Ning Rongrong quitting Shrek Academy

After a bunch of pleasantries, it was finally time to start drawing lots for the teams that would be fighting in the first round.

Platinum bishop Salas slowly stood and was led by a maid to the side of the officiant, starting to draw the lots. He was apparently very unwilling to speak, and each pair of opponents he drew was announced by the officiant.

"Preselection competition first round, Blue Sunshine Academy versus Purple Star Academy."

"Preselection competition first round, Auckland Academy versus Blazing Radiance Academy."

"Preselection competition first round, Heaven Dou Imperial Academy versus Shrek Academy."

Once the lottery was done, that platinum bishop Salas swept his gaze across everyone, indifferently saying:

"I drew the lots and sensed no falsehood. I swear on the honor of Spirit Hall. At the same time, I hereby declare, of the participating Spirit Master academy students, Spirit Hall will make an exception for anyone capable of reaching the finals, letting them directly enter Spirit City."

The crowd went into an uproar upon hearing his words as Spirit City is renowned as the holy land of spirit masters in the whole continent.

Many spirit masters even want to go down to the arena themselves to fight for that place.

"Good, then next we will conduct the first match of the first round of the preselection competition, Heaven Dou Imperial Academy facing Shrek Academy. All competing academies leave the field. The two academies taking part in the match later please prepare. In one hour, the match will formally begin."

And when the battle finally began, Xu Shuang yawned upon seeing the process as it was extremely boring, the ending was the same as in the cannon.

The match ended in 1 minute with fewer surprises about Tang San's fourth spirit ring since it was still purple this time.

Things only got exciting for most of the audience when teams that have even strength met setting off a bloody and exciting match for them.

This is because many of the audience are regular people and not spirit masters, so these fights were very exciting to them when they didn't the difference between the strength of both sides.

Xu Shuang yawned at the boring matches, but he knew that there would be a fun match tomorrow, if she remembered correctly, it was Shrek Academy vs. the Armored Elephant Academy.

In a clearing inside the Shrek Academy forest stood Yu Xiaogang, Tang San, and Ning Rongrong.

"Grandmaster, what special training do you have in mind for me?" Ning Rongrong asked with a bit of hesitation in her mind as she felt that the special training that Yu Xiaogang gave them wasn't really effective.

Yu Xiaogang spoke slowly as if his every word contained wisdom, "Rongrong, if I'm not mistaken, your Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School should have a technique called Heart Separation Control. To what degree have you cultivated it?"

Ning Rongrong had a bad feeling but she still answered, "Right now I've just cultivated it to Three Aperture Governing Heart. I can just manage to use it."

Yu Xiaogang's brows wrinkled slightly, "Which means, you are still only the most elementary level. My special training for you is in this special area."

Ning Rongrong's eyes almost rolled when she heard Yu Xiaogan's words, he didn't even know the technique of Heart Separation Control, how could he guide her in this technique?

"Even though the battle today was an easy win over the Heaven Dou Imperial Academy second team, their second team absolutely doesn't represent the overall strength of all advanced Spirit Master academies."

Ning Rongrong nodded yet her feeling that something bad would happen kept getting stronger and stronger, as Yu Xiaogang usually does not praise anyone but Tang San.

Yu Xiaogang and Tang San looked at the laughing Ning Rongrong, they wondered if there were any funny words that they had said. If it's going according to the script shouldn't Ning Rongrong present her secret technique with both hands?

If Ning Rongrong heard what they were thinking, then she would have burst into laughing more loudly due to how comical and stupid these two were.

"That's right, the Heart Separation Control is the secret technique of our sect, why should it be taught to outsiders like you?" Ning Rongrong asked with a mocking tone that made the master and student's faces become black.

"Ning Rongrong don't be too short-sighted! The strength of Shrek's Seven Devils will be greatly strengthened if you teach Tang San the Heart Separation Control." Yu Xiaogang said that he was trying to educate Ning Rongrong.

"Short-sighted? Hahahahaha, if you really want to strengthen the strength of the team, why don't you have Tang San teach his weird self-created skills to us?"

"Wanting to get something for nothing? Do you really treat me as a fool? Don't forget that although we've been classmates for a long time, I'm still the princess of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan."

Ning Rongrong's domineering words ruthlessly slapped Yu Xiaogang's and Tang San's faces. It was almost like she was back to being the little witch at the start of her joining.

After saying that she turned around and left while leaving a sentence.

"And you Yu Xiaogang, want to teach me about Heart Separation Control? You a trash of spirit grandmaster not even qualified to lift my shoes!"

"You dare to speak like this to me, Ning Rongrong!! Do you even want to participate in the tournament?!!" Yu Xioagang roared with great anger as Ning Rongrong's words touched his sore spot.

"Participating in the tournament? I, Ning Rongrong, don't need to participate if I don't want to."

"And even if I wanted to, I can arrange a team by myself."

"You think too much about yourselves, overestimating your own worth. Tell the dean to not expect me to come anymore tomorrow."

I didn't even have a month of break time, I didn't even get to enjoy it as 3 weeks of break was really short.
