28 U.S.J Incident

The next few days were somewhat monotonous/nail-biting, mostly normal classes when the sun was up and serious training and toughening of my body during the night. I'd requested after school use of one of the training grounds and Nezu had approved it, so I started trying to prompt different abilities to appear while I was there too.

I got to see Izuku and Katsuki having their 'I'll overtake you!' rival moment after school when I was heading to the training ground, it reminded me of some tsundere romance stories if I'm honest. I'd also had a talk with Toru in private- she was absolutely mortified but still thanked me for letting her know… she still ended up avoiding me after that however.

My body was really tough so when I fell from great heights I only had to bend my knees slightly to remove any damage… that wasn't good enough. I wanted impact absorption, so I jumped around and kept my legs straight as I hit the ground. It only upgraded my feet so I tried the more brute approach of simply smacking my fist into my body while focusing on what I wanted to happen. This was only one of many different abilities I tried to get.

The hardest by far was something I desperately needed for my plan to succeed- Flight! This was a power I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to get using only passive adaptation. I knew I could get this one through many different avenues- Wings, Jetpack or bio-forcefield… I had no idea how to get the forcefield one without it taking a week or more of sitting and concentrating. Wings were somewhat good but I was bulky enough already not to mention I didn't want to look even weirder.

Jetpack would require several 'ports' all over my body but would otherwise not drastically change my looks or need massive modifications since I already had everything to power it up already. But it'd probably still melt the concrete so it was on the backburner (not a pun) for now.

The next major event should be the villain attack, it didn't worry me much… I was actually looking forward to being able to kick a Nomu's ass. No, what worried me was the person I remembered was gonna be teaching us… Thirteen.

I completely forgot she was someone who existed until going over the events in my head. She may actually have one of- if not, the single most powerful attack of anyone (I know of) in MHA. If anyone stands a chance of actually killing me (for a LONG time)… it's her. She scares me because of the obvious black hole thing… but also because there's a good chance I'm immortal and I've only now realized what that means… Well I should still have a good century or two left before humanity kills itself or worse… hopefully.

Speaking of humanity…

"WHAT CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT ALL MIGHT?!"

It seems some of the worst it has to offer is crowding the front entrance. I knew these reporters would appear and be an annoyance… this meant mr hand fetish was somewhere close by?

I ignored the bloodsuckers (easy when they only reached my waist and I'm basically covered in barbed wire) to look around, there really was quite a crowd… oh? I saw Tenya coming towards me, I gave him a nod and left him to answer some questions- He'd be more than happy to, and the reporters would have to suffer through his long-winded responses.

I kept looking over the crowd while occasionally helping a classmate get through the rabble, my amazing student ferry service included- Denki, Mina, Eijiro, Kyoka and Hanta (finally got to ask his name). It gave me a good excuse to stay out the front and keep looking… found you! How the hell did nobody else notice him?! His skin was cracked, his eyes promised violence and he was standing alone across the street staying eerily still!

It'd be an unprovoked assault if I did anything now… but I could still make his plan a bit harder. Aizawa eventually emerged to shoo the reporters and tell them they were being a nuisance. I walked beside him into the school, once the entrance gate went up I tried talking to him- "Aizawa, there was a suspicious individual out the front."

My tone got his attention, I was usually aloof when speaking to others so it got across just how serious I thought this was, so he asked me- "What was so suspicious?"

"There was a young man across the street with blue hair, cracked and chapped skin… and he was looking at the entrance like a lunatic! I could feel just how much he hated us and wanted to cause violence." I couldn't actually feel people's intentions (Rumi just said she could so I hoped he thought I could too).

Aizawa stayed calm and started considering- "Don't worry too much, we'll check them out just in case… from what you saw, what's your best and worst case scenario of what you think they'd do?"

Best and worst? "Best case scenario they jump a student when they're alone after school, worst case scenario they're a villain planning on invading the school… most likely scenario is they have a bomb or gun and are waiting for the chance to use it." I gave a big hint about their plans which I hoped he'd keep in mind. "Listen, Rumi has had people follow her from time to time, people who want to find where she lives and burn it to the ground or kill her… this guy is worse, trust me."

Now that made him take it more seriously, he ended up taking out a tablet and (I'm assuming) messaging Nezu or another teacher. I hope they fuck up hand creeps plans at least a little.

We walked the rest of the way to class together where he congratulated everyone on their performance yesterday before pointing out people's flaws- Telling Katsuki to stop acting like an angry child, telling Izuku to learn to properly control his quirk… and also telling off me and ant bitch.

"Alex, you shouldn't use any attacks you can't fully control- if you think it'll hit your allies or possibly innocents, then you shouldn't use it… especially when you clearly didn't need it!" He was referring to the 'battle cry' I did, I mean I wasn't trying to use it as an attack but hearing him say how I didn't need it and seeing Shoto get annoyed was worth it.

"Kaori, you lack common sense! You can't just fly directly through a building- destroying several support pillars! Just to apprehend someone! And especially not when it endangers your allies!" He got a bit heated at this, though I can't blame him when the idiot caused the building to half collapse with Momo still inside! She had a little notepad and jotted the criticism down.

Aizawa's eyebrow twitched but he continued on anyway- "Now let's get down to homeroom business. Sorry about the late notice, but today, I'll have you…"

The class held their breath and I saw several panicked faces.

"...decide on a class representative."

The panicked faces quickly morphed into relaxed expressions… and then the room exploded into everyone nominating themselves… They do realize it'll be extra work and responsibilities?

"SILENCE, PLEASE!" and Tenya thankfully saved my ears. Of course he then had an entire long-winded speech which could have been summed up as- lets vote democratically. The idea was tossed around for a bit before he asked Aizawa if the method was suitable, Aizawa of course just wanted to have a nap so he said- "I don't care, as long as you decide before homeroom is over."

We handed out small paper slips and each voted, I of course voted for Momo since she's sensible but doesn't have the buzzkill vibes of Tenya.

And the final results? A tie of three votes between Momo and Izuku… and a tie of two votes between me and Tenya?! Who voted for me? I quickly looked around… ah, a certain redhead and pinky were giving me thumbs up… I mean I appreciate the gesture but no way in hell would I want the position.

"Why Deku?! Who voted for him?!" Katsuki of course looked… well he always looked pissed but now he looked more pissed. Hanta (the brave man he is) flat out told Katsuki that any option was better than he is, I had a good laugh at this while explodo got angrier.

Onto the next question, now… who voted for Tenya? I remember him not voting for himself? Whatever. Final question, how are they gonna resolve the tie between the top 2? Seems they didn't have to, Izuku solved it before they could come up with anything… by simply conceding the top spot to Momo.

Aizawa reluctantly ended his nap and got up to appoint them- "Then, the class rep is Yaoyorozu, and the deputy class rep will be Midoriya." Well now, we have lunch… made by Lunch Rush… where the major event is where people panic and start a lunch rush? …subtle.

This time the place was far more packed, I also sat with Eijiro and Mina… I got actual spicy food too since after eating the chili flakes I found them quite tasty- I didn't actually ever have spicy food before coming to this school and I forgot to try it before then. Once I realized, I didn't wanna pull an English maneuver of having spices and just never using them. This was why my tray was stacked with a small mountain of different spicy foods from several different cultures- Variety baby!

"Man! I don't know how you can eat that stuff! It's making my eyes water just sitting across from you!" Eijiro obviously disagreed as he said this while covering his nose and holding a napkin to his eyes, he continued- "Did you have to challenge Lunch Rush?!"

"Whadja mean?" I confusedly asked with a mouth full of food. I'd only told him that the regular spices weren't hot enough and that I couldn't tell if I'd added them?

Mina cut in- "You challenged what might be the world's greatest chef by saying his sauce- which is sold worldwide and known for its spiciness… isn't spicy!"

"It's sold worldwide?" I once again asked while stuffing my gullet.

Eijiro cut back in- "It's in the top 3!"

"Damn that's crazy." I said before uncapping the sauce bottle and taking a swig to cool down.

Our table had already drawn quite some attention with some curious students wiping their eyes or looking on in awe… also I think someone placed a bet on whether I'd survive the meal… at least give me a cut!

"Where are you even putting it all?! The amount of food is more than-"

*RIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG*

Eijiro was for the second time cut off- this time by the alarm ringing… seems my warning didn't change enough.

"There has been a Level 3 security breach, All students please evacuate outdoors promptly." said a robotic female voice.

Everyone started panicking and running for the exit! I quickly grabbed Eijiro and Mina and placed them on my shoulders… After shoveling as much food as I could into my mouth- I was above the crowd, really big and really spiky… nobody wanted to push into me and I made my way straight toward Tenya- I'll see if I can help him oust Izuku.

Along the way I went full moses and parted the sea of people. I made sure to use any opportunity I got to help anyone who was about to be trampled or was from my class and being pulled by the tide of bodies.

I also told my passengers to look out the window and tell me what they saw. I'd already used my eyes to scan the area for that villain bastard but couldn't see him at all.

"It's only reporters!?" They both said in unison. "Yep, so everyone needs to chill real quick, good for us that we have the perfect man for the job!" I said while getting behind Tenya and telling him my plan.

He instantly agreed as I put the other 2 down… I breathed in and- "RAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

It wasn't half as loud as the one in the training ground… but it was still loud enough to get everyone's attention- "OI, CALM DOWN AND LISTEN TO THIS GUY FOR A SEC!" as I pointed to Tenya who was now standing above everyone with me as a platform. I could tell them myself but I didn't wanna end up being the class babysitter.

Tenya didn't waste the opportunity- "EVERYONE, EVERYTHING'S FINE!" they all calmed down at the reassurance as he continued- "It is just the media! There is nothing to panic about… EVERYTHING'S FINE! This is U.A! Let us act in a way befitting of the best of the best." Still A little long but everyone really needed that right now as he assured them while stoking their pride as U.A students.

"Nicely done." Tenya came out of his serious demeanor… and looked down to see me. He frantically hopped off my shoulders and started apologizing- "My apologies! I got too caught up in-"

I continued the trend of people getting cut off with Tenya- "Stop apologizing- no seriously please stop. You did a good job, I'm not mad about you using me as a stage- especially since I suggested it." I gave him a pat on the back while flashing a smile- "That was damn heroic, so again… nicely done!"

Heh, the buff nerd got really surprised and couldn't eke out a response, I also left before he could say anything. Besides… I had a strange suspicion I'd be called in for some questioning soon.

As I was heading back to class my suspicions were proven correct as Aizawa told me that Nezu wanted more details on the person I spotted. I was led to his office where Nezu and a police officer were already in a discussion that was brought to an end as the door opened.

"Oh, Alex! Right on time, could you relay what you told Aizawa earlier to this officer?" Nezu happily asked.

I'll be careful in case they're a lie detector like that woman from before- "Sure, a young man in his early 20's with blue hair and chapped skin was standing out the front this morning- the guy looked and felt like he wanted violence, I'd place a bet on him being responsible for all the trouble from earlier."

The officer raised a brow- "Felt like they wanted violence?"

I looked him in the eye- "Yeah, seriously, he gave me chills- you could tell he was a serial killer or something from a mile away."

"And nobody else spotted them?" The officer continued.

"Kinda hard to spot them when we had a mob crowding the entrance." My answer was maybe a little too snarky but made sense.

They nodded at my answer but asked another question- "So why were you the only one to spot them?"

I gave him a deadpan look- "Have you seen me? I can see over every crowd I'm in… add in some super senses and nobody can hide from me… for long."

"R-right, well, thank you for your time." I took his words as a dismissal and waved to Nezu before walking back to class. The rest of the day went as normal- regular classes and afternoon powerup sessions. A few days later and- "The training will take place off-campus, so we're taking a bus. That is all. Start getting ready." Aizawa finishing up telling the class about the USJ trip.

Getting ready was the easy part since I was now back in my hulk pants. I'd also turned off the x-ray vision and told Toru- didn't want her to be basically unable to use her power just because of me… she'd said thanks but gotten close to tears making me promise to not turn it back on while she was in her hero 'uniform'... or lack thereof. I'd agreed on the condition that she get a uniform that worked with her power at the first opportunity.

Both getting on the bus and the ride went the same as in canon- Tenya (the new deputy class rep) used a whistle to try and get everyone in order… which turned out to be unnecessary, then Tsuyu called out Izuku's quirk for being similar to All Might… which was then followed by people teasing Katsuki… other people, certainly not me.

That… is a big dome. Not like it looked small in the manga but… this thing was nearly as big as some old hydroponics domes I'd scrapped. I thought this as I saw the place looming above us and we pulled up out the front.

And of course the person at the top of my 'don't fuck with' list was our teacher- Space Hero, Thirteen! She said hello and took us inside… Did I mention this place was big? I meant fucking enormous! How much money did they have?!

Thirteen went on to introduce the place- obviously the USJ. Aizawa had the chat about All Mights absence before she started talking about the nature of quirks and the general- 'it's not the quirk, it's how you use it!' spiel. Both myself and ant bitch visibly flinched at the mention of her quirk- something Aizawa in the front picked up on.

Once she was done Aizawa took over- "All right then, first-"

He didn't get to finish as the lights all over the dome went out. Fuuu, I knew this was coming, but damn I was still nervous- not of personally dying but my actions ending up with the death of someone else.

A misty black and purple portal appeared in front of the water fountain in the middle- as it expanded a hand was seen opening it further, its owner that creepy idiot from earlier… this time showing off his fetish with his choice of fashion- Hands everywhere including his face!

Aizawa quickly ordered us- "Gather together and don't move! Thirteen, protect the students!"

Out of the portal tens of villains began emerging, some students thought it may be similar to the entrance exam- "Don't move!" Aizawa hastily yelled, he quickly put on his goggles- "Those are villains."

The whole class got a shock, including myself… but not from what he'd said, no. From what appeared from the portal- Not just one Nomu… but 2 big ones and about 5 small ones! Bird beak and no-eyes were the main issue!

"Aizawa, that hand fetish one is 100% the guy I saw out the front." I confirmed his thoughts before he could even voice them. The rest of the class had questioning looks- "I saw this guy being suspicious the other day, we thought he might be up to something and lo and behold here he is again… I was right but it'd be better if I wasn't."

I looked at Aizawa, he knew I had the regeneration and adaptation- "You'll probably get me in trouble later but like hell you're going in alone."

"No, you should get out of-" I cut him off- "You know what I'm capable of, with this many villains it wouldn't surprise me if they can spare the numbers to chase after the main group- we need to keep them occupied, and damn if I'm not good at drawing attention."

He was faltering and knew he probably couldn't convince me, I assured him a bit more- "I'm with you, Kaori's with the main group- That's both our heaviest hitters being used the best, I'm close to indestructible which works for keeping attention and she's much faster and can fly- perfect for getting out and calling for assistance!"

He took one long annoyed breath before- "Fine! Kaori, stay with the main group until you get outside, then immediately get help. Alex! You're with me, draw attention but don't put yourself in front of anything you even suspect can hurt you… also after this is over I'm giving you detention!"

I flashed my demonic smile at him- "Sounds good, lets go knock some heads!" I heard Thirteen sigh before leading the rest of the class toward the entrance.

Meanwhile both of us raced down the main staircase towards the invaders- Aizawa graceful like a cat and me looking like a rogue bulldozer! I made sure to 'softly' impact the villains- a few broken bones was acceptable in my books, and so every single one that got in my way ended up being flung away or picked up and thrown at someone else.

Aizawa on the other hand used pure skill to bring down all his opponents- redirecting their own force or capitalizing on their weaknesses- over-reliance on Quirks or lack of combat training.

While we were both making decent progress forward, Aizawa couldn't avoid blinking and Kurogiri took this chance to portal his way in front of the rest of the class and thirteen.

This time though… Aizawa had me- "Go help them! I'll keep these scrubs busy!" I said while starting a (non-fatal) rampage as I sped up and started taking out more of the riff-raff.

Aizawa didn't have to be told twice as he instantly ran back towards the class unimpeded… This obviously wasn't what hand freak wanted as he ordered Bird Beak forward to intercept him.

"I WON'T LET YOU!" I yelled while ramming into the Nomu- sending it flying back toward the water fountain. Now that got their attention! I turned on the heat- not high enough to kill but certainly high enough to make getting anywhere near me a pain… literally!

"All nomus… Kill that… thing." Hand freaks' raspy voice was finally heard and of course it was a kill order!

Bird beak got back up and charged me… as did his mostly similar twin with no eyes… and the 5 smaller pale skinned Nomus. Eyeless was the first to reach me- it sent a fist toward me and I responded in kind, both our fists meeting in the middle and the Nomus arm shattering… it didn't slow down or flinch as it simply sent the other arm in too.

This arm I redirected and grabbed- I then spun and sent eyeless flying toward bird beak- I need to get rid of the small fry first! I didn't dodge the hits of the smaller Nomu's- just grabbed one, opened its mouth and spewed lava down its throat- good luck healing from that!

I finished off another 2 with lightning and bisection respectively before Bird Beak and Eyeless got back to me. I grabbed both their fists and tried to zap them- it worked but didn't manage to get all the way through… and they healed it away in no time!

While my hands were busy I grabbed another weaker Nomu with my foot General Grievous style and slammed it into the ground and heard a 'pop'. 1 small fry left!

I laser eyed Eyeless and cut off its legs at the knee, Bird Beak wasn't any better as I took the chance while its hands were occupied to stab it in the chest with my tail- I then flung it again toward the water fountain.

While they were healing I finally finished off the final small Nomu by grabbing its shoulders and tearing it in half! I was now covered in blood and looking more demonic than ever… this… This felt great! I flashed the nearby villains a bloodthirsty smile with fire dripping from my lips- "Is.That.ALL?!"

The surrounding cannon fodder villains all shuddered- their supposed superweapons did next to nothing against this thing! They had a monster to fight All Might? Well it seems U.A had a monster of their own! And it was just a student! If a student was capable of this then there was no way in hell All Might wouldn't be stronger!

The group of villains took a look around- Torn and burned pieces of Nomu all over the place with the occasional whimpering villain with several broken bones… fuck this. Several villains simply ran in the opposite direction of the carnage- they came to fight heroes, not monsters!

Not all the villains lost their will though- "HOW?! HOW DID YOU DO THAT?! YOU CHEATING BASTARD!?" hand freak was losing it- "NOMUS! HOLD THAT THING DOWN!!"

I smiled at them as I ran toward both the Nomus, I even let them grab and hold both my arms! Hand freak jumped on one of their backs and reached out a hand toward my face… bad idea.

Just before he connected I was able to open my mouth wide, his hand was just about to reach my tongue when- *SNAP* -I pulled a snapping turtle maneuver and severed his hand from his arm!

The hand was turned to ash as I spat a glob of lava toward him- even while in serious pain he had enough brain power left to dodge as it sailed over him and landed in the water fountain- causing a massive steam explosion.

My arms weren't idle either as I dug my claws into the Nomus and absorbed their energy, they both then slumped off of me. Hand freak was enraged, in pain and scared, he looked a bit similar to Katsuki actually- "Cheating bastard cheating bastard cheating bastard cheatingbastardcheatingbastardcheatingbastardCHEATING BASTARD!"

The little freak started having a tantrum, either calling me a cheater or yelling at the Nomus to do something. I could end him here… stop him from hurting others, he certainly had an escape route out of here either from the portal villain or that vomit teleportation power… should I just…

In the 2 seconds I was thinking about ending him Bird Beak got back up and punched me in the back… or tried to. I wasn't holding back this time and my senses were tuned to my surroundings.

I moved out of the way as it stumbled past me, I noticed Eyeless was also about to get back up… their positioning gave me an idea! I quickly put myself behind Bird beak and grabbed it around the waist- I was over a foot taller so I had to really bend my knees and get low.

Once I had a good grip I lifted the Nomu off its feet and tilted backward… and slammed it headfirst into Eyeless! I'd just suplexed one Nomu… into another Nomu! The impact literally drove Bird Beak's head right into Eyeless' torso and straight into the ground.

Hand freak, the rubble and several injured or unconscious villains 'bounced' as the ground lowered a few feet around the point of impact. This time I made sure they'd stay down as while they were still stuck in each other and healing I filled the pit with lava, laser beams and lightning just to be sure they wouldn't get back up.

I then walked out of the fiery pit toward Shigaraki… I finally remembered this twerp's name. He was close to crying while clutching his head, before I could reach him he was covered in a black liquid- his getaway I'd bet… I'll leave him with a little present.

I used my laser eyes to quickly cut off his other hands… both the ones he was wearing and the one he still had attached. He gave me a final wrath filled glare before he disappeared.

Now… I looked around, no villain had stayed to fight me. I guess I should check on everyone else?

A little earlier with the rest of the class…

As everyone approached the entrance Kurogiri appeared, he gave the speech about being here to kill All Might before teleporting everyone to different locations… or trying to- he was cut off by laser beams shearing the purple cloud apart… it didn't hurt but he wouldn't be able to work like this!

Meanwhile this bought enough time for Thirteen to gather the students behind her as she uncapped the finger portion of her suit and attacked Kurogiri! His mist was sucked in as he let off a piercing scream!

He quickly placed a portal behind her and next to the students… before connecting it to her front! In that split second her black hole power appeared next to the class… something that would be absolutely fatal… if not for Kaori instantly appearing between them.

She was extremely tough, so it didn't immediately turn her to dust, but her clothes were and her skin was being peeled off! In the second it took Thirteen to disable her power Kaori had lost an arm, a leg and several portions of the skin around her chest.

The rest of the class was horrified as Kaori slumped over and Aizawa appeared. He took one look at her and a dark expression came over his face! He cursed himself for blinking earlier and made sure to keep his eyes firmly locked on this villainous sack of shit this time around!

The bastard had known he was coming too and so had teleported in several other villains right as he reached the top of the stairs. "Tenya! I'm stopping his power! Get out of here now and get help!" There were still several villains in the area and the ones Alex was keeping busy… He'd already failed to keep his students safe but he'd be damned if he let one of them die!

Alex present POV

I raced to the top of the stairs after hulk hopping halfway up. As I appeared at the top I saw something… interesting. Kaori was extremely heavily injured and the rest of the class and Aizawa were fighting a ragtag group of villains- Kurogiri and Thirteen were both eyeballing each other… which was weird how I could tell when neither of them had easily trackable eyes.

Nevertheless things changed now that I was here! Kurogiri instantly looked panicked and the villains shuddered! I ran forward and took the weight off Aizawa's shoulders, these small fries weren't worth a damn compared to the Nomus! The rest of the class also got some breathing room and turned to look at me… oh yeah. I'm still covered in blood… I really should have taken a dip in the fountain before coming here.
