Chapter 12 - Cease and Timeskip (Again)
"I think it's about time you stop this meaningless farce," Scáthach said before knocking ERROR Sans out making him revert back to the Classic Sans along with Chara.
"Scáthach, where were you earlier?!" I asked Scáthach, was she sleeping through the entire ordeal?
"I was inside the System the entire time Zahard," Scáthach answered me before putting SCP-999 on Chara's head, and carrying both Sans and Chara.
"I'll be taking these guys to their own rooms," Scáthach said before going back to the first floor.
"Wait... Aren't there only 3 Rooms? One for me, Scáthach, and Sans... Where is she going to put Chara?!" I am so confused right now...
[ As the Host upgrades the bunker, the other existing floors will also increase in size, meaning some additional facilities may get added in the already existing floor when increased in size with the upgrade. ]
[ In this case, the first floor has got 2 additional bedrooms, and 1 new Bathroom. ]
"Oh.... I see. Now my problem is how to avoid Chara killing me and Sans."
[ Would host like to activate safety mode? ]
".... Why didn't you show that the bunker could do this before?"
[ This mode is also the result of host's bunker upgrade. When this mode is activated, no one can hurt anyone as a transparent unbreakable shield will envelop their entire body. ]
"Well... This is... Awfully convenient ain't it?"
[ The only place where a person can get hurt inside the bunker is in the Sparring field but killing is not allowed. ]
"Now that makes sense, I should probably tell Sans about this so he can rest easy."
I climbed back up to the first floor only to see Scáthach watching a show on the T.V and Sans cooking himself a hotdog while Chara was on top of his shoulder trying to stab him.
"Hey kid, I assume that you did this? There seems to be an impenetrable enveloping all of us which avoids us hurting each other in any possible way." Sans casually says like he didn't went through a near death experience.
"Heh... Don't sweat the details kid, since this human girl cant hurt me in anyway then there's no use in worrying. Anyways my hotdogs are cooked, you should eat something yourself kid." Sans said before going to the kitchen table, Chara was still on his shoulder trying to be stab him though.
".... I think my brain is malfunctioning here... Hold on..." I said as massaged my temples.
"I thought your brain was already malfunctioning since from the start Zahard," Scáthach said.
"Back to you Scáthach, anyways... If it isn't too much to ask... Can you train me?" Just right after i said that, Scáthach instantly stood up from the couch and dragged me by the collar of my shirt to the training area.
"Arghhhhh, Why can't I stab you, you smiley trashbag?!" Chara said as she kept trying to stab Sans.
"Heh... You should take a break from commiting Genocide sometimes Chara, Isn't it too much of a work for you? You should hold unto this Orange slime instead of that worn out knife," Sans said as he picked up SCP-999 who was nuzzling at his feet, and placed it on Chara's head.
"What the hell is this monster?!" Chara complained seeing SCP-999 on her head.
SCP-999 then became sad as its gurgles became gloomy after it was called a monster by Chara.
Chara seeing this, even her overly genocidal nature was subdued as she stopped trying to stab Sans and got off his shoulder, she left to her own room while hugging SCP-999 who was now gurgling happily.
"Heh... That Orange slime really works wonders eh?" said Sans before continuing eating.
"Seems like even if that human girl is here, I can still live without worries with that kid Zahard and his lover Scáthach. Well seeing as that purple haired girl Scáthach always gets flustered near him, although the red haired kid Zahard can't see it as she was giving it her all in suppressing her flustered expression when talking with that kid Zahard, its already fated for them to be together. It can't escape my empathy after all. Heh... They already became like my second family in just over a week, there's no way I could not know about my family's feelings. I should get back to sleep." Sans thought to himself before heading back to his room to sleep.
<Meanwhile in the Training room>
[ 3rd Person View ]
"HOW MANY PUSH-UPS DO YOU NEED ME TO DO SCÁTHACH, I'M ALREADY TIRED IN 214!" Zahard complained at Scáthach, so the hellish training was true!
"Instead of complaining, how about you concentrate on your training? You still have 786 push-ups left you know?" Scáthach said.
'I'm sorry Zahard, but you really need this so you could get strong and not rely too much on the System given skills and on your companions' Scáthach thought in her mind.
Zahard was also think the same thing as Scáthach, 'She's right... Complaining won't help me get stronger, but this hellish training can! I can't stay the weakest in this group right?' Zahard thought to himself as he smiled, which didn't go unnoticed by Scáthach.
'Seems like he was thinking the same thing i did,' Scáthach smiled on her mind.
{Timeskip}
Two days after summoning Chara, things have been quite peaceful... Well that's because I could bribe Chara with chocolates, she also tend to stick to me whenever im mot training and asks for chocolates, she would also carry SCP-999.
Strangely enough, Scáthach seemed to get pissed off when Chara sticks with me. She's jealous isn't she?
Right now, only 1 hour is left till the Second Phase begins and I'm also being accompanied by Sans on the living room, we found out that we have an outdoor camera which can be toggled off and on through the T.V so we decided to watch the Mystical Rainfall happening.
"What are you two even watching in the T.V." asked Chara who was holding SCP-999, she is calmer than a waveless sea when holding SCP-999.
"Heh... We wanted to see a Rainfall happening in an hour kid," Sans answered Chara.
"Call me kid again and i'll kill you, you smiley trashbag," Chara said with her creepy and unnerving smile again. Okay maybe not as calm as i said earlier but at least she isn't as aggressive as before.
"Calm down Chara," I told her.
"I'm 18 you smiley trashbag!" Chara said before finally keeping quiet and sitting on the floor and watched the camera.
Hm... I never really paid attention before but... Chara wasn't 18 years old in the game right? But Parallel worlds are a thing so who cares, Sans seemed to also come from the same Parallel world as she didn't react with her age. The Sans in the game would've reacted if Chara suddenly aged.
"Why don't we just play Smash bros while waiting for the rainfall?" I suggested, it would be boring to just look at the boring scenery from the outdoor cam right?
"Heh... Sure kid," Sans agreed.
"What is that game even? But sure..." Chara also agreed.
"Scáthach! Do you want to play with us?" I asked Scáthach who was making herself a peanut butter sandwich.
"Sure, why not?" I guess all of them agreed.
So we played Smash bros, Sans picked Sans, I picked Pikachu, Chara picked Link, and Scáthach picked princess peach.
Chara was getting pissed off as she was getting pummeled by Sans, meanwhile me and Scáthach were trying to defeat each other. Only in this game is it possible for me to defeat Scáthach heh...
We played smash bros till the system gave me a notification.
[ Doomsday Second Phase: Mystical Rainfall, will begin in approximately: 20s ]
"Guys, it seems like its will start in a bit, lets switch the view to the outdoor camera."
[ 5... ]
[ 4... ]
[ 3... ]
[ 2... ]
[ 1... ]
[ Doomsday Second Phase: Mystical Rain is now starting, time left until ending: 23h/58m/49s ]
"Heh... That is definitely a mystical looking rainfall, I can also feel my mana replenishing, albeit slowly but surely," Sans commented.
"I don't have mana, so I don't know what this Smiley Trashbag is talking about, mind explaining it to me Zahard?" Chara asked me. Scáthach was ticked off again, and Chara saw that she was being ticked off and only smiled.
<Inside Scáthach>
She's really doing all this just to mess with me as she knows I get irritated when she tries to get close to Zahard, and I hate the fact that it's working! I don't know since when I started feeling this way, there's no way that i could like him in just a week right? But why do I get annoyed when a girl gets close to him?
<Back to Zahard>
After explaining it to Chara, Scáthach called me down to the second floor to start our training again.
She suddenly became stricter today, Is jealousy really this powerful?!
After 1500 Push-ups, Sit-ups, etc... She ordered me to have a spar with her, which i obviously accepted as it can help me get stronger.
The sparring session didn't last long as i got mercilessly beaten up by Scáthach who seemed to be refreshed now like she just got to release her pent up frustration. I'm still miles away from putting up a good fight with her though.
And so this cycle continued for a month....

(A/N: A month worth of timeskip is next, the reason why I timeskipped for a month is because... Let's be honest, Weak monsters = Easy to beat monsters monsters, and Easy to beat monsters = Boring Monsters and it cant even help the mc get stronger as much as training with Scáthach is because the MC could just use ||Stone Gaze|| on them and be done with it, no stats improvement at all if that's the case so i hope you understand.)
(A/N: Another part of the reason of why i chose a month is to give those readers that wanted special gacha rolls, 3 special gacha rolls so they could be satisfied, I will decide what kind of item will drop by using a roulette, i will separate it by Characters, equipments, scroll, materials, technology, skills, and miscalleneous stuff like food and medicine.)
