Chapter 5 - Bunker Completion and Special Basic Roll

[ 3rd Person View ]

"I think the Bunker's construction should be done by now, actually... I'm pretty sure that we already spent way more than 5 minutes talking," said Zahard as got up from where they once sat.

'System, Is the Bunker Construction done?'

[ Yes, It's been done for the past 30 minutes or so host. ]

"We actually spent 30 minutes talking, hahahaha," Zahard laughed as he closed the system HUD.

"Let's check out the bunker shall we?" said Zahard as he gestured Scáthach to follow him.

Zahard and Scáthach then averted their gaze to the place where the bunker should be located, they saw a hatch that was placed on the ground.

"Oh, the entrance was actually much simpler than i though, not that i mind though," Zahard shrugged.

Zahard opened the hatch and went inside it with Scáthach following behind him, It looked like the bunker was much deeper than Zahard originally thought.

After climbing down the long staircase, they finally arrived at the actual entrance to enter the bunker itself, Zahard proceeded to open the seemingly impenetrable hatch to enter.

Once Zahard entered, he was shocked by what he saw, he never expected the inside of the bunker to be akin to a room of a condo, and this is only the living room.

"System, what are the contents of the bunker?"

[ The Bunker is made out of a very thick cement wall to block the Radiation in case... ] The System was cut off by Zahard.

"No i meant what are the available facilities in the bunker," Zahard corrected his order to the System.

[ The Bunker has a living room, a fully functional bathroom which include a bathtub fit for 2 people, 3 bedrooms which includes a master bedroom, a storage facility where you can store any objects that you desire to store equipped with a temperature controller, a fully equipped and functional kitchen with all the necessary tools for baking or cooking, an operating room which has an enhanced ventilating system that filters smoke and contaminated air more efficiently, a water purifying system that can filter contaminated or radiated water more efficiently, it can also purify urine to turn into purified and drinkable water, the operating room also contains an enhanced electric generator with increased efficiency, meaning less fuel usage. ]

"That's a lot of information to take in, hold on... Can you put it in a simpler way?"

[ Very well, the bunker contains 1x Living Room, 2x Single Bedroom, 1x Master Bedroom, 1x Large Bathroom, 1x Large Kitchen, 1x Large Storage Facility, 1x Operating room: 1x Enhanced Ventilation System, 1x Enhanced Water Filtering System, 1x Enhanced Electric Generator. ]

[ In order to upgrade the bunker, the host needs to gather the following materials, Cement, Steel, Iron, Copper, Uranium, Any type of Wood, Carbon Fiber, and anything with Radiation stored in it. ]

"Holy shit? Is there no proper measurements for how much i need?" Zahard was overwhelmed by the upgrade requirements, the system also didn't say how much it needs which adds more to his headache.

[ I am a Gacha System host, not a Mathematical Architect Engineering System. I only specialize in rolling the Gacha, not calculating. ] Zahard could've sworn that if Scáthach's assistant had a body, it would've rolled its eyes at him.

"Then so be it, im not in a rush to upgrade anyways, i'll be staying here alone after all," said Zahard.

"How bold of you to assume that, I won't stay here, Zahard?" Scáthach grabbed Zahard's shoulder as he turned to look at Scáthach who was smiling menacingly.

"D-Don't you need to go back inside the system to ensure that all of its functions are alright to keep it from malfunctioning?" Zahard stuttered as he said that?

"I understand what you mean, but my assistant is there anyways so it wouldn't be a problem," answered Scáthach.

"Oh... I see... Well then, I surely don't mind company. I won't be alone after all, hahahaha," Zahard was laughing while Scáthach nodded.

"I still haven't tried the ||Special Basic Roll|| from the ||Gacha Roll|| function, there's also no harm in doing it now as it won't make any difference if i try it later anyways," Zahard just shrugged and opened the system HUD, and went to the ||Gacha Roll|| Function.

"Let's see... I'll do this tomorrow, I really do need sleep," Zahard said and yawned.

"Scáthach, i'll take the Master bedroom, you can take any of the 2 bedrooms to sleep, today was definitely an eventful day, although there's only 4 days left till the apocalypse,"

"I'll take the bedroom next to yours then if you don't mind," responded Scáthach.

"Sounds like a plan, i'll go and sleep now then, goodnight Scáthach, see you tomorrow," Zahard then entered his room.

"Mhm," Scáthach nodded and also entered her bedroom which was next to Zahard's room.

<5:00 A.M>

Zahard woke up and fixed his bed, he then went into the bathroom and took a bath, he brushed his teeth right after, he exited the bathroom and walked towards the kitchen and cooked food for him and Scáthach for their breakfast.

Scáthach is... Well... She is still in deep slumber while dreaming of destroying hordes and hordes of monsters, there was someone with her in that dream but she couldn't quite make out what they look like, but she saw a quick glimpse of a red haired man killing monsters with her.

After Zahard cooked breakfast for him and Scáthach, he walked towards Scáthach and entered her room only to find a drooling sleeping Scáthach, he didn't miss this chance to take a picture of her face though, unfortunately... He forgot to turned off the flash and minimize the capture sound which woke up Scáthach from her deep slumber, Zahard exited Scáthach's room with a bruises on his body and a black eye.

Zahard and Scáthach ate their breakfast and sat on the couch in the living room while turning on the flat screen TV and switched the channel to the news channel.

"The Scientist have found a strange phenomenon withing the magnetic sphere of our planet, the scientist are still investigating the cause and the effects of the Magnetic sphere irregularity. As of now, nothing has yet been uncovered and the investigation of the Irregularity still continues," The news caster on the news channel reported.

"Hey Scáthach, what are the odds of the Magnetic sphere irregularity being part of the reason of the doomsday happening?" Zahard asked Scáthach who was eating a bowl of chips.

"Information [REDACTED] Only A-Class Personels are allowed to access sensitive and secretive information," Scáthach said in response to Zahard, she was still eating her bowl of chips.

"Is the SCP-Foundation real?" Zahard jokingly asked Scáthach.

"It's actually real though," Scáthach answered, she then got up and put the bowl unto the kitchen sink to be washed.

"Wait what?" Zahard was surprised by the information reveal.

"Where is it located?" Zahard then asked again.

"Information classified, Only A-Class Personels are allowed to access sensitive and secretive information given by the foundation," Scáthach said the same answer as before.

Zahard smiled wryly with Scáthach's answer.

After a few minutes of tuning in with the news, Zahard turned the TV off and entered the ||Gacha Roll|| function.

"What are the odds of me getting F - Ranked items here Scáthach?" Zahard curiously asked.

"Your luck is an another Irregularity itself, there's no possible way I'd know," Scáthach just shrugged with Zahard's question.

"Well... Here goes nothing..." Zahard steeled himself as he mentally chose the ||Special Basic Gacha Roll||.

"A month," Scáthach answered before drinking water from the kitchen refrigerator.

"Eh.... Not bad, could've spend more," Zahard shrugged and added, "Lets see what they can do shall we?"

- Summons a random character from any fictional universe.

- The character rarity is entirely random due to the host's luck irregularity.

[ Preference Character Card ]

- Summons a character prefered by the host to summon, however the host can't say the character's name.

(E.x: Zahard says "I want a character that can create objects." then the card will summon a character that have a skill related to creation.)

- The character rarity is entirely random due to the host's luck irregularity.

[ Moonlight Blessing Scroll ]

- Heals any injuries an ally sustained with 1km radius from the host

- One time use only

- Can even heal lost limbs

[ Random Skill Card ]

- Draws a random skill

- The skill rarity is entirely random due to the host's luck irregularity

[ Skill: Foresight ]

- Grants the skill foresight

[ Box of Random Food ]

- Generates a box containing random assortments of food

[ ]

[ Moonlight Ring ]

Rarity: A+

- Grants the wearer the ability to heal a selected person {Cooldown: 1 day}.

- Can heal a lost limb in exchange for the ring's durability. (The ring will be destroyed once this skill is used)

- Grants the wearer, Enhanced Natural Regeneration, and Enhanced Mana Regeneration.

[ Box of Random Painkillers]

- Generates a box containing random pain killers.

[ ]

[ Random Weapon Card ]

- Grants a random weapon

- The weapon rarity is entirely random due to the host's luck irregularity.

[ Attack Shield ]

- Blocks any attacks that are lower than the user's strength or 1 rank higher than the user's strength.

"I've gotten pretty lucky today Scáthach, hehehehe," Zahard laughed like a maniac.

"Whatever," Despite saying that, Scáthach was happy for Zahard in her mind, she didn't express it though.

"Should i use the ||Random Character Card|| Scáthach?"

"Do, what you want to do Zahard, I can go inside the system if you summon a dangerous being anyways," Scáthach said.

Scáthach sounded serious which made Zahard shake his head in disbelief and chuckled.

Scáthach was joking, she would be ready to defend Zahard if that happens, she can't lose her friend after all... Especially Zahard.

"I think its about time I stock up on food and water before the doomsday countdown ends, I only have 3 days left after all," said Zahard.

Zahard then prepared to go outside, he changed his casual home outfit to something decent to use to go outside, he grabbed his wallet which contains his credit card where most of his money is stored, he planned to spend all of it to buy food and other important objects like tons of gasoline for the bunker's electricity.

"Do you want me to get anything for you in particular Scáthach?" Zahard asked Scáthach before leaving.

"Just some clothes for me, That's the only thing i lack, probably..." Scáthach answered.

"Got it,"

Zahard waved goodbye to Scáthach which she also reciprocated, before going outside the bunker.

'System, what is the illusion around bunker look like?'

[ A normal 2-storey house ]

'Ah... Now i know,'

Zahard then went into a shopping spree and hoarding...
