6 Heaven's Eye Technique, Tiger and Sky

Stretching out on his bed, Xin Qing was smiling from ear to ear. He has started working on it ever since he came to this world, but it was only now that he finished cultivating his Heaven's Eye in this new body.

While movement and sword techniques could largely be transferred as they were experience based rather than transformative, the Heaven's Eye was a special pinnacle technique of the Nine Sun Sword Sect that 'evolved' one's eyes in a certain sense. Although there was no external change, he was now able to see the divinities surrounding a person, allowing him to both estimate an opponent's power and sense hidden enemies within a certain distance.

If you asked Xin Qing what he was most confident in, his answer would of course be: "Sword." But if you asked him what his second greatest ability was, then it would have to be Heavenly Laws. The amount of Heavenly Law or divinities surrounding a person would indicate how much power they can harness as well as store within their bodies. This was a critical ability for Xin Qing who was in a completely new environment with weak abilities.

He was not so worried about his self-created Nine Truths Sword Technique as he clearly remembered all the moves he knew from his last life, finally achieving the 7th Truth upon reaching the Complete Truth Realm before his death. In addition to this, he has still not discovered the other two truths, but was confident that he would be able to do so in the future... and maybe take a step beyond. Either way, as it stands, he can only perform the 3rd Truth at most without excessive strain on his body. It seemed that he would need more spirit power in the future to perform the rest.

It was the sudden sound of the door opening that woke Xin Qing from his thoughts. As he turned his head a slight degree, he was mildly surprised to see Dai Huabin, the Rank 23 White Tiger. With a tall figure, blonde hair, and clear blue eyes, he was rather handsome. Of course, Xin Qing was not so fixated on appearance, letting his gaze fall from him.

Dai Huabin spoke to him. "You! What is your name?" His tone suggested that he was able to ask this of Xin Qing.

Naturally, Xin Qing ignored him, choosing to close his eyes and relish in the feeling of comfort in his eyes after completing the Heaven's Eye.

Seeing this Dai Huabin attempted to claw at him, but was shocked to find out that Xin Qing suddenly appeared behind him like a phantom mirage. This, of course, was the 4th stage of the Flickering Step. With his sword at Dai Huabin's neck he asked coldly, "Dare to ask for my name, again?"

Dai Huabin was intimidated, but he did not let it show. "There cannot be two tigers on one mountain. I challenge you to a duel!"

The chaotic air around Xin Qing returned to his usual state of tranquil water. Letting his sword fall, he took his bag and left the dorm, "Just this? Do not worry, I will not fight with you to be the tiger."

Thinking he was scared, Dai Huabin let out a snort. "I knew--"

"You stand here wishing to be the tiger while I wish to become the sky! What comparison can be made between us?"

After that bold statement, Xin Qing has already Flickered away, leaving Dai Huabin clenching his fists.
