Close to the entrance of the middle region, a terrifying, burly creature with black fur emitting a slight golden glow and standing almost 3 meters tall, guards the area as if waiting for someone.

The identity of this burly creature is the 800-year-old Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear, who holds a grudge against Wang Shòu after his beloved Spirit Honeycomb was stolen and eaten in front of him.

"Grrrr...." (That damn yellow mouse...I will slaughter that creature when I see it!!)

Bursting with intense killing intent, it's evident that the extent of his hatred has led him to guard the entrance of the middle region for a whole month to seek revenge.

With just his aura and reputation as the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear, he scares away all nearby spirit beasts that live in the area.

Grumbling, the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear suddenly notices a peculiar sound nearby.

It sounds like...

~You know the rules and so do I (English)~

"Snort?..." (Hm? What's that sound?)

The Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear has never heard this sound before. While he can understand human languages to a certain extent, this is the first time he's encountered this sound, and for some reason, he feels like someone is... trolling him?

Tilting his head in confusion, the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear walks toward the source of the sound.

After walking for a while, the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear looks around before tilting his head again.

"Snort?" (Huh? The sound is gone, was that my imagination?)

Before the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear could think, the strange sound, this time with added music, returns.

~Never gonna give you up~

~Never gonna let you down~

~Never gonna run around and desert you~

~Never gonna make you cry~

~Never gonna say goodbye~

~Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you~

"Snort?" (Weird...it feels oddly annoying to hear...but at the same time, it makes me feel good and want to dance....)

Not understanding what's going on, the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear's body begins to involuntarily move to the rhythm of the weird but pleasant sound.

Moving to the beat, the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear starts to stand up and shake his body as he claps to the music.

If a spirit master were to come across this scene, they would undoubtedly be flabbergasted to see the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear dancing in the middle of the forest.

If a recording of this scene were taken, there's a high chance it would win the Best Video of the Year award, as humans would find it incredibly amusing to see a burly black bear dancing so strangely.

Unfortunately, that's unlikely to happen...

However, unbeknownst to the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear, the creature he despises is nearby in its Clefairy form, hiding behind a tree and watching him make a fool of himself.

'BWAHAHAHA, LOL LOL, THIS IS HILARIOUS!'

Wang Shòu laughs so hard that he falls to the ground, clutching his stomach as he continues laughing.

After a long bout of laughter and catching his breath, Wang Shòu struggles to stand up.

'Hahaha...this is hilarious...I'm so glad I came up with this brilliant idea...'

Wang Shòu chuckles as he wipes away the tears from his eyes due to laughing so hard.

Almost two months ago, after evolving from Cleffa into Clefairy, he was developing a self-created move when he had a brilliant idea in his mind.

Music is indeed moving, but with the addition of proper lyrics and vocals, the effect of Sing will undoubtedly be much better. Wang Shòu theorizes that, based on the chosen song, the move Sing might have different effects!

Clefairy already has the move Sing, so as long as he modifies it a little, he should be able to replicate famous songs from his past life!

And so, Wang Shòu frantically develops the move Sing. After half a month, it finally turns out to be successful, but there's good news and bad news.

The good news is that it does indeed work, and depending on the chosen song, Sing can cause various positive or negative status effects.

For example, if he sings "Believer" by Imagine Dragons, then Wang Shou will be in a special state where the more he get hurt or the more he suffer, the powerful he become though it only last the same time as the song.

Or if he sings "Billie Jean" by the legendary Michael Jackson, his flexibility will be greatly enhanced, and once per song, when he 'Moonwalks', he'll ignore all attacks for three seconds.

However, the bad news is that Wang Shòu doesn't understand the Chinese language; he can only speak English.

The problem is that no one in Douluo Dalu understands English; they only speak Chinese. But this is expected, considering it's a Xianxia novel written by a Chinese author.

So the effects brought by Sing will work, but they'll be less effective unless Wang Shòu manages to learn the Chinese language.

'But it's fine anyway...even if it's less effective, it's still very powerful!'

Wang Shòu thinks as he watches the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear dancing weirdly and jerkily from behind a tree.

Yes, the song he chose was "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. It's a famous song from 1987 and was popular for trolling people during the time Wang Shòu was alive.

How could he forget such a famous trolling song? He cursed countless times when he click a link and then got rickrolled.

So he chose to decisively uses it against the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear!

From Wang Shòu's tests with this song, he finds that it makes creatures who listen to it have their attack, defense, health regeneration, spirit power recovery, and speed reduced by half.

Unfortunately, the stronger the person who listens to it is, the less effective it is. Additionally, since it's in English, it's only 25% effective on the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear.

But it's already good enough as the situation for Wang Shòu is now very favorable.

Nodding slightly, Wang Shòu quickly switches into his Pikachu form.

Then he quickly begins to use Nasty Plot three times to boost his special attack to the maximum.

But suddenly, he hears a loud enraged roar behind him.

"Roooaaaarrrr!!"

Unfortunately, it seems...as the saying goes, plans can't keep up with changes.

A few minutes ago, the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear was still dancing, entranced by the unfamiliar song.

"Snort, snort..." (This is fun...perhaps I should become a so-called 'Dancer,' a profession that humans call it, according to what my father said...)

Clapping his hands from side to side, he keeps dancing until he coincidentally notices a yellow tail peeking out from a nearby tree.

Focused on listening to the music, the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear doesn't care and continues dancing, but suddenly, he pauses.

....hey, wait a minute...isn't that yellow tail oddly familiar?

Where has he seen that before?...

Tilting his head, the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear tries to remember where he had seen that inexplicably familiar yellow tail before.

Hmm...hmm? Hmm?!

Isn't that the yellow mouse thief who stole his Spirit Honeycomb?!

Finally reacting, the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear becomes enraged.

Good, good, good! You dare come here, you nasty thief?! Then leave your life here!!

"Roooaaaarrrr!"

The Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear lets out a loud enraged roar and swings his right 2-foot-long claw at the yellow tail peeking out from behind the tree.

As the Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear swings his massive right claw, the claw turns into a three-meter-long projection, seemingly able to rend the air itself.

'Iron Tail!'

Upon hearing the roar and instinctively sensing danger, Wang Shòu quickly strikes the ground with his tail which has turned into steel. This causes a small explosion, and using the recoil, he quickly moves away.

Rrrrriiippppp! BOOM! Crash!

Almost immediately, a massive claw rips through the air, striking the ground where Wang Shòu was and causing a huge explosion, stirring up massive dust.

Quickly jumping to the top of a nearby tree, Wang Shòu immediately looks back to the spot he was at before.

Soon, the massive dust quickly disappears, revealing a large area of ground ravaged and destroyed, with five huge claw marks left on the ground.

Seeing this, Wang Shòu gulps, feeling a bit of fear as he shudders at the thought of what would have happened if he hadn't dodged it.

'Damn...this could definitely destroy a large house...and this is even with the song which decrease the attack by 25%?!'

Feeling inwardly shocked, Wang Shòu looks at the enraged Darkgolden Terrorclaw Bear, who doesn't appear tired after using that powerful claw move.

'Ooh boy...this is going to be harder than I thought...'
