1 Prologue: Turning point in life starts with a Survey(?)

*click**click**click*

Rapid noise of typing could be heard around a dark room. The only light to illuminate the room was from the computer screen. A young boy around the age of 18 was going through the dark web searching around for who knows what

"Hmm? Didn't I block pop-ups?" A deep voice came out from the boy's mouth as he saw an alert appear on his screen.

"Will you take part in this short Survey?"

"Y/N"

The boy was already on full alert since the beginning as the dark web was a server that normally should not be accessed. After seeing this pop-up he knew that someone was tracking him. The boy immediately went for a forced shutdown.

But the computer did not close. Bewildered, the boy tried many ways to forcibly switch off the computer, even trying to destroy the latest model monitor he had just bought. But to no avail.

"WTF is happening!?"

The boy ran towards the door only to find that he had been mysteriously locked inside of his own rented room.

*Bang**Bang**Bang*

Loud banging noises were heard yet no one seemed to hear the noise. It was as if nobody was around at that moment.

"Somebody! Anybody! Help me!! Open the goddamn door!!"

The boy shouted on top of his voice yet no one seemed to answer his calls. Even the lights were not working. He could not even call someone from the outside as his one and only mobile phone was sent to be repaired. There was no other way to communicate to the outside world. The only windows in his room were also tightly locked.

"Shit! I should have installed the landline in my room rather than the living room" knowing that he must have been trapped by whoever it was who sent that alert message to him, the boy slumped back to his chair.

Looking towards the screen everything else except the pop-up had mysteriously vanished. He knew that something or someone was telling him to open the message.

*Gulp*

"What would happen if I click no? That is the safest option for me to choose right now...or is it?" hesitating a little, the boy clicked on no. to his surprise the pop up showed up again. No matter how many times the boy clicked "NO", the pop-up kept on showing up.

"Is the person who sent me this a retard? Why create a NO option if I can't actually deny it" Shaking his head, the boy clicked on "YES" as he knew that that was the only way out of this mess.

A web page opened up, having a similar style as those surveys from different companies or websites.

[ Please spare some time in order to complete a short survey. 'CHAOS' expects you answer the questions truthfully]

[Q1) If you were given a chance to cross through a different world, would one of your options include the 'Douluo World'?] [Y/N]

"Really? You had one job.. 'CHAOS' I mean….hmm well i guess you could say so" thinking for a while the boy clicked on the option yes which redirected him to another question.

[Q2) How many martial souls would you like to have if you were being awakened?] [a.1, b.3, c.2, d. Random]

"Uhh..isn't this pointless? Not that i would ever get awakened but still" scratching his messy hair, the boy clicked on option 'd'.

[Q3) What 3 things would you like to have with yourself if you crossover to that world?]

"3 things? Isn't this like too many? I'm getting pranked aren't I?....Sigh! Well first of all I would like to have all the memories of this world I guess. There is always the possibility of you losing your memories upon reincarnating. Second, it would be nice if I got a chip implanted in my brain with 'Knowledge'. Third uhhh… yes that should do it"

After entering the 3 choices, the boy clicked 'Continue'. Already getting tired of the survey. A pop-up opened up with the final option 'Submit'. But before that he still needed to fill a last question.

[Q4) What three abilities would you like to have?]

"Let's just get this over with" after thinking that, the boy entered his desired abilities. After submitting, a red dialogue box appeared on the screen.

[XWARNINGX]

[Please get prepared...The dimensional transfer portal is opening in 3...2..1..]

Without a warning, the boy felt as if the ground beneath him vanished, engulfing everything as darkness pulled everything towards it.

"That was a fast warning, Jackass!!" the boy shouted as he got engulfed by the huge darkness that seemed to appear out of nowhere.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Douluo Continent, Outskirts of Extreme North, XXXX year

"Wah!Wah!Wah!" loud sounds of a baby crying could be heard from the hut located in the center of a village belonging to the Hunter tribe.

As a village located on the outskirts of the extreme north, the tribe lived a sufficient life while hardly ever contacting the mainland. Yet the tribe possessed immense knowledge that was passed down from generation to generation.

A middle aged man, seemingly the chief of the tribe, nervously walking back and forth the hut darted straight inside the hut after hearing the baby's cries. The people present outside sighed from relief after finding out the baby was delivered safely.

Inside the hut

A woman, extremely beautiful that could spark up wars between countries just to win her over, was lying on the bed with beads of sweats on her forehead. Her face was pale as she kept on breathing heavily, an after effect of just giving birth. Beside her was a just born child, cute and chubby sleeping after just getting cleaned up by the girls who helped the mother to give birth.

Wrapped in a silk white cloth, the baby boy showed no signs of health issues. After the middle aged man entered the room, he waved his hands towards the girls to let them go out after slightly bowing to thank them for their help.

"Yue'er how are you feeling?" asked the man after worryingly holding his wife's hand.

"Don't worry Yun Ge I am just a little tired. But I feel extremely blessed as I can finally see our child" said the woman slowly caressing her child's cheeks.

A warm smile flashed over the parent's face as they looked upon their child.

"What will be his name Yun Ge?" asked the woman as she looked towards her husband.

"Nian Zhen" said the man as he looked towards his son with pride reflected in his eyes.

"Nian Zhen…? As in 'a belief in truthfulness'?"

"Hmm" nodded the man.
