That burned!

As this is the first time Ma Hongjun was entering the arena, everyone from the other academies looked at him in surprise as no one had seen him before today, fighting in any battle.

Ma Hongjun at this moment was relishing in all the attention he was getting, as this is the moment he was waiting for. He also winked at all the girls of the other academy those he passed by while entering the arena making many blush while also earning some death glares. His looks were off the charts after slimming down and getting rid of the evil fire, perfectly awakening his Fire Phoenix martial spirit.

And thanks to Tang Ming, their fashion sense were also better than the most. Ma Hongjun truly looked like a noble prince of some big clan in those dazzling clothes as he walked by everyone, the only thing ruining his image was the ever smug and lecherous expression present on his face, practically oggling at every girl.

As he arrived at the middle of the arena, the girl from the Floral Academy was also astonsihed for a moment looking at her opponent but immediately came back to her sense, immediately getting in a stance and got ready to fight.

Both of them immediately released their spirit rings and martial spirit, giving everyone a shock. Not because both of them were Spirit Ancestor, well it was a surprising thing but not as much surprising as Ma Hongjun's martial spirit.

The announcer seeing Ma Hongjun also looked surprise before saying,

"Shrek this time sent a different team members from before, Ma Hongjun. He had not participated in any battles till now. He is an above forty level Spirit Ancestor with a Fire Phoenix as his martial spirit."

"This is truly an interesting development no one expected from Shrek, let's see what happens."

Ma Hongjun looked extremely relaxed as he looked at his opponent but this was just his outer appearance as he had learned to never underestimate any opponent, as Tang Ming had beated it into his mind.

Seeing her opponent not attacking and looking incredibly relaxed, the Floral Academy spirit master eyes became cold.

She immediately used her third spirit ring skill of her plant martial spirit, trying to immobilise Ma Hongjun. All of a sudden a lot of green coloured vines sprung out of ground as they immediately bound Ma Hongjun hands and legs.

Ma Hongjun didn't even bother to use any of his spirit ring ability, as he simply stomped his feet possessing his Phoenix martial spirit.

His figure immediately became engulfed in bright crimson flames as he bacame a little more handsome. From his backs two large wings made of fire immediately grew, his hair also starting burning in fire without any damage. His body also became a little bit buffer making him look extremely domineering.

The plants vine binding him was immediately burnt to ashes. Ma Hongjun then once again looked at the Floral Academy spirit master with provocation while crossing both of his hands, standing at his place without even moving.

"Is that all you've got? Come, come, I'll let you attack me as much as you want and i won't even dodge."

Ma Hongjun laughed loudly.

"You...!! Are you looking down on me? You're courting death!"

The Floral Academy female spirit master gnashed her teeth in anger.

She immediately used her martial spirit to attack Ma Hongjun from all the direction. But before they can even touch Ma Hongjun, they were burned to ashes. The sheer temperature of Fire Phoenix flames too much for the normal plant type martial spirit to bear.

Seeing this, the already present smirk on Ma Hongjun became wider.

The Floral Academy female spirit master was at a loss, she didn't know what to do. But looking at Ma Hongjun's smirk, she boiled with anger as she once again used her fourth spirit ring skill while simultaneously attacking him.

The obvious happened, the vines were burnt before they can even reach him. But seeing Floral Academy spirit master attacking him in person, he immediately made the flames on his body burn brighter, increasing the temperature even more all of a sudden.

Even the others in the spectators area were feeling the heat, as they were sweating bullets.

The heat was raised all of a sudden and the Floral Academy female spirit master academy stopped immediately, distancing herself from Ma Hongjun, looking at him in fear. She can't even touch him as the heat was a little to much for her now.

"What? Is that all..? Then let me end it this now."

"First Spirit Ring, Phoenix Fire Wire!"

Ma Hongjun shouted as a yellow coloured ring rose up from his feet before merging with him, as he opened his mouth an releasing a straight line of fire from his mouth toward the Floral Academy female spirit master.

She hurried dodged the line of fire but Ma Hongjun just turned his face making the Floral Academy female spirit master run all around the arena always dodging the fire by a hair's breadth, only stopping when the fire stopped as she turned her face toward Ma Hongjun but what greeted her was a punch right at her guts.

Ma Hongjun was just having fun this whole time as he finally realised how strong he had became. He wasn't even serious and he defeated a spirit master of the same level easily. Well, there was also the element suppression as him being a fire type spirit master made him a natural enemy of all the plant type spirit master.

The Floral Academy female spirit master was sent flying all the way out of bounds as she looked out of breath, kneeling on one of her knees.

"First round, Shrek Academy wins!"

The announcer also screamed excitedly.

The other members of the Floral Academy hastily arrived toward the one who was sent flying, checking her up and only sighing in relief after knowing she wasn't hurt too bad. They all looked at the standing Ma Hongjun with anger and became even more angry after seeing him looking at them with disdain.

Tang Ming who watched the match also chuckled seeing Ma Hongjun's attitude.

The rest of the match ended quite fast as in the original. There was one female spirit master in Floral Academy that also has fire resistance but Ma Hongjun took it as a provocation as he rose the temperature so much that her fire resistance gave in.

She was also the one with the most severe injuries, as she had practically enclosed herself in the plant martial spirit like a cage leaving nowhere to dodge before being bombarded with Ma Fire breath, until she gave up.

This also earned them another one against seven victories as every other participating academies looked at Shrek with more warriness.

The days passed by as they continuosly won all their matches. The only academy to win all the eleven matches till now, also the one with the most domineering performance as they won six match, one against seven. Ma Hongjun won one, Dai Mubai two, Tang San two, Xiao Wu one and Zhu Zhuqing one.

The next battle they were going to fight was against the Thunderclap academy and can be said to be one of the strongest team in this whole tournament because of their extreme offensive abilities.

The match line up was Huang Yuan, Jing Ling, Tai Long, Dai Mubai, Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing and Tang Ming.
