Head of the Thousand Hands

Once the teleportation had finished both Wulin and Gu Yuena found themselves in a clean and well decorated office, three people seated around a table. On a couch that could hold all three of them was Xie Xie, on his opposite side of him was their teacher, and to their sides was the limit douluo he had found.

Sharing a look with one another both Wulin and Gu Yuena had an internal debate about what to do should things go wrong. Ultimately they trusted their teacher but they were both cautious beings by nature.

"Man, you guys were good! Way better than I was your age!" The limit douluo said happily with a gentle laugh, a wide smile full of excitement and faint respect in his eyes. All of them had done well, even the worse of the three Xie Xie only lost in the third round.

Taking a seat next to Xie Xie they could tell he was somewhat nervous but nowhere near where he should be. His instincts told him that the guy to his right was powerful, their teacher's respectful attitude proving it, however, he couldn't tell how much.

All he could really tell was that the guy was so strong that he couldn't even enter the reverse world when near him making him much more vulnerable. It was like the man could control the energies in the area, almost like a mini domain.

"Thank you for that." Gu Yuena replied simply, as formal as her prideful nature could allow. She certainly had a certain degree of respect for the man, reaching the peak of mortality was no easy feat to be sure.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Zang Xin, a higher up of the Tang Sect." He introduced himself with a gentle smile, Xie Xie freezing in place at the reveal of who he had been having small talk with for the last few minutes.

'Luckily I didn't brag.' Xie Xie thought sincerely, a sigh of relief leaving his lips before he took a sip of the tea Zang Xin made for them. It was really good, clearly the guy had lots of experience making it.

"He's the vice sect master." Wu Zhangkong interrupted, Xie Xie nearly choking on the tea. Zang Xin wasn't just a higher up but the vice sect master!? Why were they meeting somebody so important!?

"You didn't have to ruin my fun Little Zhangkong." Zang Xin said lightly, obviously not very annoyed by the interruption. From the corner of his eyes, he was watching the two monsters that passed the fourth level of the hell difficulty.

It was a recent invention that could replicate the soul master's strength up to 95% however those two kids still managed to beat the strongest monsters of ten thousand years ago. And they didn't win by technicality, they were about to win using their own strength.

Two nine year olds almost beat two people who when combined had the power of a soul douluo with more abilities than three title douluos combined. If he hadn't seen it himself he would have thought it was a lie.

"In any case, it's nice to meet you all. Feel free to call older brother, big bro, or any other variant. Just no insults please." Zang Xin said lightly, appearing more like a friendly neighbor than a limit douluo at the peak of the world.

"So why are you here?" Gu Yuena asked him lightly, clearly refusing his offer of calling him big brother. Even if it would be a beneficial relationship she couldn't accept the idea of being his younger sister, it disgusted her to the core, and not because it was him, she just didn't like the idea.

"So cold~. Well, you guys are in a pretty sticky situation so it makes sense." Zang Xin said lightly, his small smile adopting a more serious countenance. "I heard about you from your teacher and decided to see if I could help you all out. You're all talented so you'd be more than welcome." He finished.

Clearly, he was inviting them into the Tang Sect to protect them from other forces that may threaten them. It was the offer of a lifetime given by the vice sect master himself, there was no greater honor. But…

"We refuse." Wulin and Gu Yuena said at the same time, not surprising Zang Xin in the slightest. He could see in their eyes that they understood his goal and intended to refuse his offer. He didn't mind that, but he had to make sure they weren't where they shouldn't be.

"And why is that?" Zang Xin asked them nicely, his hands clasped over his crossed legs. He looked extremely handsome in that moment however they couldn't pay attention to it due to the aura of power attacking their mind to threaten to tell the truth.

"We are already part of other organizations." Gu Yuena said simply, the pressure not damaging her all that much as it was all spiritual power. Her spiritual power was lower than his by an entire two realms however her experience allowed her to resist the pressure on her.

"Those wouldn't happen to be the Spirit Pagoda or Federation right?" Zang Xin questioned lightly, a bit of malice seeping into his voice as the pressure on them increased in intensity. Despite not being its target, merely being nearby was making Xie Xie struggle.

If his spiritual power wasn't increased drastically by his awakening meditation and martial soul evolution, he wouldn't even be awake right now. Really, the moment he awakened was the best moment of his life. And he owed it to the two people in front of him who were facing more pressure than him.

'Damn it! Move body!' Xie Xie thought in desperation. He wasn't sure what was happening but he wanted to be able to help, even if only as a distraction, if he had too! Through his struggling he could feel his spiritual power growing but he didn't pay it any attention.

"He's not, but I'm a member of the Spirit Pagoda." Gu Yuena replied confidently, not showing a sign of pain despite the mind numbing pain of her spiritual sea being attacked and expanding to combat the threat endlessly.

"Why?" Zang Xin asked seriously, all semblance of calm completely erased. Even if you ignored the bad blood between the Tang Sect and the Spirit Pagoda, there was no way he would like the Spirit Pagoda after what was revealed by FUG three months ago.

"Why? To take it over obviously." Gu Yuena said, a confident smirk on her face.
