"ROAR!"
Crack*
The ape cried out in pain as sudden pain emerged from its knee, then a cracking sound came from its knee, symbolizing that its kneecap has been broken.
Xu Shuang quickly retreated, dodging a swinging arm of the ape that brought great winds lifting her bangs.
The ape stood up leaning slightly to the left, it stared viciously in Xu Shuang's direction, it then roared as it exerted force from its left foot, it turned into a blur as a crack was left in its original place.
Whoosh*
Then Xu Shuang dodged forward as the ape's right arm landed on the place she was earlier on, she then swung her hammer at the incoming left arm of the ape.
Bang!
With a bang, Xu Shuang used the force of the collision to quickly evade the remaining two arms of the ape.
The ape looked at the slight numb feeling on the arm that collided with Xu Shuang's hammer, its eyes became serious as it looked at her vigilantly.
" We have just about the same strength, this match should be winnable, as for killing the ape, I'm not too sure about that." Xu Shuang said surprised that she received only light scratches in the collision earlier.
She smiled in excitement when she saw the ape looking at her vigilantly, then she turned into a blur and swung her hammer at the ape.
"Meteor!"
But, the ape was prepared this time and swung its arm on Xu Shuang's hammer, its silver fur glowing in metallic light.
Clang!
The sound of a hammer colliding with metal resounded in the forest, as the ape only received light scratches on its hand, it smiled in victory as if it already won.
Crack*
Or so it thought, as a light cracking sound came from its knuckles, Meteor can be exploded from the inside or on the surface of the attack.
The ape thought that if it protected the outside of its fist then it would be able to protect itself from the attack.
The internal attack of Meteor is specially prepared for this type of situation where Xu Shuang can't damage the enemy's skin, borrowing the concept of advanced Haki, to bypass the enemy's defenses and explode inside.
"Roar!"
The ape cried out in pain and confusion, it surely had defended its fist, so why did the attack of the enemy still affect it?
Borrowing her enemy's force, Xu Shuang retreated quickly and prepared herself for another attack seeing that it was so effective in dealing with this type of enemy.
"Meteor!"
She quickly turned into a blur once more, this time aiming for the head of the ape to force it to defend, but, this time her wishes did not come true, as the ape quickly dodged her attacks.
She flew past the ape and landed a hundred meters away from it, she quickly turned around to stare at the ape to prevent it from sneak attacking her.
She didn't attack with meteor again, because the ape might catch on to the flaws in her technique, that being she can't change her path midway to the enemy.
A few leaves floated down from the trees around them as the battle between the two was stuck in a stalemate, the two stared into each other's eyes, one fierce and one full of excitement.
A single leaf floated into the middle of the two, and just as it dropped the two figures turned into blurs as they quickly collided in the middle of the field.
Crack*
Another light cracking sounded from the ape's fist, but this time, instead of letting Xu Shuang retreat with its force, the ape roared as it chased her and swung its other arms onto her.
She hurriedly turned over in the air and swung her hammer at one of the fists while dodging the others that came her way, she want to get away but the ape stuck to her like glue, not wanting to let go.
Xu Shuang has no choice but to clash with the ape, the hammer and fists keep clashing in the forest creating clanking sounds, which made for a strange bgm in the fight.
Bang!
"AH!"
Xu Shuang was caught off guard as she was sent flying by a fist of the ape, the ape laughed as it quickly chased after her.
"It hurts, you damn ape, aren't you just a Rajang look-a-like?" Xu Shuang muttered to herself as she stood up while touching her waist where she was punched by the ape.
But, she has not had time to be talking as the ape was already close by, she instantly used a flash step to run away from the ape and quickly appeared near Ye Lingling.
Ye Lingling instantly understood and shot a beam of white light at Xu Shuang which healed her injury quickly, she then quickly used another flashed step to get away from this place.
The Four Armed Great Silver Ape quickly looked in the direction of the sound to see that Xu Shuang had already left the place, and then it sensed danger on its side.
Xu Shuang quietly appeared by its side and swung her hammer on its waist sending the ape tumbling into the forest and crushing many trees in the process, the ape coughed out blood as it stood up only to be greeted by a hammer to its face.
Bang!
The ape was sent tumbling for another few rounds as it held its head and roared in pain at its brain shaking in its skull.
"HU HU HU!"
Xu Shuang quickly went in for the finishing blow, when the ape crossed its four arms and blocked the attack.
It stood up with a loud deafening roar as its eyes turned crimson red, it quickly punched Xu Shuang not caring if it still had wounds all over its body.
She quickly spun and smashed her hammer against the fist, she took a few steps back in surprise to find that the ape had gotten stronger than before.
Xu Shuang quickly looked at the color of its fur, she breathed a sigh of relief finding it still silver as she said.
"As long as you don't suddenly go into super saiyan mode for some goddamn stupid reason it should still be manageable."
She quickly turned into a blur and clashed against the ape as a symphony of sounds emerged from their battle.
The ape fought like a madman as it didn't care about its wounds or the wound that it would receive in this battle as it kept attacking.
As the fight went on, even though Xu Shuang fought defensively she also started receiving wounds on her body, a white light descended on her from afar and healed all of her wounds.
Seeing this, Xu Shuang also let go of her defenses and kept attacking the ape's chest, while dodging the attacks that went for her vitals and enduring the ones that landed on the nonvital parts.
And after the 38th hammer on the chest, the ape suddenly let out a weak roar as it knelt on the ground while clutching its chest, did the ape suddenly have a heart attack?
It's Xu Shuang Seismic Hammer at work which causes direct damage to the ape's heart causing it to have wounds all over its heart.
But, thanks to it being a spirit beast with great vitality and a power type at that, it didn't greatly affect the ape much until the 38th hammer.
Xu Shuang sat on the ground after the fight as she panted hard. "Puff, this fight was so exciting, it's exactly how fights should have been, pure power against pure power."
