Chapter 21

Chapter 21 — Two Years.

The sky was as clear as a pond with the sun silently hovering over the horizon.

Inside a dense and large forest, there was a tall and muscular youth who stood there.

This handsome lad was naturally Ning Chen who had just turned eleven years old.

Ning Chen's calm gaze swept over the terrifying amount of hanging woods around him.

He couldn't exactly determined the exact numbers because there was simply too many of it.

The hanging woods appearance also ranged from the small and hard branches to large and wide logs.

And all of those were currently charging toward him in all directions.

A normal person might already faint due to fear after seeing those incoming woods which resembled a tsunami.

However, Ning Chen was different from normal people.

His silky long pink hair flowed smoothly on his back as a heavy and sharp aura spread through the air like waves.

Ning Chen held the still sheathed Kel'al with his left hand and took a sword draw stance.

Wooooshh.....

He slowly closed both of his eyes and slightly opened his mouth to take a very long deep breath.

His mouth was like a vacuum, causing a dense amount of visible air to gather inside his lungs.

A large amount of unknown particles were also inhaled along with the air and soon began to spread through his blood channels.

Ning Chen called this unknown particles as 'Natural Energy' because this particles was present everywhere.

He didn't know anything much about it except for the fact it could enhanced his physical strength for a short period of time.

Ning Chen then opened his eyes, revealing his amethyst eyes that shone sharply.

"Fire Stance: Extreme Sun," He muttered deeply and quickly unsheathed his sword.

An eye-blinding crimson light exploded out as a dazzling and extremely sharp sword light slashed a large amount of the incoming woods into half.

Although he destroyed many of the woods, there was still a many of it remaining.

Ning Chen started to avoid the nearby incoming woods with a fluid movement of his whole body.

He placed his sword back inside the scabbard and unsheathed it again. But this time, he leaped forward explosively, leaving a small crater behind him.

"Solar Flash!" Ning Chen's whole body transformed into a crimson streak of light which was moving in a blinding speed.

His sword became liked an arrow, piercing everything before his path.

After destroying a good number of the hanging woods infront of him, Ning Chen suddenly felt his five senses tingling and warned him about dangerous presences around him.

A swarm of hanging woods were coming to both of his sides.

"Wind Stance: Dance Of The Wind God," Ning Chen's crimson sword suddenly changed into green color.

His presence merged with the wind, causing his entire body to become obscure.

Ning Chen's silhouette constantly vanished and reappeared in plain sight, slashing at the incoming woods at various different locations with his sword.

He soon finally destroyed all of the woods while only sweating lightly.

A smile mixed with joy and sadness formed on Ning Chen's face.

He had finally completed the final training given by Yu Qian and tomorrow he would leave to return back to his true home.

Ning Chen felt sad and started to remember the past two years.

He was filled with many emotions as he remembered dueling against the three strongest member of the Sword Dojo repeatedly.

It was unfortunate that Ning Chen wasn't able to win and only lost against them.

Ning Chen smiled bitterly after thinking of that, but he didn't feel down.

He could in truth defeat Cheng Hei currently if he went all out and suffer some heavy injuries, but he didn't wanted to do that.

It was a pain and there was no point on doing that.

Cheng Hei had also improved during these two years.

As for the other two members who were stronger than Cheng Hei, Ning Chen didn't have any thoughts of being able to beat them since they vastly surpassed him in terms of rank.

The two were after all three rank higher than him.

Ning Chen was currently rank 30 and just needed a new spirit ring in order to advance.

He just challenged those two seniors in order to increase his combat experiences and it worked greatly.

His combat experience rose significantly, allowing him to defeat people with a more efficient and quick way.

As for how strong he was currently, Ning Chen was definitely stronger than his past self from two years ago.

It was like the difference between heaven and earth.

Ning Chen managed to successfully combined the breathing techniques he received from Yu Qian and his own self-created sword techniques to create the 'Dawn Breathing Sword Art'.

The creation of this amazing sword art increased and refined his strength greatly.

He also improved the original 'Rising Sun' and decided to make it the first sword stance of the 'Dawn Breathing Sword Art'.

The first sword stance was of course the 'Flame Stance: Extreme Sun' and it's extended variant form was the 'Solar Flash'.

Ning Chen also spent a large amount of time to create the sword art's second stance and he just recently created it after receiving enlightenment from nature.

The second sword stance was called the 'Wind Stance: Dance Of The Wind God.'

This stance core was Ning Chen's Green Dragon Agility and the 'Dawn Breathing Sword Art'.

It also combined the complex and obscure movement technique and sword technique into one.

Ning Chen had even the thought of mixing those two elemental stances together, but it was extremely hard and seemed to be impossible.

He had an idea that the sword intent might make it easier to combine, but unfortunately he wasn't still at that level.

His intent seed had finally condensed to it's peak, but he was still lacking the right opportunity to awaken it into a sword intent.

Ning Chen's physical attributes also experienced a huge growth as his body matured and underwent many straining muscles training.

The biggest thing that improved over his body was his lungs and five senses.

Ning Chen's lungs were repeatedly tempered to become stronger to be able to contain a large amount of air, causing his endurance to rise.

He was now confident to hold his breath under the water for a long period of time.

Ning Chen trained his lungs by constantly blowing into a gourd in order to break it. The gourd then would become tougher every time he broke it.

As for his five senses, it all became sharper like a beast and worked together seamlessly.

Ning Chen was able to sense the slightest changes nearby through his sharp senses and detect the presence location which gives him an edge on combat.

He was also able to slightly sense people's emotions and track things, but his senses weren't still strong enough to accurately sense those.

As for the so-called 'intuition' or sixth sense, Ning Chen had only barely awakened it and couldn't use it at will.

There were still some things Ning Chen had learned that he haven't explained, but he quickly decided to head back.

He was planning on telling his master about the completion of his training and spent his short remaining time with them.

Ning Chen was also hesitating over something and he didn't knew what to do...

....

This looks very rush, but I'm just feeling slightly lazy and wanted to just start the plot. Pls point out the errorrs.

And thankfully our internet connection returned back although it took a damn too long.
