14 2nd Spirit Ring

After finishing the requirements of early graduation with the dean, Xu Shuang left the academy under the teary eyes of the dean.

After returning home Xu Shuang greeted Xu Jingguo and Wei Meirong who were packing up things inside the house.

As they are never gonna return to Nuoding City again, the three of them packed up every valuable thing inside the house.

"Pack your things up and we will leave one hour later to hunt for your 2nd spirit ring."

After they were done packing up their things, the three then rented a carriage to go to Star Dou forest.

Three days later*

After three days, Xu Shuang returned to the loud market that looks more like a town outside of a dungeon in online games.

"Dad, are we gonna spend lots of time again in this hunt? It's so tiring finding top-level spirit beasts."

Xu Shuang asked with a sad face remembering the days she could not bathe inside the forest and eat BBQ for every meal.

"Golden Crown Jiao Emperor on the other hand is a special mutation that happens to Golden Scale Phytons."

"The mutations happened to those with thicker Golden Dragon Bloodline that leads to them mutating into a sub-dragon species."

"Having Horns shaped like a crown, Golden Dragon Scales, And A huge strong body that can compete with the Titan Giant Ape."

"It's a pity that their numbers are low, the mutation rate is as low as one in tens of millions."

"Well, enough chatting, and let's go to the area mentioned by the clan and search for the Golden Crown Jiao Emperor."

After entering the forest the three of them went to the area specified by the clan and started to search for their target.

It didn't take long, after only about a day of searching the Golden Crown Jiao Emperor was found eating a huge ox but they were unable to know what ox it was as it became just pieces of bones.

The one eating it was a huge golden Jiao 20 meters in length and five meters in thickness with beautiful golden scales, gorgeous horns shaped like a crown, and piercing dragon eyes.

After it was finished eating the huge ox it coiled up to rest under the shade of a big tree.

Xu Jingguo had an ugly face while looking at the Jiao as the cultivation of this spirit beast is in the early thousands.

"Let's go, Shuang'er this Golden Crown Jiao Emperor is a thousand-year spirit beast not suitable for your second spirit ring."

But Xu Shuang stayed in place and stared fiercely at the spirit beast and said.

Wei Meirong on the side interrupted with an angry voice.

Xu Shuang tried to persuade her mother.

She was cut short as a palm hit the back of her neck.

But instead of being knocked out she just instead dropped to the ground while holding her neck and shouting.

"Ouch! It hurts! How could you do this to your daughter?!"

Wei Meirong was stunned, although her blow was weakened to the level of a Grand Spirit master, it was not something a spirit master can withstand.

Xu Jingguo was also surprised and then thought his daughter can really succeed with a purple second spirit ring.

So he stopped his wife as she looked at him in confusion.

"Maybe Shuang'er can really do it, absorbing a purple ring for the second spirit ring creating an unparalleled record of genius."

"Wait for me first I'll take down this Jiao and have Shuang'er absorb its spirit ring, If something goes wrong I'll interrupt it."

Then he vanished and beat the Jiao to the ground for a few more minutes and made sure that all of its bones is broken before yelling at Xu Shuang to come over.

Xu Shuang possessed her martial spirit first before coming over and activated her first spirit ability before attacking.

With a standard blacksmithing posture, Xu Shuang swung her hammer with all her strength and caused a dent in the head of the Jiao.

After swinging her hammer a few more times the skull of the Jiao collapsed and the bones pierced its brain, killing it completely.

A purple spirit ring then emerged form the corpse of the Jiao and Xu Shuang sat down and recovered her state to the fullest to absorb the spirit ring over the recommended age.
