10 Fighting with the beasts ,My book has a new page

Its been some time since i have been staying in the spirit dou forest,or how i like to call it,the forest of death.

Unlike last time when i made a run for it,i came here to stay and was met with death countless time,though thankfully each time i would escape.

Some beasts are too powerful,other are too slippery,i have also seen an increase in my physique as well as spirit rank and power.

The page of strengthening, this page also manifested on my book a month ago when i was fighting a 10000 year old siverback lion.It turns out that me getting spirit ring is not the sure fire way of getting these pages.

As for what the page does,you can see it for yourself.

i can say for sure that my strength in this month alone is twice what i had previously.

The quality of my spiritual power is enough to make people below rank 50 tremble ,i think its force is equal to a rank 60 spirit master now.

Another thing that i am now able to do is,ask my book to lead me to a specific beast of a specific age ,unlike before when the book acted on my instinctual wishes,now it is able to understand my orders.

So i have started looking for a very specific beast .A beast that is a complete fire type,no other feature,just its fire,its known as a firefiend,and is an extremely rare beast.

i have already had a go with other beast and the more tougher they are,the stronger i become. its like i have a zenkai,haha

As i was thinking about how i had dealt with a crocodile dragon a few hours ago, A huge object swung at me.It looks like a tail.

I was able to dodge it by a hairs length.

turns out its a Shadow fang,a wolf with shadow attribute abilities.

'It would be easier to defeat if i had a fire ability, no worries though'

The giant wolf looked at me like i killed its child and roared,its voice sent a suppression effect my way but i was able to get out of it rather easily,thanks to my great mental power.

Seeing its attack fail,it lunged at me,covering the distance in milliseconds.i also summoned huge spikes made of ice and sent them his way

It easily dodged them all and actually crushed one between its fangs,

'Now thats scary'

I knew i had to be serious if i wanted to win against this beast,this beast has some kind of mutation,unlike its other brethren,its acting a little different and is a whole lot stronger.

I slashed at the incoming wolf again,only for it to dodge and send its tail at me,which quickly became contorted and turned into a black tedril

"Shadow control!" i thought,narrowly dodging the attack,or maybe its darkness control

The tendril kept chasing me until i was about 200 meters away from it.

"Looks like i will have to do it,Second spirit skill

Once i use the skill,my ice abilities become truly terrifying,more so in these month ,when i am completely surrounded by battle and death.

The 500 meters of area around me turned into ice ,giving me a sort of boost in strength, i can conjure ice anywhere in this area so now the wolf will have a really bad time

I started conjuring ice spikes from the ground around the shadowfang wolf, giving it damage and leading it to a specific location,to me,with my spear ready to give it a final pierce and kill it.

After a while the shadow fang was finally too caught up in dodging my spikes that it lost site of me ,i appeared in front of it and poured all my power into the spirit skill,

"First spirit skill:Serpent spear"

I could hear the familiar 'kacha' sound as the beast issued a loud sound,most likely in pain as my spear tore through its underbelly, going forward and coming out its back.

it gave me a hateful glare and started running towards me ,watching it come at me,i couldn't help but laugh ,

"Self made ability, Iceburst"

the wolf started sprouting countless ice spikes in its body,A final spike protrude from its head,killing it.

Its a skill i made by using two of my spirit skills,once i have impaled an opponent with my serpent spear,their defense is basically ruptured thats when my second skill takes effect ,imbued into the spear,causing spikes to grow inside the opponents, until death.

The spikes are blood red in color due to the fact that they were actually made from the liquid content in the enemy's body.

i also call it the blood blossom

A spirit ring floated in front of me.

It was like any other spirit ring of a tenthousand year old beast,thats when the Akashic book released a sound and floated towards the beasts body

The already mangled and frozen body issued a cracking sound and a black bone flew out and howered around the book

'A spirit beast bone,that's what's it's called right!'

It was a limb bone, specifically my left leg.maybe i will get that cool shadow steps or something ,haha

Though first i must deal with my injuries,I jave a few cuts and bruises to heal,or maybe i should first absorb the spirit bone.

Finally i decided to absorb the spirit bone,maybe it will help me break spirit rank 29 to 30 and i can also absorb this guy's ring,its gonna give me some kind of resonance with the spirit bone i believe.

I took both the things with me to my base inside the place, a cave on the steep side of one of the mountains that was once the home of a bear spirit beast that i killed.

I sat down and started absorbing the bone.It didn't take me much time to absorb the ring,though did cause me a hell lot of pain.

After absorbing the spirit bone,i succesfully broke through rank 30 and became eligible to get another ring

i also gained an increase in my physique as well as a spirit bone skill

{Shadow lock}

{The ability allows the user to trap people to the ground,unable to move for as long as the spirit power is provided,can be evaded if the enemy is not touching the ground while the skill was invoked}

"Thats a pretty handy skill,next time i find this wolfs family,i won't have to play ice with them,just get them trapped for a mere two to three seconds and they are skewered kebabs,haha"

This skill will make my battles much more easier.

i called the ring towards me and prepared myself to be shocked...literally,i know that rings that are ten thousand and above can cause spirit masters to experience spirit shock,i just hope that mental power can get rid of it while i absorb the ring.

I sat down once again and started absorbing the ring,i was in my spiritual sea,a huge mist like wold manifested itself in front of me,roaring at the top if its lung,sadly i couldn't move from my place and thankfully,my Akashic book started releasing ripples of what i can only assume is my mental power,i could do it myself but since the book is at it,i can relax and absorb the ring.

After what felt like seven hours i was finally able to absorb the ring,it directly increased my power to a new level,

I also recieved a good spirit skill from this ring,provided the skill came from a 10,000 year old beast,it was supposed to be good.

Description:The user is able to summon two arms made up of shadow or darkness that have 50 percent of the users power or one arm that is 65 percent of owners power.The arm has the property to corrode objects it comes into contact with.

Now that was a pretty sweet skill.

I noticed the book levitating in my spiritual sea giving off a warm aura,humming the familiar sound

"Oh!you got something for me Asha"

'What! you tend to give names to things that seem almost alive.

The book opened up and a new page began to appear

I read the name and before i knew it,Some information was deposited into my mind.

Description:Allows the spirit master to recieve information that is most useful to him,in most situations

and just like it said,it gave me some information, first being that it went under an evolution again and second being the info about mental power,or better known as spiritual power.

Apparently what i have always been calling mental power is actually spiritual power ,i jad a guess ,haha.

The increase in ones spiritual power allows one to do wonderous things ,such as housing spirit souls beyond their comprehension,use it to attack someone,use it to defend themselves, helps in formation of what is known as soul core,helps in one reaching the rank of titled douluo easier,Helps one form a spirit domain.

It seems that the era i am in is very misinformed,as for how i know thay,the knowledge of the book is from the future.Who knew i had such a great book,haha

Currently i am in spirit abyss realm,when i become someone in spirit domain realm,i can form my own spirit domain,without becoming a title douluo or going to the famed slaughter city.

'Excuse me ,what the duck is this' i couldn't help but be shocked at what i was seeing,it seems i have three bloodlines,and two of them are inactive and sealed.

'Huh,i sense four very powerful spirit beasts.'

With the knowledge from the future,i also understood how to better use my spiritual power and one of them was to sense disturbance in a large area.

I quickly decided to leave the forest for now,maybe go for some other forest this time,or maybe i should go to the seas.
