2 Chapter 2

Upon waking up I began opening my eyes little by little I found myself in my room sleeping on my mother's lap as she ran her

soft hands through my golden hair that reached midway down my neck this went on for a few minutes "How are you feeling my

son" bibi dong ask with a worried tone "mhm quite fine actually by the way mother how long have I been asleep" i asked curious to know

she looks at me for a few seconds before getting up and laying my head back on the bed and begins to walk towards the door before coming to a stop once teaching the

door nob "Just a few days try to rest a few more hours before doing anything I'll leave

you to rest I still have some business to attend" she spoke before leaving through the door yao now alone in his room gets up and

opens his curtains and sees the sun rising in the sky indicating it was morning he walks back to his bed and hops on and positions

himself in a lotus position and begins to mediate he began searching through his memories for useful techniques but the more

he searched the more frustrated he got their were thousands upon thousands of techniques in his memories most of which

were useless to him but finally after searching for a few hours he found two techniques that he had found interesting the first one had no

name but it was a simple technique to enhance one's vision to another level the techniques had seven stages to awaken the

first stage one had to absorb the heavenly energy in the air and condense it into there eyes of course it was a painful process yao felt like his eyes were being peirced by

hundreds of needles this went on for a few hours before finally coming to an end after absorbing a few strands of heavenly energy

yao was able to awaken the first stage which enhanced his vision by ten percent he could see more clearly he could see everything

within fifty miles to the smallest of creatures he even gained night vision which would come in handy.

The second one was a technique called Aura

it was a technique which would strengthen ones foundation it didn't only enhance all of one's senses to the limit it allowed one to condense their energy into an external force

such as shaping it into a barrier for defence or coating weapons with his energy marking its making it stronger sharper faster more lethal and the main reason I reason I chose these

two techniques was so that my archery became something to be trifled with in past life I was mostly a shy shut in but my

grandfather owned a dojo a few blocks from my home and at time he would force to go and exercise learn a few moves although I

wasn't so talented when it came to martial arts but I could say with confidence that when it came to archery I was truly an expert i

myself didn't know why i was just extremely gifted with the bow it wouldnt be a lie to say that I was as good as Oliver queen but here in the douluo world knowone wielded a bow a

bow was useless in the eyes of the spirits masters know one would believe that a mere

bow could kill a spirit master it was nothing compared to a sword or or other weapons but after spending the entire day and night

training I was able to master the aura since it was quite simple technique as for the other I was able to enter the third stage which took

me all night collecting heavenly energy throught out the entire night and finally

condensing it all into my eyes as morning came I was able to break through the the third stage also know as Shadow eyes I was now

able to see everything within a few hundred miles even the smallest of life forms were not able to escape my sight I was also able to see

the many energys in the air as well now with with my shadow eyes I was able too see

everything within a few hundred miles a archer needs a good eyesight after all and with aura I could coat the arrow in a layer of

energy capable of killing expert now with these two techniques a simple bow would now become something truly deadly in the

right hands right now I'm outside in the yard facing off against a three spirit hall disciples

the three of them were all spirit master the most powerful among them was li bao who was at rank 27 I wanted t see just how much my senses have been heightened so i asked

them if they could spar with me after entering the arena naturally they would have declined since its pretty well know that i was

undefeated but this time was different I stood their in the middle with rag covering my eyes while su tiang stood in front me li bao stood to my right and lu yang stood to my left I

looked up and nodded indicating to them to begin getting the message they all charge at

me and I was quite shocked since I could feel hear smell everything thing around me I was even able to predict where exactly they were gonna attack but could also track their every

movement su tiang appeared behind me and let out a vicious right hook coming straight

towards me but with simple sidestep I avoid his blow while at the same time I do a back flip avoiding lu yang's left palm coming at me from the side while in the air I do a slight spin

then i go on and swing my left leg connecting it with lu yang's right cheek sending him flying across the field while gracefully landing on

the ground suddenly su tiang and li bao both appear in front of me su tiang let's out barrage of punches as he tries to distract me while li

bao appears behind of me and connects a right punch to my back but it was a lot

stronger then yao had expected yao getting up and wiping the dust off his pants takes the rag off and begins to gaze li bao hands they

were transformed into a white tiger paw with five razer sharp black claws I was quite

shocked since even with his transformation it shouldn't have dealt that much damage since he could still feel his back slightly trembling from the hit after looking for a few more

minutes yao let out a sigh since he couldn't find the reason li bao was so strong it must be a mutation of some sort thought yao better keep on eye on him yao thanked them for the spar and soon returned to his room since he had to go get ready since he was about to head to star dou forest with etsuko to hunt for his first spirit ring.....
