53 Family Reunion

"So… what are we doing here?" Xie Xie asked, his confusion obvious as he looked at the building in front of them. It was an odd looking building that didn't quite fit in with any one category, it was like a mix of all of them in one.

"Don't ask useless questions." Wu Zhangkong said coldly, not even looking back as he entered the building with his three, soon to be four, students following behind him, Xie Xie not at all surprised by their teacher's chilling response.

The inside of the building was extremely technologically advanced, possibly at the level of the Spirit Pagoda branch in the city. However, they were not able to enter far before they reached a dead end, a glowing blue wall blocking their path.

Pressing on the door in front of him with practiced ease numerous statistics appeared on the wall in front of them listing things ranging from their teacher's name all the way to his martial soul and blood type.

"Hey! Long time no see East Sea Little Zhangkong!" A playful voice sounded out through the wall, a sort of buzz hiding the true sound of the voice. Glancing at Gu Yuena by his side, Wulin felt the voice and her own were similar.

"Open the door!" Wu Zhangkong demanded seriously, no intention of playing around with the person behind the security system. He had been teased plenty by Gu Yuena, he wasn't in the mood for more.

"So cold~!" The teasing voice said playfully however the door opened obediently, Wu Zhangkong stepping through without hesitation. As soon as his body stepped fully past the door, the space element began slowly gathering around him as his body began to flicker.

"Wear those three bracelets or else the system will take you as intruders." Wu Zhangkong cautioned them. If they were thought of as intruders it would be troublesome for the Tang Sect and his wallet.

"It's so strict here." Xie Xie noted absentmindedly while wearing the bracelet, Wu Zhangkong finally vanishing from his position. It was a slow process and while he would normally be shocked at the inclusion of the experimental spatial technology he wasn't very impressed.

He was just beginning to learn about the mysteries of space and time yet he could tell the sheer inefficiency of the machine in front of him and he couldn't even fathom how lacking it would be when compared to the elemental monster that was Gu Yuena.

He adapted quickly because of the near death experiences he received under the guidance of Wu Zhangkong so he could enter the reverse world with a mere thought yet teleporting still took a fairly long time.

In the battle with Wulin, it was fairly easy as he wasn't moving however to teleport spatial coordinates were needed and he was not skilled at gathering those quickly much less mid battle, it was the thing he needed to improve on most currently.

However, that didn't apply to Gu Yuena. She could find spatial coordinates and teleport instantly, faster than he could enter the reverse world. She was overshadowed by Wulin but she was no less of a monster than he was.

Stepping through the doorway themselves the three of them began to slowly fade away, their bodies moving through the reverse world to arrive at the target destination. It was a slow process however that was because it had safety as its first priority.

While all three of them made moving through the reverse world seem easy it was far from it. Gu Yuena and Xie Xie used their overwhelming affinity in space to remain safe and Wulin simply endured the damage without a care in the world.

It was why nobody besides spatial element soul masters attempted to learn the attribute of space beside its difficulty. Without a strong enough body or overwhelmingly high understanding, most soul masters wouldn't be able to use the spatial element freely.

Understanding a law was a difficult and time consuming process, more so for something as vague as space, it simply wasn't worth it to learn something as flippant as space when it couldn't even be used.

None of them said anything to the other, fully confident that the three of them would do well. All three of them had top tier divine beasts as their 'martial souls' and they could all use the space element to escape whenever they wanted. Besides, they trusted their teacher.

Appearing in a large domain with a white tiled floor Wulin searched his surroundings using his spiritual power. It was a fairly large square room at around fifty meters from one side to the other.

However, it was much larger than it seemed as it was increased to kilometers using the space element. Compared to safely teleporting multiple people of their rank that would usually have extremely weak bodies, something as simple as this was easy to accomplish.

{Welcome to the Hall of Heroes! First exam difficulty: Hell! Name, Tang Wulin. Age, nine years old.} A robotic voice resounded through the enlarged space, Wulin appearing to pay attention while he was internally memorizing the layout of the building discreetly.

Despite his best efforts, he was noticed by two people, his teacher Wu Zhangkong and a young man similar in age to his teacher. The man was extremely handsome with long, glossy black hair and gentle dark blue eyes.

'He's a monster.' Wulin thought to himself blandly, continuing his search of the building with ease. He didn't know who the man was but it was obvious that he was a limit douluo, a powerful one at that.

He trusted Wu Zhangkong and since they seemed to be fairly close he would mostly ignore him but he would keep him in the back of his mind due to his power. Wulin would have to enter |Level 3| to defeat him and that would incur the wrath of the universal order.

A gathering of the spatial element in front of him forced his attention back to his surroundings, the space element taking on a humanoid form. The figure was man with beauty no less than Gu Yuena, a goddess in her own right, with short multicolored hair.

The man had light blue eyes, soft skin clearer than even the purest of metals, a thin yet powerful figure, and short hair that was a deep blue at its tips yet changed to a soft violet and then a bright pink the lower one looked.

'I wonder if this counts as a family reunion.' Wulin mused to himself with a ghost of a smile.
