6 New Ability, an Opportunity

"Are you really okay, Nobita?" Doraemon worriedly asked Nobita who was currently sitting on the ground after being treated by him

"Yes, I'm okay." He said "But, please remind me to never do something so stupid again." Nobita said with obvious regret as he touched his still sore stomach

"If you would actually listen to me, this wouldn't happen." Doraemon said as Nobita sheepishly laughed "I promise, I won't do something so stupid next time." He said with genuine regret at having decided to fight someone too strong for his own good to test himself

Although he had managed to win, he attributed that to luck and the fact that it was a non intelligent projection, he'd probably be dead or something by now if that was the real deal.

"*Yawn* I'm starving." Nobita said with a yawn as he got up, Doraemon sighing at his antics as he smiled and took out a pink door from his pocket 'Anywhere Door'

"Let's go home then." Doraemon said as they both went into the door which opened to his room in the Reverse World as they then jumped into the Portal

"Let's go eat." Nobita said as they both went downstairs after Doraemon kept the portal back in his pocket

"I'm so full." Nobita said as he and Doraemon walked back into his room with Doraemon agreeing with him by patting his bulging belly

"Hey Doraemon, I have an idea, let's test it?" He asked as Doraemon instantly became vigilant "It's about the System." Nobita said with a sigh as Doraemon slightly relaxed

"C'mon." Nobita said as he walked towards his desk and opened the drawer, the space inside it definitely not a drawer as it lead to a huge futuristic plane like area instead with around 4 seats in the front and multiple seats in the back with the glass in front showing a blue tunnel like area with red and yellow mixed in

"Huh?" Nobita said with confusion and looked at Doraemon who looked a bit smug

"Is this?"

"Yep! This is my real Time Machine." Doraemon said smugly as Nobita gaped at the futuristic machine instead of the toy like platform that used to stay there

"You know what, nevermind." Nobita said as he jumped in, Doraemon's face losing it's smugness and turning confused and disappointed

"Is it really not that amazing?" He asked himself as he looked down from the drawer instead of entering it

"BINGO!" Nobita yelled excitedly as he beamed at Doraemon "It's like I guessed! This is a Special Area too!" Nobita said with excitement as Doraemon realised what exactly Nobita was aiming for

[ Congratulations! You Got Ability: Time Resistance ]

[ This ability allows the user and those he wants to not be affected by actions like time stopping and time altering unless he allows it, even if someone alters your past, your current self would be unaffected without your permission ]

"That's so useful!" Doraemon yelled in excitement at Nobita's ability as he smiled excitedly and full of joy as Nobita looked confused

"It's confidential stuff, I'll tell you later?" Doraemon asked as he saw Nobita's enquiring gaze

"It's fine, you can tell me whenever you feel like it." Nobita said with a smile as Doraemon also smiled

"Now, to activate this ability on you." He said as he pointed at Doraemon who looked a bit surprised but then smiled

"Nobita!" Tamako called as she went upstairs, going to wake Nobita up like she had used to, only to open the door and find Nobita already awake, freshened up and his futon put away

"Ah? You're awake?" She asked in surprise but then smiled, her son was truly trying to improve himself

"Good Morning Mom, I'll be down in a minute." He told her with a smile as she returned the smile and greeted him "Good Morning Nobita, I came to tell you that breakfast is ready." She said as she closed the door and went back down

"*Phew*" Nobita heaved a relieved sigh, with Doraemon also jumping out of the closet with relief, both looking at the 'Mobile Fishing Gadget' that was attached to the ceiling

"We were lucky." Doraemon said as the gadget slowly floated down, him folding it and putting it back into his pocket as Nobita nodded

"We should really keep track of the time." Nobita commented "I'm a robot and you're a Herrscher, we don't really need sleep." Doraemon pointed out

Yes, they had spent the whole night in the Reverse World, training (Learning to throw buildings properly)

"Yeah but, what if Mom came in like today and we weren't here?" Nobita asked as Doraemon suddenly sweated exaggeratedly

"Yeah, exactly." Nobita said as he changed into his uniform, a white shirt with a full sleeved black coat with yellow buttons over it and black pants

"Let's go eat." Nobita said after changing and went downstairs, Doraemon smiling at him with pride at his growth from a lazy and dull boy to now but then frowned a bit

'This System really is actually fixing the timeline, isn't it?' He asked himself 'No, it's even better than the Original Timeline.' Doraemon mused as Nobita wasn't a Herrscher before

"No way, Nobita's on time again?!"

"Is he actually changing himself?"

"It's probably temporary."

"Probably? Make it definitely."

As Nobita entered his classroom, he heard the other students whisper about him, probably thinking he couldn't hear them but, he had Herrscher/Super Human senses

"Good Morning Nobita." Dekisigi who had arrived earlier than most students greeted him "Good Morning Hidetoshi." Nobita greeted back with a smile as they then chatted for a while

Some time later, Shizuka and her group of friends entered the class, Nobita just glanced at her and ignored her, even though he had ignored her, he felt an uncomfortable weight within his chest, as if something was pressing down on him

He acted as normal as he could and kept chatting with Dekisugi

"So, what you mean is that you're trying to major in physics in the future?" Dekisugi asked Nobita who nodded with a smile "Yeah! Physics is one of the things that actually intrest me and I like to put in the effort for." Nobita explained as Dekisugi nodded in contemplation

"My dream is to be an Astronaut and an Astrophysicist." Dekisugi told him, making Nobita look surprised about the shift in topic "Its always been a dream of mine since I was little, I was always fascinated by the stars and what lies beyond." He explained

Nobita gave a friendly smirk "If you want, I could ask Doraemon." Nobita offered as Dekisugi looked surprised"You'd do that?" He asked "Of course, if you want to ask him, you're always welcome at my house." Nobita said as Dekisugi gave a smile of gratitude

"Nobita!" The door suddenly opened, Gian and Suneo barging in through the doors they looked absolutely shocked and livid

"Wait! Guys!" Nobita said as Gian rushed at him, Nobita quickly jumping back on reflex from the desk he was seated on

"You lied to us!" He yelled at him "Lied about what?!" Nobita asked him

"You told us that you were just lucky yesterday!" Suneo replied "You told us that you didn't use any gadgets!"

"I swear, I haven't used any gadgets!" Nobita explained as Gian closed in on him, Nobita quickly moving backwards and a few places away from where Gian was

"You dare lie to our faces?!" Gian asked as he pointed at Nobita, who had reflexively jumped onto a desk,... three places away from where he was earlier

"....Oh." Nobita said as Gian and Suneo gritted their teeth

"Wait, I can explain!" He said as Gian stopped where he was, breathing heavily with anger alongside Suneo as they glared at him

"Then explain!" He yelled

"This weekend, you both come to my house, I promise I'll explain then." Nobita said quickly as Gian walked over, Nobita not retreating

"You better keep your promise." Gian threatened him as he held him by the collar and lifted him up "Of course Gian, I definitely will." Nobita said as he grabbed Gian's hand, slowly removing it from his collar in Gian's surprised and shocked gaze

'Totally Worth it.' Nobita thought upon seeing Gian's face twisted in shock and surprise

"Ah! Gian, the Bell's about to ring!" Suneo suddenly reminded as everyone who was watching slack jawed in the class came to their senses, rushing towards the auditorium for the meeting today.

Nobita walking at a normal pace exited the class, heaving a sigh at his luck

'That was surprising.' Nobita thought as he idly played with his pencil while waiting for Sensei to enter

What was surprising? Of course, it was the thing that was discussed at the assembly today

{ Some time ago }

"Students!" Yoshida Sensei, the School Principal greeted them as he stood at the stage with a microphone

The Students all stood in a line according to their classes as they listened to the announcement that was so important that all of them had to be here

"I have called you all here to inform you of something-" He said "-As per the decisions of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. The Idea proposed internationally and has been being considered by nearly all countries the past few years have been decided to be implemented." He said

"Most Schools have already announced this or will be announcing this in the near future but,-" he continued "-The Genius Test, The new plan that has been decided to be implemented allows all students if they wish, no matter how good or bad their grades were to take an exam that will allow them to test if they are talented in certain fields and allow them to gain a lifetime scholarship and recommendations to a University of their choice." He explained to the mostly bored students

"This Exam will be held annually across the Globe and those who pass it will also be tested again within five years, to see how much they have improved." He said

"The rest of the details have been written on this document-" he said as he showed a paper "-If you wish to register for this, please inform your Headteacher within this month."

{ Present}

Nobita read the document again as he sighed, this was an opportunity for him to use to the maximum

This exam was actually something that allowed students to skip grades and not even attend classes if they were classified a Rank 5 Genius, they could potentially not take any classes and sit at home the entire semester but was required to write his semester exams as a necessity, they could even directly jump to university if they wanted to after they get a Rank 3 evaluation

The Ranks of Geniuses were divided into 5 according to performance with Rank 1 the lowest and Rank 5 the highest.

He wondered why Doraemon didn't mention anything about this to him since he was from the future and frowned, deciding to ask him about this after he went home

The door suddenly slid open as Takoda Sensei entered the classroom, making Nobita return to his senses as they all stood up to greet him

He decided to think about this matter later and decided to file it away.

( A/N: So, like, I was confused as hell on how to execute the announcement thing since it was something I'd decided long ago, I wanted this fic to be more realistic and somehow action packed with slice of life too, so I made a good? I think it's good enough plot for that, this part was goddamn confusing for me, tell me what all I can change to make it well, make more sense
