37 Chapter 31 - Right on time!

The humanoid entity's head fell to the surface of his wonderland along with his body.

Chara gasped for air, she was too exhausted because of the whole fight. The fight was dragged on for too long as she barely has any stamina left.

"Hah... He's finally dead. I told you I'd sink my knife, it's just in your neck this time. Heh-" Chara mocked the seemingly lifeless body of Sans' dad. "Hey trashbag, I just killed your dad you know? Why do you seem so unaffected?" Chara said as he noticed Sans still standing in the distance with the same laid back manner.

"Well, I would have killed you already if he died kid. Knowing him, he can't really die you know?" Sans informed Chara.

"What do you mean your dad can't die? His head is literally on the grou-" Chara's froze when she saw that the body of Sans' dad was nowhere to be found. She frantically looked around hoping to see the body but to no avail.

"Oh, He's immortal kid. In the underworld, along with Asgore, Papyrus', and I, we are the only immortal monsters there." Sans told Chara.

"Asgore? But I killed asgore countless times before! What do you mean?!" Chara asked Sans.

"In order to make that failed experiment of my father which was supposed to take us back to the surface. He needed a suitable medium to make it and the only monster that had a suitable medium was Asgore, Toriel, Papyrus, and Me." Sans sat down and stared above him.

"The medium meant a powerful soul or something equivalent to a powerful soul. Dad couldn't bear to take his own sons' soul and so he asked Toriel. Toriel agreed but when Asgore learned what my Dad and Toriel were planning to do, he volunteered to give something equivalent so as to avoid Toriel dying. Asgore had 2 Souls. The first soul represented his life and the second soul represented immortality."

"My dad's immortality, Papyrus' immortality and my immortality were the same but different from asgore. You could say our immortality was only gained when we died as a human therefore making our immortality false. Dad needed two false immortalities, or one real immortality, or even a powerful monster's soul to create the so called "Tool" to free monsters. As you know, us three are undead monsters so we don't have the soul of life with us, only false immortality. So if you target our soul directly then we'll die."

(A/N: False immortality are given to those who are already dead but turned sentient, because they are already dead they can't die of aging or natural causes but they can still die if the soul is destroyed directly, therefore false immortality. Immortality however is given to those who are still living and with immortality they won't die even if you destroy it's soul because it'll just revert back to it's old state.)

"My dad however, has... 6 Souls. I don't know how he got so many souls but he has 6 Souls, and you only took one of them which leaves him with 5 more Souls." Sans stopped talking to listen to Chara.

"All these information is making my head hurt, if he's not dead yet then where the hell is he?!" Chara asked but she felt something ominous on top of her.

"Ah fuck..." Right after Chara said that, she was pierced by a black spike.

The same bright green light shined from Chara's chest as she appeared right beside Sans.

The same black humanoid figure appeared before Chara and Sans but his eyes were glowing with a red light. "So you finally decided to introduce yourself huh? Took you a while!" Chara smirked, 'Shit, My perseverance can only handle one last death before It gets destroyed and I'll be left with determination again...' Chara thought to herself.

Sans and Chara were enveloped inside a dark dome. Red lights were radiating around the dome outside and shot multiple lasers. The laser barrage lasted for quite a while until the red lights disappeared and so did the dome.

The disappearance of the dome revealed a bloodied Chara and a fainted Sans.

Chara spat out the blood on her mouth before answering, "Heh... A one out of ten..."

4 Red scythes appeared around Chara's neck as if mimicking an execution.

"How would you like it if everything turned into Fiction, Gaster?" A voice echoed across the area. The Red scythes disappeared, The slimy substance around Gaster turned into a cloak surrounding Gaster's body, His eyes returned back to it's normal white light. Gaster was now back to his normal self before he created the dark slimy substance. It was as if it was all a dream or a nightmare..

"Took you sometime kid!" Sans yelled out.

"My bad, I told you it was a bad idea to go on different ways. I got lost for God knows how long." Zahard chuckled.

"ZAHARD!" Chara's face brightened up when she saw Zahard.

"Sorry I was late Chara!" Zahard responded.

"Who are you?!" Gaster called.

Zahard flicked his hair upwards and did an awkward pose, "I'm Chara's lover!"

Everybody within 1 billion light years from Zahard cringed when he said that, including the 2 skeletons. Chara was currently trying to process what Zahard said so she seemed like she had no reaction to Zahard's declaration.

"Hey dad... Want to temporarily team up to kill this kid?" Sans asked Gaster.

"WAIT, WHAT THE FUCK!" Zahard regretted doing the pose, he didn't regret his declaration about being Chara's lover though.

"H-how did you do it?" Gaster asked Zahard.

"Do what?" Zahard tried to make Gaster specify what he meant.

"Make my experiment go into hibernation, stopped my magic, and put all my other souls into slumber? you even fixed my first soul. What did you do?!" Gaster demanded an explanation.

"Well, it's quite simple! By the power of friendship!" Right as Zahard said that, A giant knife, a Giant dragon skull, and a Large hand appeared right in front of him.

"Say that one more time and I'll send you to jesus." the three of them said in unison.

"Okay, it's my power. Well one of my powers, I can turn everything into Fiction but since I can't control it very well, there's bound to be a big side effect from reverting everything back to normal! For example-" Blood flowed out Zahard's mouth, eyes, nose and ears as he fell towards the surface.

"Well... Practical examples are more efficient." Gaster said.

"WAIT SHIT! ZAHARD! TRASHBAG GET US OUT OF HERE! ZAHARD NEEDS HELP!" Chara turns soft everytime she is withing Zahard's presence.

"No need, I'll send you guys back. Consider it as a favor because he helped me seal my souls and my experiment." Gaster then froze when he realized something. "That kid sealed my void powers too... Son, you do it."

"What happened to your huge swing and a miss badass line dad?" Sans proceeded to do the procedure needed to open the portal. "This is going to take a while. Please give me 1 hour and 9 minutes."

(A/N: Heh, Nice. Get it? 60 minutes is 1 hour plus 9 minutes. No? Okay.)

'I can't believe that kid weakened me to this point...' Gaster thought to himself as he sat down and waited for Sans to finish.

"Okay I'm finally done. Hey kid, get the red kid back to the bunker. I have something to talk to my dad first." to which Chara answered, "You don't need to tell me what to do trashbag." Chara immediately entered the portal carrying Zahard's body.

"So.. Where's Papyrus, dad?" Sans looked at Gaster.

"He's well... He's Dead.." Gaster hesitated for a bit but figured it might be better to tell.

"I see, the red kid might be able to fix that.. I hope.." Sans told Gaster. "So, what made you have a change of heart from killing the other human kid?"

"The sudden stabilization of my emotions due to all of my other souls going to slumber. Don't get me wrong, I'd still kill that human girl but without my void powers, I'm afraid she'd kill me before I could do anything." Gaster said as he walked away towards the portal. "I'll give her another chance this time. The last time." Before Gaster could enter the portal however, a hand held him back.

"Where do you think your going dad?" Sans said.

"I figured I'd stay in your new home since I'll probably be stuck here forever until my power comes back. I don't even know if it'll come back, so I might as well follow that human girl so I could kill her when my powers are back." Gaster explained.

"Fair enough, go on." Sans let go of Gaster, letting him enter the portal.

"I'm in the mood for some hotdogs.." Sans entered the portal right after.

Before the portal could close however, a girl appeared out of another portal. The girl's appearance seemed to be that of a teenager, her hair was unnaturally long and it's color is a mix of orange, purple, and pink. She is wearing a blue sleeveless crop top that bare her midsection and a blue-green scarf wrapped around her neck with a simple blue short and a small pouch bag on the side with a bandana and another blue-green scarf wrapped around her waist.

"Hmm... Is that a portal back to runeterra? I don't know where I teleported but this place is too scary, dark, and empty. Going through that portal doesn't seem very bad right?" Said the girl as she also went through the portal.
