Who pushed the button

Ella's pov

I was so bored at home, I actually thought if we had vacated from the holiday , I will be free. But I was wrong , home is so boring.

my mum was already getting for work. She has never told me where she works.

" mum I want to follow u to work"

" no"

she replied bluntly.

" why"

" I said no"

I got so angry.

" mum, as ur daughter , I need to know where u work. Why can't I know. Or are u a kidnapper or a human trafficker"

I received a hard slap on my cheek.

" u don't abuse ur mum like that"

I burst into fake tears. My mum sighed.

" fine , u can follow me"

I smiled. it always work every time.

Happily, I followed my mum into the car. it took almost 30 mins . We arrived at a very big tunnel. I wonder the type of work they do there.

I followed my mum inside . The place was really scary, there were a lot of beasts trapped in a cage. But I noticed a special beast being kept in a different cage.

I entered my office.

" stay here and don't do anything'

I sat on the chair doing nothing. After about 30 mins I got bored and sat down . My hands mistakenly touched a button.

After pushing the button, I heard screams from outside . I ran outside and saw a lot of people running. someone looked at me.

" run for ur life"

all the doors automatically close up. There I saw a beast running towards my direction.

I was glued to the floor, I couldn't move my legs . I closed my eyes saying my last prayers.

The beast stood right in my direction and stared at me. I also stared at it.

I noticed it has blue eyes.

Just as it was about to get closer , It got shot from behind.

it screams in pain , I felt bad for the poor thing. I ran away immediately.

My mum ran to hug me

" Thank God u are okay
