Tang Clan Fortune or Misfortune?

Spirit Hall, Supreme Pontiff Palace.

Within the Supreme Pontiff Palace of Spirit Hall, Shi Feng the current Supreme Pontiff of Spirit Hall sat at the head of a long, polished wooden table, surrounded by four Archbishops. The room was dimly lit by flickering torches and the air was thick with the smell of incense.

"All of you have read the report about the Holy Spirit Cult's declaration of war on our continent," Shi Feng said, his voice stern. "We cannot afford to take this threat lightly."

The Archbishops nodded in agreement.

"What do you suggest we do, Your Holiness?" asked one of the Archbishop with a surname Li.

"We must gather more information about the Holy Spirit Cult's movements," Shi Feng said. "We cannot allow them to catch us off guard again."

*Knock knock*

Just then, one of the doors to the room opened and a messenger rushed in.

"Your Holiness, we have received a report from one of the two Titled Douluo, who were ambushed by the Holy Spirit Cult," the messenger said, panting for breath. "He reported seeing someone with the martial spirit of Clear Sky Hammer among their groups."

Shi Feng's eyes widened in surprise.

"Clear Sky Hammer the main martial spirit of Tang Clan? Are you certain?" he asked.

The mention of the Tang Clan immediately caught the attention of the four Archbishops. The Tang Clan was a powerful and influential clan, known to be the greatest burst power and the strongest tool spirit on the entire continent. If they were truly involved in the kidnapping, it could mean that they were working with the Holy Spirit Cult.

"We cannot accuse the Tang Clan without evidence," said one of the Archbishops. "But we can send a group of our own to investigate the matter discreetly."

The Supreme Pontiff, Shi Feng frowned. "This is troubling news. Yes, we must investigate this further. Send an investigation team to Tang Clan immediately."

The messenger nodded and quickly left the room.

"Your Holiness, what do you think this means?" Archbishop with a surname Zhang asked.

"I'm not sure," Shi Feng said, his brow furrowed. "But it could mean that the Holy Spirit Cult has infiltrated Tang Clan."

The Archbishops exchanged worried glances.

"We must act quickly," Shi Feng said, standing up from his chair. "I want a team of our best investigators to go to Tang Clan and find out everything they can. We need to know if the Holy Spirit Cult is planning any more attacks."

The Archbishops nodded, and Shi Feng dismissed the meeting.

As the Archbishops left the room, Shi Feng stood alone, lost in thought. He knew that the Holy Spirit Cult was a dangerous enemy, but he never imagined that they would have the audacity to attack Spirit Hall itself. He was determined to find out everything he could about them and put a stop to their plans once and for all.

"*Sigh* Brother, why did you have to go this far…"

Tang Clan Residence.

As the group of six arrived in front of the gate of Tang Clan Residence, they were greeted by one of the guards who looked at them with surprise.

"Master Tang Feng, Master Tang Chen!! it's been a long time, The Patriarch was worried about your sudden disappearance" the guard said, bowing his head respectfully.

Tang Feng smiled warmly at the guard. "Yes, I'm sorry. Is my father inside?"

Ye Tian and Xu Yue couldn't help but feel a jolt of surprise as they realized that the patriarch of the Tang Clan was Tang Feng's father.

The guard nodded. "Yes, Patriarch is inside. Please come in."

As the group entered the residence, they were immediately taken to the patriarch's room.

Tang Cao, the current Tang Clan's Patriarch and also Tang Feng's father, was shocked to see his son and the young prodigy of the clan, Tang Chen after months of absence. "Tang Feng, Tang Chen, where have you been? We've been worried sick about you," he exclaimed.

Tang Feng then began to recount their journey, leaving out all the events that happened after being saved by the Auspicious Spirit Beasts. Ye Tian and Xu Yue also chimed in, adding their own perspectives to the story.

Tang Cao listened intently to his son's story, nodding thoughtfully. "I see. It's good that you managed to survive. But what about these people you brought with you? you should introduce me to them" he asked, gesturing towards Ye Tian and the others.

"Ah Yes Father, this is Xu Yue and Shu Min. With their help, we managed to take the Darkness Bell Douluo," Tang Feng said, gesturing towards the two. He made an alibi for this particular reason.

"You killed the Shadow Bell Douluo?!" asked Tang Cao incredulously.

Tang Feng nodded and handed over the Spirit Bone. "Although we couldn't receive her corpse for some reason, this is what she left behind" said Tang Feng as he remembered the incident where the Shadow Bell Douluo reduced to dust by the Three Eyed Golden Lion, Xiao Qin.

Tang Cao looked at the Spirit Bone that Tang Feng handed over. His eyes widened in surprise. "Well done, my son," he said, patting Tang Feng on the back.

As Tang Cao examined the Spirit Bone carefully, he was impressed by the group's strength and bravery. "I see," said Tang Cao, nodding. "It's good to see that my son has such reliable friends. Welcome to the Tang Clan residence."

"Thank you, patriarch," said both Shu Min and Xu Yue, while bowing politely.

Tang Cao then turned to the others. "And who are these two young ones, are they twins?" he asked, looking at Ye Tian and Xiao Qin who looked alike since they had the quite similar golden hair color.

"They are Xu Tian and Xu Qin from the Xu Clan, same as Xu Yue, Father," Tang Feng explained.

Ye Tian and the others had already discussed about what identity they should use once they arrived in Heaven Dou Empire. Then, Ye Tian and Xiao Qin had agreed to use the surname Xu for their new identities.

*Knock* Knock*

As they discussed their next steps, a knock came at the door. An investigation team from the Spirit Hall had arrived, requesting to speak with Tang Cao.

Tang Cao's expression became more serious as he received the messenger. "What brings the Spirit Hall to our doorstep?" he asked.

*BAM*

*Swosshh*

A man with a tremendous aura slammed the door as he walked in.

`This aura… a Titled Douluo?` thought Ye Tian as he was shocked inwardly!
