3 The Dispute Between Friends

The next day came.

She was very late for school. She rushed to go. Finally, she arrived. After a while, it dawned on her that she hadn't brought her phone. She wanted to go back home and get it but she was already late so she went to school without taking her phone.

As she entered the school, she saw her friend Salilus coming out of the principal's office. When he saw her he gave her his usual goofy smile. She smiled at him because she liked his foolish, playful smile. Then she smiled appreciatively and waved at him and went to her classroom.

She went to the classroom.

She decided to tell her friend Marie about Gabriel during break time.

She waited until the break time comes.

When she went to meet her in the classroom, Marie grabbed her tightly and led her to the school lounge.

Kaylee saw that Marie was very angry.

As Kaylee was about to speak, Marie discontinued her and asked, "Who is this? You know him, right? I remember you telling us about him yesterday. Why did you give him my number? "

"What are you talking about Marie? I didn't give anyone your number." Kaylee said.

Kaylee thought she was talking nonsense. But she wanted to know what she was talking about and asked her to clarify what she was talking about and also asked Marie to show her the phone number of the person.

Kaylee took Marie's phone and checked the number and the thing that saw made her muddle and furious so much.

When Kaylee compared the phone numbers, she noticed that the numbers were the same. And the same text she received.

Kaylee thought not to need to tell her that she knows him because if she told her, Marie will think Kaylee is the one who gave him Marie's number.

"Oh, don't mind that. Maybe he was joking. Block the number and forget it" said Kaylee in a casual voice.

She did not care about the message but she wondered how he got Marie's number. Kaylee does not want to show that she was surprised about it so she tries to ignore it.

Marie saw the sudden change in Kaylee. Marie knew that Kaylee was trying to ignore her by lying to her.

"Why are you trying to ignore me?" Marie asked

"No, nothing. I know he's kidding. Calm down, Marie" Kaylee replied

"How do you know him so well? Is he your cousin or...? "

"Close Friend" Kaylee completed. She does not want Marie to misunderstand her.

Marie nodded and said, "Friend, friend, and close friend"

Ultimately, Marie angrily leaves the lounge.

When school is over, Kaylee tried to talk to her but Marie still ignored her.

Kaylee is someone who does not want to be second to anyone. So Kaylee ignored Marie.

Both departed for the houses. While she was moving home she assumed to question Gabriel did he mail a message to her best friend but she got terrified to ask because she don't know who is he yet.

At last, she decided to ask him because her heart forced her to ask and know the reality.

When Kaylee went home, she sent a message to Gabriel "Did you send a message to a girl who's my age yesterday?"

"No, I didn't. Why are you asking dear?" responded Gabriel.

She asked him if he was sure about his answer and she said "yes"

"Please stop lying to me now. I know you did" Kaylee said with disappointment.

"I swear dear, I didn't talk to any girl your age yesterday and I don't want to talk to another girl your girl because I have you" Gabriel replicated.

"OK, then today or whenever?" Asked Kaylee.

"No, what's the matter?" Asked Gabriel.

"My friend showed me that you have sent 'Hi, I would like to be your friend' to her, and now why are you lying to me? I believe my eyes."

"I told you I didn't talk to any girl. Ok, if you say so I sent a message, send me your friend's number so I will talk to her" Gabriel replied angrily.

"Oh! Why are you asking for the number from me? Go and check your contacts on your phone so u can find it. Kaylee responded furiously.

"What are you talking about dear? I don't know anything about what's happening here. One thing I know is you have entangled something again. Gabriel expressed.

Kaylee didn't reply to the message as she was so irate.

She went to the playground to be free for a moment. When she reached it she saw her friend Patricia sitting on a bench. Kaylee moved to visit her and sit on the bench Patricia sitting on.

As Patricia recognized Kaylee, they started to talk and also started to talk about their fantastic past in primary classes and both started to laugh.

As Kaylee was laughing she remembered about Marie and her problem. Patricia is a person who's Kaylee trusts most and she assumed to say everything that happened and the problem that happened between Marie and Kaylee. After a few minutes ago Kaylee told her about it.

"Oh! Don't worry. I will support you guys to be buddies again" Patricia replied.

"OMG, really are you going to help me? Kaylee asked with puzzlement.

"Yes, just send a message to her apologizing for ignoring her and tell her that he is a friend of your brother and tell her you still need your bestie" Marie explained.

"Aw, Thank you so much, Patricia," Kaylee said with a happy face.

Suddenly, Kaylee had a ring from her driver and the driver notified her it was time to go home.

"I have to go now, Patricia. See you later! And thanks for your guidance and support" Kaylee said and escaped.

"Oh! No problem, Bye Kaylee" Patricia responded.

She got home. Kaylee thought to talk to Marie.

Kaylee does not want to lose her best friend because of that person, but she cannot tell the truth. She decided to hide the truth from her and to be friends again.

She sends a text message to Marie as Patricia told her to do. "Marie, I'm sorry for ignoring you. I know who he is. He is a friend of my brother. He said he gave him your number incorrectly. I talked to him and my brother already apologized for it. Now forget it, Marie, I still need you. You've been my best friend since I was a kid"

"Hmm, never mind Kaylee. I was supposed to talk to you tomorrow. I want my best friend too. I'm sorry for ignoring you. I forgot about it now" Marie replied.

"Yes Marie, we should not break our friendship because of him" Kaylee replied.

Kaylee sensed that she has got in a huge gift because she has her best friend again. She thanked God in her mind.

"So are you going to school tomorrow?" Kaylee asked her as she wanted to see her friend's smile again.

"Yes, I'll" Marie answered.

"Oh! That's great. I cannot wait to see my bestie" Kaylee said with a smile.

"Really? Same here Kaylee. By the way, I have to go off now. Mom calling me to take dinner so see you tomorrow" Marie said.

"Okay, then we'll meet at school tomorrow. Bye" Answered Kaylee.
