49 Chapter 41 - Him.

"Hey, love," Jay bent over Tsunade, lovingly kissing her lips, "You look hot."

"If I wasn't embarrassed enough," Tsunade muttered, lying on a table with several electrodes connected all over her body. She lay there, wearing light purple underwear and a bra, with her colleagues like Kisuke, Ajuka, Azazel, and Katasuke surrounding her.

"Why do I have to do this?"

"You are alone, babe. I am next," Jay looked toward the monitors of a Supercomputer, and light passed over his wife, taking in her stats. Ajuka put a camera from which a holographic light came out, scanning her Karma.

"The two of you have this code embedded in you. One that takes information from your lives before, and then you used a Gigai and overwrote that Gigai to make a perfect body for you. All that is good, but the fact remains you can't use best of Ten Tails or Kaguya's Powers," Ajuka read the first page on his clipboard.

"While all this is good," Kisuke narrowed his eyes, "And you two might be our strongest force. We believe that the chaos caused by all these abilities…well, basically. You can't bring out their full potential."

"Especially when we count that he was a Progenitor Class Vampire before, and this Karma is hiding a code to that level of power," Azazel watched her karma with interest.

Tsunade glanced towards Tono, who was the only one blushing, and it caused her to feel embarrassed. She lashed out at him, "You have anything to say!"

"No, ma'am!"

"A little longer, sweetheart," Jay patted her head.

Tsunade bit her lip, "Fine. Do you guys even have a plan? What are you going to do?"

"W-we don't know that. What we know is that we have to get rid of the access," Katasuke Tono said in an insecure voice. More so because he was seeing the Great Tsunade Senju nearly naked, and the other beings here were not only knowledgeable and brilliant but also decisive.

Still, these new technological developments, overlapping science, magic, chakra and soul technology, excited him more than anything.

"We have options," Katasuke excited spoke, "We could use the Ten-Tails to divide it into multiple smaller but powerful beings. And use them as the Source for Sacred Gear. That way, we could upgrade the power levels of the Kages. Allowing them to fight at the same level as God Tier beings."

"That sounds good," Tsunade forgot about her embarrassment. Her mind already liked the plan since it would help her grandfathers and others like Jiraya and Minato to fight alongside them. She wouldn't have so much pressure. Her Karma had powers when her husband turned her into a Vampire to fight against Kaguya. They were strong enough. She didn't need the Ten-Tails part.

"That Ten-Tails is connected to her Zanpakuto," Kisuke reminded them, "Giving it away would mean giving away of you, Zanpakuto. You will cripple it."

"That's fine. I understand," Tsunade closed her eyes, "While you are at it, get rid of that Vampire thing."

"Hm?" Four of them froze before Katasuke hurried said, "are you serious? Why would you want to do that? That would remove the source of your strength."

From what they had seen and separated, there were three Sources of Tsunade's strength. Her strength as a Ninja carried through Karma on her forehead. The second was the Vampire bloodline, which further strengthened her. The infinite energy the bloodline granted took her powers to the Limit of Shinigami and Ninja. The same level as her grandfather. The third source of her power was Ten-Tails.

Before the end of the Fourth Ninja War, Jay came across a scroll in a secret dimension, which knew Karma. However, those scrolls were beyond recognisable. His powers at that time allowed him to make them readable, which is how Artificial Karma was created. Then at the end of the Fourth Ninja War, there came a moment when they destroyed Kaguya's body, and she was all energy.

Now, she would have restored from that damage, but both used the Karma to absorb her separately. Tsunade ended up with the Ten-Tails and Jay with Kaguya's soul.

Now, she wanted to remove most of her power sources, leaving her with her strength as the ninja, "And it's not impressive."

"I can get one of those Sacred Gears you make with Ten-Tail, right? That'd be good enough for me," Tsunade impatiently said.

Ajuka nodded, "Ok. Let me explain. Take it as…everyone who gets one of those when we make those will have their power shot up from wherever they were to 10. But, your base power would make a difference. If you were nine before, then you'd be 10.9. But you are talking about going back to 5. And so, you will be 10.5. You must understand that above 10, these decimal points will make a difference. A massive one."

"I'll find another way. Just do it," Tsunade shot a look at them, and they turned their eyes towards Jay.

"Just do it, guys. She would have never agreed to become a vampire if the world weren't ending. Not even for eternal beauty. She's a purist," Jay shrugged.

"Ok," Kisuke took a deep breath, "What do you want to do?"

Jay poked Tsunade's cheek, pressing his finger to annoy her because her requests always made trouble. She took it to a point, knowing that she was causing trouble, but she slapped his hand away at one point.

He groaned, placing his lips on hers, slowly kissing her, stroking her head, ignoring the sound of people clearing their throats around him. His eyes focused on hers, 'The way I am like now…I can dig deeper.'

The world around him melted away, turning into darkness, and the only person he could see was Tsunade. He straightened his body, but it was like his soul had walked out of his body, walking around the table and Tsunade in darkness, and a model of Tsunade's body came out of her, floating in front of his eyes.

He waved his hand, and her body separated into Zanpakuto, chakra, karma, ten-tails, and vampire versions.

"I can erase Karma, Ten-Tails, Vampire. Nothing that is not the human and pure soul. That means genetic solutions are out."

He wrote down genetics with a purple marker and crossed them, 'A Sacred Gear with Vampire abilities?'

"No. She would never agree to that."

He walked around her body, "There is Sairaorg Route. Right. Now that the worlds have merged, their physical capabilities go up. She was High-Level before, Ultimate with her Jutsu. Now she can go to Ultimate with little training and Satan with her Jutsu."

"That doesn't help much since Ultimate and Satan are the old news. What you need is to go beyond that."

"If I run a few simulations," Jay watched her body separate into ten more, each with different images and Sacred Gears, but none helped.

His eyes landed on one of them, and he created another, "The Ten Tail will make her reach Ten, and Satan Class will allow her to reach 10.7. Sirzechs, Hashirama, Yamamoto Class should be 10.8. Naruto, Sasuke, and Ophis should be about 10.9. Planet Destroyers. The Great Red and Isshin Otsutsuki should be 11."

"No, that won't work. With new methods, Isshiki should be above 11, and let's not talk about Aizen, who has the Hogyoku. The stronger the enemies, the faster he will push, and he'd soon reach Ichigo's level, which should be about Code's Level. Let alone the other two."

"When you compare to that, 10.7 is far too weak. I need to find a way to push her further."

"Void Genome, that might make this a possibility," Jay unfurled his fingers, and thousands of possibilities appeared to begin with. He ran his eyes over them in a moment, taking the information, looking at the strongest one where she could manipulate void crystal, making world-destroying creatures and armies.

"No. Voids are based on the Heart. Tsunade's heart has always been medicine," Jay put conditions and possibilities became less before expanding, syringes, scalpel, thread, medical tools, "Medicine…no. Her body, fine control, her chakra control. Her point has always been minimum use, finest control, and the greatest burst of strength."

He narrowed down the possibilities to ten, "Will she have gauntlets? Boots? No, that's not her, either. Her body has always been her strength."

He froze, and a smile appeared on his lips, "I see. Well, that was stupid."

The darkness broke apart like a mirror, falling to the ground like a drop of blood on Tsunade's face. She blinked, realising that his closed eyes were bleeding, and she wanted to sit up, but she hit him early, so she carefully sat up, "Jay?"

"I am fine," Jay straightened his back, smiling, with his eyes closed as blood came out from his ears and closed eyes.

"Hey, Jay?" Ajuka touched his arm, "That's hot."

He touched the feverish arm, realising that his heart was beating too hard, even for his Superhuman Physique and at the rope's end. He touched the forehead, taking out the camera from his pocket, scanning his head, "Oh, shit."

"What is it?" Kisuke appeared behind Ajuka, looking at the monitor. The picture showed a brain convulsing, bleeding, to the point that it made him wonder how this person was alive.

"Hey, hey, hey, what did you do?!" Azazel panicked a little, but not as much as Tsunade, who would have punched him if she wasn't worried about killing him.

"It's ok," Jay yawned, "You guys are making a big deal out of it. I will sleep it off."

The karma on his forehead shone, and his body started healing again, but much more slowly than it should have. It would have repaired faster if his head had blown off.

"I took a body with much lower stats, so they inhibit my powers, and I went further to discourage myself from using them. So, I think it's about time I get rid of the 27th body and return to the 26 generations. That one had better stats than this."

"How many bodies do you have," Tsunade took her haori, wiping the blood off his cheeks, earlobe and neck.

"27. This is the 27th. The weakest. 1st is the one that allows me to bring out most of my powers and abilities. 26th….well, it's better than this one. It would allow me to use the most basic of them. Should be enough for the future trouble."

"You don't have to brag, not in the condition you are in," Azazel scoffed, "So what? You go to a wardrobe and change clothes?"

"Um…no," Jay waved his hand, "I'll be back by the morning. Till then. You guys focus on giving my wife whatever she wants."

Tsunade gave him a look, and he chuckled, disappearing from their sight, and she sighed, "Let's get over with this."

"How strong was he when he first met you," Kisuke watched her lay down, wiping the blood from her cheek, still looking towards the door.

"He was weak. Human weak, but at the basic potential of this body…he was the same level as my grandfather."

"Oh…and that's the 27th generation," Kisuke muttered, "Now that I think about it…the man is an enigma."

"That's true," Azazel muttered, "First time I saw someone trying desperately to get weaker."

Park, Kuoh City,

Jay looked up at the sky, whispering a name, "Amara."

He closed his eyes, and when he looked again, he was under a starry sky, standing on water that reflected it. His reflection was visible in the water, and another stood back to back with him.

"How the mighty have fallen. Asking for my help."

Jay narrowed his eyes, watching the person covered from head to toe in clothing material and a mask on her face. Not an inch of her skin was visible, yet, anyone looking at her would say she was more beautiful than any other man, woman, or even the beauty of nature.

"Oh. Wait. You being an idiot, managed to lose all your emotions at a conceptual level," She chuckled, enjoying his misery, "Ah, this would have been so much better if you begged me when your emotions were still there. Fine. I'll wait till you get them back before gloating."

"Can I…just?"

"Ok. I'll teleport you to that place and back, but this time only," Amara disappeared, and his body was sent to the Temple where he stored his bodies.

The lights lit up, and cylindrical glass tanks lined up across the wall in three rows. He stepped into the tank with 27th on it, and lines of lights lit up across the ground.

[Would you like to start the transfer from 27thbody?]

"Yes."

[Please choose the designated body.]

"26th."

[Understood. Would you like to keep the looks of your current body and overwrite the 26th?]

"Is there a difference? I thought they were the same?"

[They are not.]

"Hm. Fine. Go with 26ths."

[Understood.]

Jay felt the conceptual energy spread through his body, and for one moment, he finally lost consciousness. He was in a familiar yet unfamiliar body when he had it back again. The door finally opened, and he stepped out. Soft hairs brushed against his elbow, and the weight of the katana on his waist caused the memories to come rushing back.

"Ah, right. This was the body in which I mastered the way of the Samurai," Jay muttered when mirrors came down from the roof, falling in front of him, showing him his look. His facial features were the same, and so were his height and even his body shape. What little differed was the long hair, which was longer, tied back in a high ponytail, reaching his waist, and the kimono he wore. He pulled out the katana on his waist, brushing his fingers on the scarlet blade when he realised he was standing on water.

"Ah, that one is a bit decent," Amara's smooth voice entered his ear, "But that body…is only human."

"Good. Because I am the Monster, it needs to reach its full potential," Jay placed the katana back in the sheathe, and how he stood, his every action, there was that hint of discipline.

"Oh well. Enjoy while you can," Amara said goodbye; her voice and realm disappeared while he found himself at the park. Though this time, he wasn't alone.

"26th body," Decimo muttered, "I still don't remember what we did when we had that. Do you?"

Jay stayed still; his scarlet eyes seemed glowing in the night's darkness and light. He placed his left hand on the blade's hilt on the left side of his body, "I knew you were going to figure out the moment I left the universe."

"Yeah," Decimo looked in the distance, "I couldn't figure out for a moment. How is it that the connection between us broke? We are supposed to be the same person, with two bodies but one mind. And then, abruptly, I saw it…I finally saw your mind and the way, the layers that it worked. Once you disappeared, it hit me…we were a part of you, and at one point, we separated. Yet, you used that mind of yours, the depths we never understood, the core…and created an illusion that we were the same."

"No, it's not that," Jay shook his head, "You have just forgotten what Title 'J' grants you. Once you took another name, you forgot the Truth about the name. The name and title have the power, and the condition I was named can't ever be replicated."

"You…you were born from the First J. Much like us."

"I am his Will. I am J," Jay softly smiled, "But that is not what separated you from me. That feeling you got, the moment you decided that you didn't belong to that title and did to that family, to those people. You completely let go of that responsibility."

"It can't be that simple to leave the collective."

"Oh, it is, and it is not," Jay closed his eyes, "I am the Will of J, and I will forever be J. It's not easy for me to leave…me?"

"How did we?"

"You have to ask?"

Decimo raised his eyes, looking at the man in front of him, those glowing scarlet eyes. He couldn't see past them. He stood in front of the man he used to be, yet this guy was a mystery to him. They were born when the First One decided that a woman was more important than saving trillion lives.

There were Seven of them, and they were the same. They played the Universes and beings that possessed strength unimaginable to people here, even with their growing strength, and in the end, they were victorious once again. Though there were blank in his memories when it came towards the end, and more so as they passed through from body to body.

He clenched his fist, feeling anger that shouldn't be possible since he barely had his feelings, "You…tell me…were we ever the same? Or did you play us, like all those Beings?"

"Hmp," A smile appeared on Jay's lips as he walked forward, closing his eyes, opening them as he passed him by.

"How long! How long have you been using your mind to make us think that we are the same!! Were we ever the same!"

The anger flooded him, and he summoned the Singer Sword, which had a milky white layer of energy around it, and he swung it, but before he could even complete that swing, wounds opened up all over his body, and blood sprayed out. He widened his eyes, falling on his knee, but before he fell utterly, he managed to stop himself. He clawed the sand, making a fist when he found Jay standing before him.

"I need better clothes," Jay sat down on his knees in seiza position before pulling Decimo in a hug, "Now, there are many reasons why I shouldn't be doing this. One, my clothes will get dirty, and this body doesn't have any magic, energy or all that, so I can't change my body."

"Other, that you are pretty, and some might misconstrue this. So I will make this quick," Jay patted his head, "I already answered you. You already left the collective…you are a being of your own, but that also means you will miss out on secrets of the collective, and my memories will fade away one after the other. The more they do, the more of a person you become. This…anger…this is coming from fear…of being left on your own."

"That's…" Decimo helplessly looked downward.

"Kid, I am sorry I lied to you. It's like when parents help a child learn how to ride a bicycle; they let the child think they are holding on to the bicycle a little longer than necessary. I…did the same."

"That's not the same," Decimo felt a laugh coming to his lips, and he pulled away, closing his green eyes, "I don't know what to do…going forward."

"You are smart," Jay patted his head, "You'll do find, and then I went through the trouble of returning to the 26th body. Now, go and give the good news to your girl."

"Yeah, about that," Decimo looked down at his hands, "What are we going to do about that?"

Jay chuckled, getting on his feet, looking at the sky, "Well, you did great damage to the laws of the worlds, and Jun and Guren expanded them to Aquila and left a source that will spread the change to any other world this ship comes in contact with. So, I don't. You have to worry about that anytime soon."

He stepped away, "Now. I need to change, and you…need to figure things out. Dech."

Decimo looked up at the place where the dust flew up, and he stood a moment ago, "I…can't see where I went…he went."

He closed his eyes, "I really am…alone now. How is that good news?"
