A blur of white feathers flew past Emery's vision, landing on Amelia before she could even react. It slammed its beak into her face multiple times, beating its wings rapidly to stay afloat.

"BAK! BAK! BAK!"

The blows didn't look very powerful, but she skidded back every few seconds, indicating that his new summon wasn't something to look down on.

He appreciated that fact especially, but how in the hell did that even happen? All the creature's attacks did far more damage to Amelia than anything he or Citro had ever done before.

And it didn't even look like the attacks were being fueled by energy or any supernatural powers.

The chicken was… strong?

While he still had the opportunity, Emery checked the status of the bird
