29 Choices

I upped the heat momentarily and vaporized all the blood and… 'pieces' I was covered in… I also badly burned a stone-skinned villain who was trying to grapple me. I noticed a few students start vomiting in the background as the smell of cooked meat reached them.

I ignored it. I had a bigger problem… How the hell do I catch someone with a teleport ability? I didn't want to block Aizawa's line of sight and let him escape. The last of the small fry villains were going down so I hoped Aizawa had a plan, cos I sure as hell didn't.

*BOOM*

Took him long enough…

The door into the USJ broke apart in a massive cloud of dust and debris… confident steps were heard from behind the cloud.

"It's fine now!" An absolutely furious All Might emerged- blowing the dust away.

"I am here!" He looked around at the crying students… and Kaori on the ground- "I had a bad feeling… it seems I was right, Young Iida told me what had happened.

He paused before saying- "BUT IT'S FINE NOW! BECAUSE I AM HERE!" while tearing off his tie!

The main bad guys were already gone but it still looked badass. He quickly knocked out every villain around me- I could have dealt with them myself at the same speed… They just wouldn't have ever gotten back up.

He then looked at Kurogiri who was still locked down by Aizawa. He winded up his fist before sending a massive wave of air at him dispersing his mist! Kurogiri's body was revealed as only his hands and head remained so… misty I guess?

Anyway… a quick tap (with a lot more force than I think was necessary) was applied to the back of Kurogiris brace as he was driven face first into the concrete by All Might! Well… now we just have to scour the place and get rid of all the fodder they brought along.

I looked at Kaori on the ground… if I ever wanted to get rid of her… now was my best chance. It'd ruin my chances of becoming a hero, even if these idiots didn't know what I was saving them from… no amount of explaining would work.

Maybe I can make it look like an acci- *Crunch*

What? I looked at where the sound came from. Kaori… moved. Her remaining arm grabbed the concrete- digging right into it as she pulled her face off the ground. Everyone was so surprised that they didn't move as all of her skin became silver in color and the 'blood' she had leaked retracted back into her arm.

Then she- along with a few pieces of rubble began floating upward and, without another word- flew at insane speeds out of the USJ building. Huh… She didn't look like she had insane regen so maybe when I next see her I'll not have wasted my chance.

All Might didn't stay still, he simply told Aizawa to keep an eye on the teleporter while he cleaned up the remaining scattered villains, then told us all to evacuate. He then sped off deeper into the USJ to apprehend them.

Several students including myself wanted to stay and lend some assistance. Before I could just walk back down the stairs Aizawa spoke up- "Alex, stay a minute. I need details on what happened." He 'nicely' asked me to stay while sporting a hard look… yet still looking at Kurogiri.

…how the hell do I explain a Nomu? For that matter, how do I make myself not look like a psychopath even when they do know?

Actually… I've got a good idea… one that might cause even more problems for these idiots, perhaps a dose of meta knowledge oughta throw a wrench into things, well… a bigger wrench than me.

"I can tell you, but I don't want anyone else hearing." Now that sounded suspicious so I added some context- "That guy with the hands blabbed a whole bunch of info to me- If we wake up misty guy here, he should be able to confirm what I'm saying too." That last part I'd spoken at a low volume hoping only he'd be able to hear it.

I could already see him preparing to refuse so I cut him off- "Listen, I know I looked like someone fresh out of a slaughter house when you saw me, but I have a damn good reason for that, the info I have is very sensitive and if what he said is true then this is way worse than it looks."

"Worse? Than a mass villain invasion?!" he didn't believe me. Meta knowledge don't fail me now! I went down on one knee next to him- "This involves All For One."

And suddenly he switched up his tune. "WHAT?!" he damn near yelled at me.

"SHHHH! Bring it down a notch! I can't say everything but just know that he's involved. So now are you willing to hear me out?"

He wanted to listen but couldn't leave while Kurogiri was still down. But maybe I could restrain him? "Let me try something. I might be able to stop him from teleporting."

Aizawa was still shaken up from everything that had happened plus my revelation so he didn't stop me as my hand rested on Kurogiri's 'head'. Now my plan was simple- If the teleportation requires energy I'll simply siphon enough to make teleportation impossible… or make it so he can only teleport small things.

I didn't have to cut him since the moment my hand touched his 'head' I felt all the energy running through him, I felt the massive storage of what I assumed was mist? That… that's really damn complicated. The mist contained an absolute boatload of energy… hell he actually had even more than me!

I absorbed a tiny bit, instead of being stored I felt it instantly get drawn into my… heart… stomach?... reactor thing. Tasty. I was so caught up in the taste that I didn't notice the flicker of purple running up my arm.

Aizawa just watched the process while keeping a close eye on both me and my lunch.

Well… don't mind if I do. I began absorbing the mist while using electric vision among others to observe his vitals and see if he had any negative reactions. Nothing, I took this as a good sign and changed the trickle I was stealing to an open dam.

It took about a minute before he was empty… besides what made up his physical… or I guess non-physical body of course. I monitored him and found that he was generating more mist… not enough for anything substantial and it'd maybe take a day or two for him to be able to teleport a cat, let alone himself… maybe I can convince them to allow me to see misty here again.

"I'm done, he won't be able to teleport himself for at least a day. all the same, keep an eye on him." I said so while removing my hand from Kurogiri.

Next problem- "So… I'm assuming you know how to wake him up?"

Aizawa gave me a deadpan stare.

"What? I could zap him but I'm not proficient enough to guarantee I won't kill him."

He sighed and grabbed Kurogiri's collar before violently shaking him around. Ah, I guess that was also an option.

I saw Kurogiri's yellow eyes groggily shift before he started groaning- "Ughhh…. Wh-Where am I?" He opened his eyes just to see Aizawa staring him down and me blocking all the light and towering menacingly over them both… if that wasn't bad enough he felt like he'd overtaxed his quirk and been hit by a truck.

Despite the obvious futility he tried to teleport away, he couldn't create a portal and even if he could, he felt that he didn't have enough mist to transport anything larger than a toothpick.

"As funny as watching you try and escape is, I'd like you to listen up for a second." I got his attention while nudging Aizawa to make sure he didn't compromise the bullshit I was gonna feed Kurogiri.

I had his attention but he was clamming up probably thinking I was gonna interrogate him. "So listen, I had some time with Shigaraki, he told me about All for One leading your little club of losers."

Kurogiri wasn't trained to control his facial expressions or body language- I mean why would they train someone almost impossible to capture? This made it extremely easy for Aizawa to see how he flinched and started panicking upon hearing me mention his boss and Shigaraki's name.

I continued- "He also told me about Gigantomachia, about that creepy scientist making artificial bodies so that All for One could insert quirks into them and make them perfect unstoppable soldiers… about your hideout being in a bar and your plans to kill All Might."

Every new thing mentioned caused him to flinch or shift his eyes around in panic, I hoped this would get me off the hook for my brutal fight with the Nomus. I looked at Aizawa while raising a single brow- am I no longer considered a nutjob?

Meanwhile Aizawa's internal thoughts- ~Fuck. While this doesn't prove anything definitively, it makes a damn good case for him being right about this being far worse than we initially thought. I need to inform Nezu immediately, once we verify everything we'll need to start up a massive hunt… someone like All for One goes beyond being bad and straight into horrific.~

What he actually said was- "Keep this under wraps. We'll verify things with Nezu later… you're not off the hook yet though, you're getting detention later and explaining to Mirko why you were covered in blood."

"...Fine." I grudgingly accepted.

League of Villains Hideout

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Shigaraki screamed as the doctor struggled to apply the painkillers, if it weren't for Shigaraki's lack of hands he would have already reduced the poor man to dust.

"I'LL KILL THEM ALL, TURN THEM ALL INTO ASHES! I'LL MAKE THAT CHEATING BASTARD BEG FOR MERCY AS I DESTROY EVERYTHING HE CARES ABOUT! I'LL KILL THEM! KILLTHEMKILLTHEMKILLTHEMKILLKILLKILL!!!" The doctor was finally able to hold him still enough to knock him out, his final screams about killing them echoed around the now empty bar.

All for One was standing directly behind the doctor and got to witness his protege losing his sanity. How did this happen?! The increased security and warnings from his informant made him allow extra Nomu's to join the attack to protect Shigaraki… just for him to still end up like this?

If that wasn't bad enough he'd lost Kurogiri! Useless! He wasn't just a simple member, he was a form of transport and the greatest shield or escape path! He had to get him out or kill him if that wasn't possible! The operation shouldn't have gone this badly! Even his worst case scenarios were leagues better than this!

He knew how heroes were, about their pathetic need to uphold their image and what they thought was right. He glanced at the stumps on Shigaraki's arms… whatever did this wasn't a hero. He looked at the file of the student who had messed up his plans, Alex Usagiyama… publicly said to have a quirk called… reactor?

He kept reading; allows the user to manipulate his internal energy in a multitude of different ways including body enhancement and pyrokinesis?… bullshit! He then read the info the informant had sent him; Subject demonstrates extreme strength, speed, durability and stamina. fire/napalm generation, heat aura, hyper regeneration, unknown sensory enhancements and possible poison and venom immunity.

This was too much! And what did they mean possibly?! This was bad, really bad! Just the first sentence was enough to have possibly called off the attack, he'd simply dismissed it as an over-exaggeration, afterall… the only others to be classified as extreme in strength and speed was All Might or the Nomus! And the reason he was sure the Nomus would win was because of their extreme durability, stamina and regeneration… And this kid had them all!

He couldn't allow a hero like this to appear! He either had to be killed or converted into a Nomu!... Yet even still… he wondered if he might be able to take such amazing abilities for himself. The regeneration he'd demonstrated alone would be enough to bring him back to his peak!... But he'll stick to offing him for now, if the chance appears though? He won't hesitate to fix his current state!

He looked back down at Shigaraki… at the broken puppet of his. His hands were destroyed which meant his quirk wouldn't work… it seems he'd need to transplant and attach new ones or get his hands (not a pun) on a healing quirk. But he'd make sure Shigaraki would get his revenge… or at least return the favor… He eyed a nearby needle with transparent fluid.

Nezu POV

What… is this? Kaori had just flown into my office looking like the victim of a serial killer while asking me to 'repair' her. Repair… not heal. I hadn't asked questions and simply told her to follow me to my workshop… she'd instead picked me up and said to direct her. I'd also just received the notification that Tenya had informed the teachers of an attack, I quickly messaged the others to head to the dome while I healed Kaori.

Now, this either meant she was completely covered in prosthetics and grafted skin… or that she wasn't a biological being… At least not entirely. Prosthetics were unlikely but still possible, the other option included her quirk possibly making her more machine-like… or maybe she actually was a machine, again unlikely yet possible.

After pulling up the front of my workshop and getting through the several biometric scans we were allowed inside. I directed her to a table while I set the machines to scan her as I also began operating some for a closer look. There wasn't any actual blood, there wasn't any bone… there wasn't any biological matter at all!

Everything… was made from nanomachines! And they were made of unknown materials to boot! They formed her body and emulated living structures… she was alive and… not? It was like someone had fused a living being and a machine together, she bled but it wasn't blood, her heart pumped but it wasn't necessary, she had eyes when anywhere on her body could see.

And the material it was made from? He'd never seen a material so close to indestructible! She should be practically invulnerable! It should be a tough material with unparalleled rigidity, yet some process of her body made it malleable! How was she even hurt?!

She wasn't at threat of dying, far from it. She'd simply sustained damage and didn't have the extra material to repair it. Her body was fixing itself but she didn't have enough of this strange material to 'grow' her limbs back.

For the first time in his life, Nezu was stumped.

Thirteen POV

I'd nearly killed a student. My quirk which was so incredibly powerful yet deadly… the quirk which I'd trained most of my life to only use for peace… had crippled and nearly killed one of the people I tried to protect. Tears welled up in my eyes, I hope she lives… I-I don't know what I'll do if she doesn't.

She'd dedicated her entire hero career to being without bloodshed and battle, she'd wanted to prove how extremely dangerous quirks could be used for good. She'd been laughed at and ridiculed, been told flat out that her quirk was evil and destructive… yet still persevered. All of that only to end up here.

I couldn't even stop the other remaining villains! I had to hide behind my students and colleagues as they dealt with the threat. I was a failure as a teacher. The split second of seeing Kaori get torn apart kept repeating as I waited near the entrance. Please, Please be all right!

All Might POV

What the hell happened here?! Tens of villains lay strewn about with broken bones and burned skin. Yet these were nothing in comparison to the blood, oh so much blood. It had solidified into a dark red and black mark onto the ground. Some of the villains had been literally torn apart, burnt to a crisp or crushed! He nearly vomited at the sight of a pale white skinned villain whose head was crushed as was evident by the blackened footprint where his head should have been.

Another identical villain had his jaw extended and broken with a burnt throat and a melted stomach! And It kept getting worse the further he went in! The smell of burnt meat invaded his nose with every step, the fountain had evaporated and near where it stood was a glowing pit of fire… a single large cooked hand grabbing the lip of the crater.

He couldn't help it- he vomited. This actually made things even worse as it quickly evaporated upon hitting the ground. This… This was pure carnage! Who or what did this?!

Alex POV

Ew, I have bits of Nomu stuck between my toes! I was currently at a nearby hose getting all the grime, ash, blood and missed pieces off of me. I couldn't just burn everything off, Aizawa had told me to get rid of it like a normal person and that if he smelled barbeque again I could consider myself expelled.

While sitting under the hose (the fire hose) I had some time for shower thoughts. I wonder just how much I've fucked up the plot? I know the manga had a lot more chapters than I'd read, and I remember they seemed to have dealt with All for One fairly early. I guess this is fine then.

…I hope they don't cancel the sports festival, I'm looking forward to messing around with the speech and going full juggernaut on the obstacle course. There was also a certain tech maniac I wanted to meet and get some tips from.

I kept showering off the gore while thinking idle thoughts, I didn't notice a certain sparkly blonde and green haired nerd eyeing me warily in contemplation.
