There was a month remaining till the awakening of those kids.

Their core was almost fully formed. They have been in hard training to make their body fit for the elan particles that they would have to handle.

Jonas was pretty excited by the element, he would awaken in the Federal test Centre.

"Dad what do you think, I will awaken, " Jonas asked toward his father.

Jonas was in his usual good mood.

His father was checking his hologen. His was an advanced one. Unlike Jonas who can only see the projection of hologram. Arnas can touch the hologram and even manipulate it.

"Getaway already and prepare for the marathon, " Said Arnas trying to push away Jonas.

Arnas was seriously annoyed, It's been the umpteenth time Jonas has asked him the same question. He got away from the chair he was sitting in and started walking toward the refrigerator.

"But Dad I am fully prepared for it, no one can beat me, " said Jonas patting his chest while walking toward his father.

His father took a can of juice from the refrigerator, opening it.

Arnas opened the drink taking a sip from it. With a can of drink fiddling in his hand, he walked toward Jonas.

"Your friends are preparing day and night for it, what are you doing here?" Arnas said in a somewhat high tone while his punch rubbed on top of Jonas's head.

"Aiyo, no father I will go, I will train day and night for it, " Empty promises sounded from Jonas as pressure on his head gradually increased.

Listening to his promise Arnas loosened his hand from his head as Jonas ran for his life.

"Hahaha, " Nasha came laughing from the kitchen.

"He is the same old," she said as she sat on the sofa.

"How is the preparation going for the marathon, " Nasha asked looking toward Arnas.

Arnas watched as Jonas ran out from the villa's back entrance toward the backyard.

The backyard can be regarded as Jonas's main base as well as his emergency home. Whenever he was in rebellion with his parents. He would always pack some of the belongings, walking into the treehouse.

"Why not call Silvos, and ask him about it?" Said Arnas as he connected with Silvos through the video call.

Silvos was in the middle of managing and guiding the people. He was responsible for the marathon, which would be held in two days. So he had been working tirelessly to make it good.

In the middle of barren ground, a dome has been built to entertain the people as they watch the projection on the screen.

A structure large enough to accommodate around 1000 max. crowd. With a screen placed to show them the marathon as the kids ran for it.

If you look around, you can see trucks of the same sizes carrying the name- Anjos Restaurant.

You can see many police and guards carrying around their weapons patrolling across the area.

This all started a month ago...

POV A Month ago

Jonas was running through the tracks, that was chosen by his father for his training. He had sweat on his forehead, his fingers and legs trembled from time to time.

This was the last training in today's schedule. He was feeling very tired as he could fall asleep at any time, his whole body was aching. But he gritted his teeth, as he continued.

This was a habit and an instinct he had developed over the two years.

He had a voice in his brain that kept saying to him to move forward, a little more and you can do it.

Unlike his past, when his inner demon would say to him, 'You have done enough, now rest'. He had changed a lot. His breath was steady as he convinced himself 'It's 3more Kms and I would be done with it '.

While Jonas was running as if he wouldn't see another day if he stopped, his parents were there watching him, as they discussed something.

"He has been training hard," said Nasha as she watched Jonas with emotion in her eyes.

"Yes"

"It's about 2 months from his awakening," said Nasha as she gave some vitality to Jonas. Jonas didn't notice it as he was immersed in running toward his goal.

"Why don't we arrange something fun for him," said Arnas as something clicked in his mind while he watched as Jonas ran.

"Why don't we arrange a marathon for him and his friends, " Arnas said excitedly looking at his wife.

Nasha was surprised by her husband's excitement, but she understood his emotion and said, "Good idea".

Jonas ran, the alarm indicating his completion rang. Jonas was on the ground, he had fallen asleep just after completing his goal.

In the office of the headmaster of apple valley school. Arnas and the principal were sitting on their chair with a calm expression on their faces.

"I understand it, you want to organise a marathon for those 8-year kids, " said Headmaster with calmness.

Arnas was quite surprised by his calmness. The people who meet him or walk near him always get nervous due to the aura surrounding them.

"Yes, Anjos Restaurant will be the sponsor," said Arnas without changing his face.

Arnas had told the headmaster about his plan to hold a marathon for the 8year old kids who will be joining the awakening exam after two months.

It will be a sort of relaxation and will boost kids confidence before the assessment.

The headmaster thought for a while measuring the pros and cons of the marathon. Finally giving his decision to Arnas.

"I and the academy agrees with you, but what about the parents of those children, how will you make them agree to participate in it, " Headmaster asked about it. He wanted to see the depths of the person in front of him.

"You don't have to worry about it," said Arnas while passing a paper from his ring.

The paper was the form announcing the marathon. The location selected for it was in the safe and barren land. Many elements will help to set it for the event. The participant will have to be 8-years old. They were will be many places that will be scary and participants must know how to swim.

The projection for the match will be set up in a structure especially made for the audience that will be watching those kids. You can pay for the seat and enjoy Anjos monster foods and drinks at the event.

The winner will get an E-Ranked Hologen as the prize. While the others will get coupons for Anjos restaurant specifics will be told after the match at the award ceremony.

"An E-Ranked Hologen isn't it a bit overwhelming gift" The headmaster read through the specifics of the form and sounded a bit surprised after seeing the pic of the hologen.

"Well, many people will come just wanting to see the award," said Arnas while grinning.

The headmaster pondered while watching the form from time to time and finally said, "I agree, the school will be providing some staffs for work"

"Thank you, Mr Principal," said Arnas as he shook hands with the headmaster of Apple Valley Academy while taking out about 200 forms from his ring.

"Well then, see you," said Arnas as he got out of the office.

The ads were printed in the newspaper or through the flyers delivered across the location with a greater amount of people. The park's management was bribed and the announcement reached among the town folks.

In the Anjos Restaurant,

Advertisement flyers were placed on every table as people read them from time to time discussing them with their families or friends.

Arnas and Nasha were on the upper floor watching all this calmly.

"It will be quite fun," said Nasha grinning toward Arnas.

"Yes it will," said Arnas while smirking toward his wife.
