They joined the others in the living room. The formality of dress varied from Kevin, who preferred being called Miss Tressa DeVine amongst the group and wore a forest green chiffon evening gown with pearl accessories and a flowing auburn wig, to Simon, A.K.A. Tilly Steele, who wore corduroys and a holiday sweater over fake breasts and had his hair styled to look more like a pixie cut than his natural men’s haircut. Leslie was the only true trans-woman among them, the other eight Fabulettes were simply men who enjoyed performing and feeling sexy in women’s clothing, as a hobby or second job rather than a lifestyle. No one at Kellan’s factory job would have suspected their burly black coworker had a hobby like this, but that added to the fun.
