78 CH 78: I Love Straightforward Girls

The oppressive aura that spread was instantly overwhelming. The Soul Power that surged throughout miles on end made everything in the vicinity tremble. Qian Renxue or the Titled Douluos were no exception.

Even if Lv 90 and two of the strongest people in the world, the power of not just one, but four 100,000-year Soul Rings was too much. The elders vanished from place, coming to stand in front of Qian Renxue and guard her while also using their own Soul Power to try and block off some of the red Soul Power.

"Oh, shit, sorry!" Seeing the effects, he quickly put away his Soul Rings. Just like Qian Renxue, he was eager to show off to someone. Showing off was in his nature, and showing off in such a gorgeous woman wasn't a chance he would let go of.

But seeing the negative effects of his eagerness, he quickly stopped. Letting the three breath in peace. Well, pant, technically. Harshly, at that. Sweat ran down their backs as the two elders looked at him in confusion and horror.

"H-how the hell is that possible?! You have a 100,000-year Soul Ring?!" They said in shock :"Four of them?!" Putting away his shock and curiosity, Snake Lance Douluo glared at Porcupinefish Douluo :"Forget your curiosity!" Before looking at Qian Renxue who was in an understandably harsher condition :"Young miss, are you alright?!"

Calming herself down, she gulped and nodded :"Yeah! Yes, I'm alright." Wiping the sweat on her forehead, much to the surprise of the elders, she smiled at Ah Li as if smiling at a treasure :"In fact, I'm feeling fantastic. Little brother Li, you're really full of surprises!"

"H-huh?" He blinked, caught off guard :"You're not mad?" Causing her to laugh loudly :"Why would I be mad? I'm most pleasantly surprised that the person I seem to have Martial Soul Compatibility with is so amazing!"

Seeing that she was excited instead of offended or angry, like what he had expected from a prideful girl like her, he sighed in relief :"Well, I'm just happy you're not angry for what happened." After all, he thought he had just blown away the chances of befriending her.

"Nonsense." She waved her hand dismissively, smirking instead :"Why would I be mad that you're so strong? It is simply better for us instead. The fact that you had two Titled Douluos shook just shows how amazing you are."

"Titled Douluo?!" He said in shock, pretending of course. Qian Renxue froze in place. Cursing herself internally for revealing important information at a moment of excitement. Seeing him looking at them in amazement, the elders coughed and looked away awkwardly :"No wonder why the elder wasn't scared when facing External Soul Bone. That doesn't happen when someone's facing my 200,000-year Nightmare Sickles."

And once again, their eyes bulged out in shock :"200,000-year External Soul Bone?!" Exactly what Ah Li aimed for. To an opportunistic, polemicist and intelligent person like Qian Renxue, he needed to show his worth for maximum benefits. And he wanted to just show off, but that was beside the point.

Qian Renxue had to admit, even she felt somewhat jealous. That was an External Soul Bone, one of the rarest treasures any Soul Master wants, and it's a 200,000-year one at that. If she didn't want him on her side for even better benefits, she would have definitely tried to take it from him. With the vast knowledge stored away in their Martial Soul Hall, especially in the Douluo Palace, there might be a way to take away fully bonded External Soul Bones.

But she put away the idea when it appeared. Sure, an External Soul Bone was tempting. Extremely so. But it didn't come anywhere near how important their Martial Soul Compatibility was. After all, in all of the history of the Holy Angel Clan, there had never been anybody who had a Martial Soul Compatibility with their Martial Soul.

When it came to Martial Soul Fusion Skills, she knew a thing or two. For Martial Souls to be compatible, they had to be of the same level. So it wasn't surprising how there had never been anybody that had compatibility with their Martial Soul, a God Martial Soul.

And if the boy standing in front of her truly had a Martial Soul that was compatible with hers, then that only meant one thing. His Martial Soul was God Class as well. Just the thought of what power she would have at her disposal with the fusion of two God Class Martial Souls had her shivering in delight.

'Huh, so what if your disciple has a Martial Soul Fusion Skill? Can it even compare to my Martial Soul Fusion Skill brought by two God Class Martial Souls fusing?' Qian Renxue smirked, feeling an overwhelming urge to rub it in the face of the mother that had never loved her.

But she had to keep it a secret from her of all people. Who knows what she might do to her newly found dear little brother if she caught wind of him having a Martial Soul Compatibility with her?

Smiling, she raised a playful eyebrow :"Little brother Li, are you sure you didn't suck out the luck of everybody else when you were born? I don't even know how what you've done and achieved is possible. All 100,000-year Soul Ring configuration, a 200,000-year External Soul Bone, and even a God Martial Soul?"

"God Martial Soul?!" The elders whispered, looking at each other in shock. But thinking about it, it was logical. What other Martial Soul than a God Martial Soul could have Martial Soul Compatibility with the Seraphim?

Rubbing his neck, he chuckled lightheartedly :"I guess I can't disagree that I'm lucky." The blonde smiled, finding him and his different expressions and moods pleasant to the eyes. Thinking to herself for a moment, she stepped closer and gently took the jaw of the shorter boy between her fingers, causing him to look up at her with curiosity and surprise.

Smirking, she looked into his eyes :"Little brother Li, I want you to be mine." Qian Renxue said confidently, and the elders nearly tripped. Even Ah Li was surprised :'Wasn't chasing after these types of proud girls supposed to be hard and time consuming?! I thought she was supposed to be a tsundere, —which I hate— but she just straight out told me to be hers like a boss! Damn, this girl is definitely Dong'er's daughter, she knows exactly how to push my buttons!'

"H-huh? W-what do you mean, sister Xue?" A blush climbed up his cheeks. It wasn't even an act. He liked dommy mommies, and one that was straight forward like this would definitely be able to make him flustered if he wasn't in the middle of a special mood.

And Qian Renxue? Seeing him blushing and flustered sent a pleasant shiver down her spine. She smirked, gently rubbing his cheek fondly :"What else could I possibly mean? We have Martial Soul Compatibility, and as far as I know, this is simply inevitable. Do you know what's the outcome of two people of the opposite sex having Martial Soul Compatibility?"

"I-I mean, yeah." He stuttered, letting her move his head as she checked every nook and cranny :"But isn't this too fast? We don't even know each other? Even if it's true about Martial Soul Compatibility, do you really want to have a relationship with someone who you've just met?"

She chuckled lightly :"Sweetheart, there's no reason for me to refuse or postpone what's going to eventually happen in a few weeks or months. But it's not like I'm complaining. So handsome, such a beautiful body and voice, unseen talent that's even comparable to mine, and lucky enough to have acquired so many opportunities.

In all my life, I've never seen anybody who was worthy of being my partner but you. And besides, with my life, I unfortunately don't even have the luxury of finding a partner. Since I've gotten so lucky and found the best candidate I could possibly find, why shouldn't I get the chance before somebody else does? Or what, do you not like the idea of being my lover?"

"H-huh?! No no no!" Seeing the light coldness that appeared in her sapphire eyes, he quickly shook his head as much as he could with her hand holding it in place. Obviously, just the thought of being rejected when she had proposed for the first time was enough to anger the proud beauty.

"It's not like that, sister Xue!" He explained :"I don't have any reason to refuse! You're the most gorgeous girl (not woman) I've ever seen, and I'm sorry if I'm being rude, but you also are the sexiest with the best figure too. Your talent is the same. And just like you said, you're also the only girl I've seen who's worthy of me."

"Hahahahaha, I see you've got high standards as well!" She laughed aloud, easing up and smiling as he nodded :"Well, yeah, I won't lie. That's why I definitely wouldn't refuse a beauty like you. I'm not gay or anything after all. I would have fallen in love with you in the long run anyway. It's just that I simply got surprised when you confessed out of nowhere when we've just met."

"I like the clarifications, but what's the final answer?" She raised a knowing eyebrow. Smug as he huffed in defeat, smiling with a little pout :"Fine, let's go out." Happy, she gently and fondly patted his cheek :"Good boy."

Before —much to the shock of everybody— taking his lips in a hard kiss. Ah Li's eyes widened to the point his eyelids hurt, as did everybody else's. Just her confessing out of nowhere was already surprising enough, but nobody expected her to be bold enough to suddenly kiss him right away too.

The noiret was more surprised than anybody else, but when he felt the clumsy lips crashing into his with no experience, he couldn't help but kiss back with a smile. Causing Qian Renxue's eyes to widen at how the pleasure of the kiss between their lips suddenly skyrocketed.

Truth be told, she wanted to continue the kiss. It was just getting good. But she had to pull back. Relishing at how her first boyfriend chased after her lips while doing so. Licking her lips that had his taste left on them, she stopped him from getting closer with a finger over his soft lips, speaking gently :"Calm down now. That was just a little gift for being smart enough to blow up such an opportunity of becoming mine. So don't get too excited for now."

'God, even the way she acts when in control is like Dong'er.' He gave a dopey smile :"Quite haughty I see. So can I get more gifts if I continue being smart, sister Xue?" Causing her to smirk, blushing lightly :"Only if you're smart enough, my cute darling. Now lower those hands. Don't think I don't notice what your dirty hands are trying to do."

His hands reaching out to her slim waist froze in place, before he let them fall down with a pout and a whine :"Fine..." Seeing his cute, childish behavior, — contrast to his physique— she couldn't help but smile and pinch his nose gently :"Don't get pouty with me now. Although it's true that we moved —really— fast with being a couple, I'm not planning on going —that— fast."

"Fine, fair enough." Ah Li flashed a small smile as she looked back at her bodyguards. Who were just standing there awkwardly and looking anywhere but at them. Qian Renxue turned away from him fully, and Ah Li couldn't help but let his eyes wander down to her developed buttocks.

She coughed to get the attention of the elders :"Sorry for the abrupt turn of events, elders. But I hope you'll understand my reasoning." Scratching his head, Snake Lance Douluo smiled unsurely :"Well, I'm happy that you finally managed to enjoy one perks of your youth, young miss, but are you sure this is fine?
