my whole body feels like crap now." Thought Xiao Han while barely holding onto his consciousness.

The pain was excruciating, every single moment he felt like his bones break which made him wince his eyes in pain.

Every inching of his body screaming to get out of the tub and scream out but he refused in his mind to give up even feeling the nerve wrecking pain thinking about his family, Xiao Han gathering his will gritted his teeth and sat unmoved in the tub thinking about danger he will face in the future.

A serenity filled the room as Xiao Han settles his mind down and starts using his breathing technique to absorb the medicine with more efficiency. As he started his technique sitting in a lotus position he felt the soul energy in him ripple and riffle, a warmth spreads in his body as the pain subsides, the soul power in him starts getting compressed.

Xiao Han feels ecstatic as his soul power getting dense at each moment.

As this is happening the soul power in the surrounding starts rushing into every pore of his body getting absorbed at a fast pace.

2 hours passed in a blink of an eye.

Xiao Han felt elated feeling the soul power in him which was akin to a flowing river.

He opened his eyes completing his Meditation, a wave of stench assaulted his nose.

Xiao Han finds himself covered in black gooey substance attached to him makeing him feeling repulsed. He rushed out of the water and washed himself in the shower to get rid of the putrid stench. Completing his bath he felt refreshed and light after removal of his impurities.

"System show me the notifications." Xiao Han thought in his mind.

[ding.. Host's soul power upgraded to level 9.]

Xiao Han felt satisfied with his progress and starts dressing up.

When he went to a mirror to comb his hair he spaced out dumbly seeing his changes.

His old baby face was now more sharp his silver hair grew a little bit giving him a air of a young master. His crimson eyes contrasting to his young look gave him a deep aura to those staring into them. His fair skin became fairer and became jade like. His skin smooth and fair making all the women despair.

Getting a hold of himself he also noticed he grew a inch or two making him look like a 4 to 5 year old.

Xiao Han came back to the reality andvstarted cleaning the washroom and went out going for lunch while thinking about a excuse to tell his parents for his sudden transformation.
