Chapter 14 — Heavenly Tribulation? Fucking Heavenly Nonsense!
Star Dou Great Forest, one of Doulou Dalu Continent's most famous and greatest spirit beast habitats. An immense primitive forest that was home for various types of spirit beast. The forest internal terrain being mostly complicated, having wetlands, swamps, and so on.
Instead of the Lightning and Thunder Dragon Mountain, Yu Han and Yu Bing'er decided to try their luck at the Star Dou Forest which contained more various species of powerful ancient blood spirit beast.
However, it wasn't easy to gain the permission for them to enter this forest. Yu Fei was once again worried about their safety, leaving Yu Han and Yu Bing'er with no choice but to show their current strength.
And thus, they were able to gain approval from their dumbfounded mother.
Yu Han and Yu Bing'er were aiming to absorb their own respective compatible spirit beasts which also must possess a faint dragon bloodline. The reason was because of them being like the spirit masters from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, only being able absorb spirit beast with dragon bloodline. No one knows real cause behind this restriction, but it seemed to originated from within their Tyrant Bloodline that also appeared within the martial spirit.
Yu Han and Yu Bing'er walked alertly while inside the Star Dou Forest. The two of them of were using Stealth Talisman to travel safely away from unnecessary troubles.
The younger brother, Yu Han, took the lead as they travelled. His mental power being powerful, allowing him to precisely and clearly sense things within a certain radius around them. It also have the ability to detect the most compatible spirit beast for them to absorb.
The method to find if it was compatible or not was quite strange. Sometimes it their own knowledge, but sometimes their mysterious sixth sense was more likely precise.
The spirit beasts the two of them were planning to get should be already in the purple level. Otherwise, them holding back their cultivation for a whole entire years would become futile.
Noting those thoughts, Yu Han and Yu Bing'er went deeper into the forest as the outer area only contained spirit beasts which were ranging between white level and yellow level.
They soon reached the inner area, but didn't dared to continue heading deeper. It was like a death sentence. The inner area was dangerous enough to explore even with their current combines strength.
Yu Bing'er and Yu Han searched around while still camouflaged using the Stealth Talisman and Noise Cancelling Signal, making their presence even more obscure.
While searching, the two of them suddenly heard a commotion happening nearby, causing them to quickly grow alarmed and curious.
Yu Han and Yu Bing'er cautiously walked toward the location of the commotion.
Slowly shoving the thick bush blocking their sight, they soon saw two ferecious spirit beasts fighting against each other, currently looking wounded and exhausted.
Yu Han felt a strange affinity with one of them, causing him to observe them more closely.
He soon realized the two spirit beasts were the Horned Blade Serpent and Armoured Lizard, with both having their own unique dragon bloodlines.
And based from their appearances, they both seemed to be already level purple with the cultivation age of 1,497 years old, perfectly fitting the requirements they needed.
Wow, such a good luck!
[ One of them looks perfect to me! How about you? ] Yu Han asked mentally while looking at his sister.
[ Mhmm. ] Yu Bing'er simply nodded, also feeling some strange affinity toward the Horned Blade Serpent.
It was soon decided.
That these two spirit beasts were gonna become their very first spirit rings.
The cultivation age of the spirit beast was too high for their current realm, but it wasn't a problem.

"Surprise! Mother Duckers!" Yu Han wore a bastardly grin, as he and Yu Bing'er jumped toward the two helpless spirit beasts.
A starry purple veil surrounded them—resonance activating.
Without wasting any time, Yu Han smashed his black fist toward the Armoured Lizard. It was unfortunate to spill bloods again, but it was certainly unavoidable. It was fine to get called as a hypocrite crazy perverted bastard just to get stronger and live the future comfortably and lazily.

Yu Han's left black arm was enveloped with a black purple dragon that looked fierce and bloodthirsty, releasing a boundless amount of killing intent that forcefully locked down on the wounded helpless Armoured Lizard.

Yu Han constantly pounded his black purple dragon fist toward the armoured lizard's body, not leaving it a chance to recover.

Yu Bing'er calmly swung her long, long, long sword downwards, cutting the serpent's body into half.
They looked quite exhausted after using the resonance state, but their dragon energy had already grown extremely dense, now only making them completely exhausted once unleashing three resonated special attacks.
Soon enough, the two spirit beasts died without being able to process what happened to them.

"That was pretty anti-climatic," Yu Han mumbled.
Two resplendent purple spirit rings soon floated above the dead carcass.
Before they absorbed it, Yu Han plucked the spiritual flowers first and stuffed all of it inside his bag. He looked around before signing as there was no signs of approaching calamity.
"Let's hurry and quickly absorb the spirit rings!" Yu Han said, causing Yu Bing'er to nod silently.
Instead of absorbing the purple spirit rings by themselves, the two decided to absorb the spirit rings while still in the state of lower resonance.
The risk of absorbing a purple spirit ring for the first slot still existed, but the resonance state will lessen the risk by sharing each others burden.
Yu Han and Yu Bing'er immediately started to absorb the spirit rings. It was very easy, their powerful and firm mental power subduing the weak leftover will from the dead spirit beasts.
Their unique black and white martial spirits appeared and tried to receive the spirit rings, but the unknown Demonic and Heavenly Crest appeared once again. And this time, the crests absorbed the spirit rings instead while using some of the Soul Authority's power.
Yu Han and Yu Bing'er were startled, but calmed down soon.
Yu Han activated the Soul Authority. He was stunned as he saw the scattering soul essence of the two dead spirit beasts being absorbed back by the two unknown crests, compressing it all back into complete souls.
Their purple spirit rings were being changed by the Demonic Crest and Heavenly Crest.
The crests soon released a huge amount of compressed energy into their body, causing their spirit power to fluctuate violently and meet with the bottleneck that stopped them from advancing. It soon break, allowing them to advance and evolve their martial spirits and bloodlines at the same time.
Their freakishly condensed spirit powers started to rise and overflow, spreading into thousands of tiny threads that nourished their countless cells, strengthening it greatly as their previous limit set by the cultivation realm was broken.
Their advancement also affected their bloodlines, allowing to the fusion completion to continue rising.

Yu Han's flesh, muscles, bones, tendons, and skin were transforming. All of it were faintly covered with a black hue, quickly becoming immensely powerful and sturdier.
It was Dragon Body.
Yu Han obtained the Dragon Body that significantly increased his physique even further. It enriched his blood essence, transforming into dragon blood essence.
A shroud of baleful aura wrapped around his skin—The Dragon Aura. It was the superior way of using the blood essence that only the Dragon Race from immemorial eras could use.
Yu Bing'er transformed like Yu Han, but her were white instead of black.
After their bloodlines improved, the martial spirits allow showed changes.
The smooth black body of Aurelius gaining some thick durable scales, and Aurelian growing a sword like horn on its forehead.
Yu Han and Yu Bing'er soon finished absorbing their purple spirit rings. No, it was more appropriate to call their spirit rings as Demonic Ring and Heavenly Ring after being changed by the unknown crests.
They immediately understood the abilities they obtained from it.
The ability Yu Han obtained was called Demonic Body Avatar. Yu Bing'er was called as Heavenly Spirit Avatar.
The two were similar, but also different. It was something that's dangerous to use at the dangerous forest. They decided to try back at home where it was safe.
When Yu Han thought everything was over now, he suddenly noticed something weird within his mental world. Yu Bing'er also experienced the same thing.
The of them were immediately stunned to witness the spirit beasts they killed earlier to appear inside their sea of consciousness or mental world.
This was unbelievable because he haven't heard of something like this to ever happened.
However, when Yu Han thought this was really the end, something shocking happened once again.
A dense amount of ominous dark clouds began to condense above them, accompanied by a sea of ferecious white thunder and lightning.
It forced the nearby spirit beast to flee away from its frightening aura.
Yu Han and Yu Bing'er widened both of their eyes in shock.
"A Heavenly Tribulation? Why is it appearing over here? Is there some random God ascending nearby?" Yu Han said while laughing confusedly.
A bad feeling overwhelmed his heart.
"Is it just me, but is that Heavenly Tribulation above us?" Yu Han probed his sister, but noticed her expression was completely pale.
Yu Han's expression was drained with colour too.
"Fuck! How did we suddenly summoned a fucking Heavenly Tribulation!? Is this some of your fucking work again, shitty heaven!?" Yu Han shouted furiously while his left arm was possessed by Aurelius.
He then noticed the possession state over his left arm changed, now becoming covered with thick durables black scales.
It was most likely due to inheriting the Armoured Lizard's scale armour.
And the reason why they're experiencing a Heavenly Tribulation is because the law of the world didn't like the existence of their unique rings.
This Heavenly Tribulation wasn't that exaggeratedly strong, but still powerful nonetheless.
