Chapter 57 — Conquest Crest, Evolution Of Destiny.
"..." Bai Chenxiang was influenced by Ning Chen's passionate speech, but it wasn't enough to entirely change her mind.
"I really want to be together with you guys, but restarting is the only hope for me..." She said, trying to push Ning Chen away with her delicate arms.
Ning Chen shook his head and didn't let her go away.
"There is still hope left for you and I have that answer." He responded calmly.
Bai Chenxiang was clearly confused, not knowing what he meant by saying those words. However, she grew apathetic and answered.
"How will your hope help me? Unless I reset and leave everything behind, it's impossible for me to be even with you guys."
Ning Chen didn't backed down and continued pursuing her.
"When I said that I'll help you, I truly meant it! I possessed the ability that can unlock the potential and even possibly evolve the spirit once all conditions are met." He explained.
However, Bai Chenxiang felt he was lying because such a heaven defying ability can't possibly exist.
"Your lying, stop making me feel hope and then regret it."
"I'm really not lying! I even managed to evolve my sister's spirit using It." Ning Chen said earnestly, his eyes clear as a pond without a shred of falsehood.
Bai Chenxiang was stunned. She herself knew that Ning Chen won't ever lie when it came to his sister. However, she soon felt hesitant about accepting Ning Chen's offer.
She always relied on him and even now, she still haven't changed. It made her feel upset about her weaknesses.
Ning Chen smiled lightly, noticing her complicated expression.
"Don't worry, it's okay to seek help from me because we're all imperfect at our core. That's why we help each other, to cover our weaknesses. If you're still not satisfied, then repay me after you defy your fate." He reassured her.
Bai Chenxiang finally came into a decision after hearing that. She looked resolutely toward Ning Chen and bowed.
"Ning Chen, give me your help to overcome my detestable fate!" She exclaimed, throwing away all of her remaining pride. It wasn't needed anymore.
Ning Chen nodded, feeling relieved to see Bai Chenxiang agreeing. He didn't wanted to see his friend to suffer badly.
"I'll do that, that's why we're friends. However, I must remind you that it will be painful and also risky." He explained.
"I'll still do it! I'll even endure the flames of hell to defy my fate and not forget you guys!"
Ning Chen smiled largely, as golden light started spreading everywhere.
"Then pledge your life! Become my most trusted and loyal subject!"
Bai Chenxiang kneeled before Ning Chen, her gaze filled with determination.
"I will give my whole trust and swear that I, Bai Chenxiang, will always and forever be your loyal comrade. I will do anything, to defy and conquer fate."
"Very well. Then you shall also receive my trust in return." Ning Chen uttered seriously.
A large golden crest with a dragon and sword pattern appeared above his hand, hovering majestically.
(A/N: Kinda like the crest from grancrest senki.)
"Now, accept the proof of our trust. From now on, I am your lord and you're my knight, my eternal comrade." Ning Chen declared, pressing the crest toward her hand.
Bai Chenxiang touched the golden crest with the back of her palm, a golden light covered her entire body.
A golden symbol appeared on her forehead, but it soon vanished without leaving a trace.
Bai Chenxiang and Ning Chen looked at each other, the two of them feeling a real spiritual bond between their heart.
Ning Chen then summoned Kel'al and pointed it toward her chest.
"Breath Of Spring Wind — Conquest Knight."
His sword flashed brightly, quickly draining all of Ning Chen's energies and also the heaven and earth energy.
A golden symbol glowed on Bai Chenxiang's forehead, resonating with his sword.
Kel'al glowed brightly with four lights and it stabbed Bai Chenxiang's stomach, impaling her body and spirit.
Bai Chenxiang soon began a painful process of existance evolution.
Ning Chen didn't thought of evolving Bai Chenxiang's spirit before because he was simply overwhelmed by her various complicated emotions.
It was hard for him to process all of that, especially when he wasn't used to it.
He was also thinking of saving the last slot of the scabbard's second ability for his father, so it didn't crossed his mind quickly.
However, his plan of evolving his father after his sister was now changed.
With his mind finally being cleared with his incomplete conquest domain, Ning Chen finally thought of using it on Bai Chenxiang.
It was fine since he couldn't afford to see his friend suffering severely. The one year time per uses was also close to resetting, so he thought it was okay to slightly delay his father's evolution.
However, Ning Chen realized a critical problem within this evolution ability. There was a low successful rate of evolution and It could only be used once on the same person.
The only way to increase the chance was their similarity and affinity with Ning Chen.
Ning Rongrong's bloodline and spirit were extremely similar to him and it made her evolution easier.
For those who didn't have those qualities, they will have a lower chance and those who have high affinity with Ning Chen will also increase, but can't compare to bloodline similarity.
Ning Chen then thought differently after obtaining the incomplete conquest domain and understood it's currently only usable ability.
It was called Conquest Knights.
This ability was all about earning people's trust and conquer their heart to appoint people as his loyal subjects, the knights and their spiritual connection, the conquest symbol.
Ning Chen could create an extremely close connection with other people and it was almost close to bloodline connection except it was all about the heart and soul.
He decided to only use his second scabbard's ability to the conquest knights because he didn't liked to gamble on chances.

Ning Chen was startled as he heard Bai Chenxiang screaming loudly in agony. He saw white flames swirling around her body along with silver winds.
Ning Chen found the flames and winds strange. The flame wasn't hot, but instead freezing cold. The wind on other hand, was mysterious and caused the surroundings to ripple.
Bai Chenxiang's clothes bursted into pieces, leaving her completely naked before Ning Chen.
Ning Chen gulped down his saliva, but then shook his head frantically despite his exhausted state.
He wasn't captivated by it at all... He only liked people with a mature body like Tang Yuehua...
However, he soon felt guilty of thinking like that, especially when Bai Chenxiang was struggling in excruciating pain.
Ning Chen concentrated his mind to it's limit, gathering a large amount of energy into his Sword with him completely drained, barely standing with sheer willpower.
He was then astonished to see Bai Chenxiang's blonde hair burning with white fire and changed her hair into a pure and graceful white hair.
The white fire soon spread all over her body, cleansing every impurities and opening all of her blocked energy meridians.
Bai Chenxiang felt it was painful, something clearly changing inside her body. However, she endured it, to defy her fate and keep her precious memories.
A piercing cry echoed deafeningly, as a bird flew out from Bai Chenxiang's body and appeared in front of Ning Chen.
The bird's appearance gradually started changing, becoming entirely different and mystical.
It's body immediately became enormous and appeared to become domineering with white dragon scales covering it's skin.
The bird's feathers that were entirely silver turned transparent and defined, becoming more beautiful.
It's large pair of wings were spread widely, seemingly made out of steel that was exceptionally sharp like a sword.
A large image of a clear white moon was spinning around it's back with two halos hovering around it's tall prideful head.
The enormous bird soon returned back inside Bai Chenxiang's body without any problems. Her spirit rings soon appeared around her body and started showing signs of breaking.
Ning Chen was worried, but felt there was no danger coming from It. He felt It was somehow related to her speed clan's secret technique.
All of Bai Chenxiang's spirit rings soon crumbled into pieces, but instead of getting absorbed by the world, the energies were devoured by Kel'al.
The spirit rings energies were soon filtered, purified and refined into it's most purest state and all of it were sent back toward Bai Chenxiang.
Ning Chen saw the place around them going chaotic, as dense amount of berserk energy flowed to Kel'al and then toward Bai Chenxiang, whose skin was covered in white lines that resembled her nervous system.
Ning Chen recognised those lines as the energy organ of human.
After an uncertain amount of time, the place soon became natural and calm again.
Bai Chenxiang was unconscious at her bed, looking vastly different compared to before.
She was currently naked with her previous messy and dirty appearance disappearing without a trace.
She now looked extremely beautiful, her body proportions becoming flawless and had the perfect curves.
Her chest or boobs increased greatly in size, her bottom growing bustier and her glossy lips becoming bright red.
Her hair was also long now, reaching her waist and completely turning snow white.
Ning Chen quickly covered her naked body with his own clothes, his eyes evidently too tired to even appreciate Bai Chenxiang's naked body.
He was about to faint, but endured it for a few more seconds.
He dragged himself out of the room and sat outside the door, blocking it so no one can't enter. He eventually fell asleep while feeling that no one would able to enter her room.
He fell asleep while wearing a relieved smile. A visible golden thread connecting him and Bai Chenxiang through their fingers.
He had now conquered someone for the first time, but there were still many left.
Ning Chen had a dream.
A dream where he was standing majestically with golden and black colors spreading everywhere.
A large golden flag was dancing at the air with thunderous drums resounding.
He was leading a legion of terrifying ghost composed of different races, controlling them with his unparalleled charm and absolute power...
It was a strange dream.

This chapter might be shorter than usual. I'm recently feeling burned out because tomorrow being my exam day. I haven't listened properly to my class and studied at all xd
I think I not update for two days, but I guess it's still doable to just upload 1k chapters.
