80 CH 80: Martial Soul Compatibility Between Gods
"The Martial Soul Hall?" Ah Li asked curiously :"You want me to join the Martial Soul Hall since you're also part of it? Hmm, that's not surprising about you. If I had to guess where you came from, the Martial Soul Hall would be my first option."

He nodded, impressed :"And probably related to the Angel Douluo, the Grand Worship of the Douluo Palace, right? His granddaughter, maybe?" Causing her to smile :"Seems like you're not just strong and talented, you're pretty smart too." Making him smirk :"Explains the surname. So you're sending me to the Martial Soul Hall to join your "force", huh?"
"That's right." She chuckled :"Listen, don't misunderstand, I would have made sure to let you join the Douluo Palace if I could, but-" He interrupted with a smile :"But only Titled Douluos can join that place."
She quirked an eyebrow :"You're way too knowledgeable for an orphan, baby." Causing him to chuckle at both her and the pet name :"Well, there's only one other God Martial Soul other than mine. Obviously, I would study them.
Actually, I was kinda worried about your clan, that's why I've never revealed my God Martial Soul. I always thought I would be hunted down or something if your clan knew so you wouldn't have a competition around. It's actually the reason why I never joined the Martial Soul Hall. I would be way too close to danger for comfort. Who would have thought we'd have Martial Soul Compatibility?"
"Pretty smart on your part then." She smirked, not disagreeing or refuting him, since what he said was all correct. She, for one, wouldn't tolerate having a Martial Soul as powerful as her's around. If his God Martial Soul didn't have Martial Soul Compatibility with theirs, she would have definitely tried to get rid of him quickly. Good thing he kept his God Martial Soul hidden.
"Hm?" Qian Renxue found something off with her thoughts, before narrowing her brows at him :"Wait, how have you kept your Martial Soul hidden for so many years, exactly?" Hearing her, the eyes of the elders widened too after thinking about it. Their eyes, filled with disbelief, moved to the noiret with suspicion.
Seeing that they already had a clue, he smirked mischievously :"Simple, I just used another Martial Soul instead." And the others, closing their eyes tightly, turned away and flared their noses. Seriously, this boy was too much.
Face twitching in annoyance, Qian Renxue gave him a sharp side eye :"I have never believed in the term "son of heaven" so much. You're making me feel all sorts of feelings, dear. Jealousy is one of them."
Smiling cheekily, he raised an eyebrow, loving the chance he got to show off so much against the best genius in the world beside him :"Why, I thought you weren't a jealous person?" She glared playfully :"Yes, because I've never had a reason to be jealous of anybody! Especially not of their talent! Now you're telling me you have Twin Martial Souls on top of a God Martial Soul? I never thought I would say this, but where's the fairness in the world?!"
"Nowhere near me, apparently." He cackled cheekily, making her glare :"Stop showing off." Before her eyes widened in realization :"Wait, I've heard that to have Twin Martial Souls, they should apparently be close to each other in quality..."
Poor elders. They felt like their eyes were about to pop out at this point. With a small but smug smile, he put his index finger against his lips and winked gently :"How about we don't raise your jealousy anymore?"

"So what Soul Beast do you want anyway?" Ah Li asked as they walked around the forest. To spend more time together, they had agreed to him tagging along.
"I don't have any specific targets. Since this is my 7th Soul Ring, I just want to find a Soul Beast that is as close to my limit as possible."
"Ooh, gotcha. A light attribute Soul Beast of around 30,000 to 50,000-years, huh?"
"That's right. Have you seen any Soul Beasts that fit the description?"
"Hahahaha, I don't think I would be alive and here if I had."
"I'm not so sure about that with how many trump cards you have. Just take out your Nightmare Sickles and I don't think any Soul Beast below 100,000-year will stick around."

But the degree of compatibility will defer the strength a lot. Like, a —lot— lot. Also, no, 60 to 70 isn't low at all, if you're thinking that. In all of history, there have only been a handful of Soul Masters that have had Martial Soul Compatibility of over 80%. So even 70% would be impressive."
"Ooh, I see~. Out of curiosity, what about above 80%? What about 100% Martial Soul Compatibility?"
"Hmm... as far as I know, which isn't a lot, there hasn't been anybody with 100% Martial Soul Compatibility. You might as well say people like that were born for each other. But I've heard that 100% Martial Soul Compatibility is called Divine Fusion. Which is badass, not gonna lie."
"Hahahaha, what's the chances of us having Divine Fusion, as you call it?"
"Hahahaha, just about zero, I guess."
"You know what?" Qian Renxue stopped, smiling :"You got me curious. Let's see how much compatibility we have." All of them coming to a stop, Ah Li looked at the elders :"Is that okay with you, elders?"
"Hahahaha, her highness's wish is our command!" Snake Lance Douluo smiled :"And besides, we are pretty curious as well to see how much compatibility is there between two God Martial Souls. Isn't that right, old Xue?" The fat man laughed aloud :"Of course, of course! Who knows how many people have had the chance of seeing a Martial Soul Fusion between God Martial Souls?! There's no way I would miss out on the chance to see this!"
Qian Renxue smiled :"Well, you heard them. Let's get ready." After quickly making a campfire the two sat crosslegged against each other while the elders watched. Taking a deep breath, they nodded and placed their hands against one another's :"Then let's begin."
Closing their eyes, they focused on the Soul Power they slowly guided towards each other. Qian Renxue's golden Soul Power flowed through her body and to her arms, like Ah Li's black Soul Power, before moving around her arms like a snake and towards the incoming black Soul Power from Ah Li's arms.
When they met, it was like pieces of a puzzle had come together. They intertwined at the moment of contact, dancing around each other with no resistance. As they looked at each other with shock, their Soul Power flared up from their entire bodies.
"This- this is..." Qian Renxue said with shock, amazed by the polar opposite Soul Powers of golden and black dancing and intertwining so comfortably with each other. Gulping, calming their excitement, they closed their eyes and focused. Giving their Soul Power to one another, absorbing the others and giving their own to the other.

"This... this is way too lucky!" Skydream cheered in shock :"Martial Soul Compatibility with another God Martial Soul! And it's actually 100% compatibility to boot! Hahahaha, boss is seriously lucky!"
Ice Empress for once agreed with him :"That's right, he truly is. Just having Martial Soul Compatibility was already shocking enough, but their compatibility is 100%."
"Divine Fusion, huh? Even my Martial Soul Compatibility with my own brother wasn't that high." Hu Liena said dryly, before smirking at Qian Renxue :"I guess just as he said it, you were born for each other, huh, sister Xue?"
Shaking her head in amusement, Qian Renxue smirked :"Ha ha ha, very funny. But seriously, this version of me is so lucky. Haaah, I guess even if we're the same people, there will still be differences between us."
Nightmare hummed :"Of course there will be. After all, Xiao Li didn't exist in your universe." Causing her to sigh :"Which is another fortunate thing for our alternative selves in this universe." Not wanting her daughter's mood to be ruined, Bibi Dong grabbed her shoulder supportively, smiling softly :"And we have to make sure that their fortune won't be ruined, right? Although I am jealous of our counterparts in this universe for not needing to suffer like we did, we still need to make sure this universe goes right, right?"
Qian Renxue nodded stoically :"Don't worry, mom, I already know that. And I'll make sure everything stays and goes right in this universe. I promise that." Smiling seriously, Hu Liena leaned on the older blonde's shoulder :"You can count on my help for that, sister Xue."
"No need to worry so much." Water Dragon King said with a gentle smile :"After all, you have our help as well. You're not alone in your revenge." Fire beside her nodded with a fierce smile :"You've got that right! Just wait till the time is right, then we'll start a fucking bloodbath with the blood of those who have hurt us!"
"Yeah, that's right!" Skydream nodded rapidly :"We're all in this together! So you can be sure that we'll all help each other out! Isn't that right, Bingbing?!" Crossing her arms coolly, she scoffed softly :"When I signed up to join this little family, I came here with the full intention of fighting for and with it. You have my support through thick and thin, I promise you that."
"Everyone..." The three women's hearts burned with warmth. They had lost their home in their own universe and only had each other left. But here, they had found a new family, a new place to belong.
